Not the best experience you want

Went to the Cannock branch for a test drive yesterday (29/10/2025)Mr. Harry was the sales advisor who attended us. He took my driving licence for photocopying in order to do a test drive. He should have returned my licence after that. But he didn’t and I asked him a couple of times whether he still has my licence; he replied yes,still didn’t return it. We left the premises soon after the test drive. I phoned the branch as soon as I realised he didn’t return the licence.but the person I spoke to couldn’t care less, Mr. Harry said he didn’t have the licence although I didn’t speak to him directly. I requested a call back from him, but never called. I rang them again twice this morning, but Harry isn’t in for the next two days; I have been told to call back on Saturday. I applied for a new licence with DVLA spending £20 as I couldn’t wait and needed to go to other showrooms for test drives.
Really bad customer service, they didn’t take the matter seriously. I do not know if it’s the company’s policy to retain customers’ driving licence. It could be misused by someone. I really doubt he has misplaced my licence and wanted to cover it up

Really disappointed! Beware of their sales calls !

Really disappointed with the broadband services I've been receiving. Despite being offered a discounted offer, I wasn't informed about it, and my current plan doesn't reflect the promotional rate. This was offered after I received a sales phone call supposedly from Cuckoo. I was also offered a £200 Amazon voucher as part of their promotion. He also confirmed that I do not need to anything with my previous internet provider and cuckoo will do the switching. In addition, i was promised that I do not need to pay any fees for breaking the contract with the previous provider as cuckoo will pay that as well.
After signing up for the deal, I received the mails from cuckoo explaining the plan and I noticed that the discount was not reflected on the account. So I contacted the sales person again about this; but I was told that it’s an automated mail, when the account is up and running, I will get the discount.
I had to register a complaint to get these resolved. They agreed to offer me the promotional discount of £9 per month for broadband. But not the Amazon voucher and the previous supplier fees which again I had to email. The last email from customer service I received said they are checking the information and will let me know, This was on 23/09/2025 which is a week ago. I had to call customer service again today to get an update. To my disappointment again, no update was provided ; it seemed like they don’t really care and did nothing to address this issue.
If they cannot resolve the issue, I’ll cancel the contract and escalate it further to OfCom and ombudsman.

I’m posting another review to warn everyone else not use webuyanyphone.com as this company will sell our data to other companies who will then take payments from our bank account without our permission. Beware!!! Do not click on any freebie links after yousubmit the order!!! It’s a scam to take your money

Same experience as everyone here… got my money back

Same as everyone else on here… tried to sell a phone on webuyanyphone. They offered much less money than quoted for a phone, so got my phone back.
WeBuyAnyPhone is a scam company, they pay way less than their quote and sell our data to other companies who charges for their service without our authorisation.

Both of these included a one-month free trial, after which the subscription continues on a hassle-free basis. Within the sign up, it does mention using the same bank details. WeBuyAnyPhone.com do send out around 3 emails confirming this and notifying you the subscription is coming to an end.

Great experience! Quick and efficient service

Great experience!
After experiencing a problem with another company after trying to sell my old iPhone, I was a bit sceptical about using Mazuma mobile. The process was very smooth and fast. I sent the phone by special delivery yesterday. They received the phone this morning; inspection was done within a few hours and I received the full money they promised. All within 24 hrs. Amazing !! Very quick service. Highly recommended…❤️❤️

Do not use them if you want best price for your mobile

I sent my iPhone to them as they gave the best price.. but after receiving the phone, they valued it around £100 less than the original quoted price. It only needed a cleaning with wet wipes! I only used the phone for about 4 months and I’m sure there were no visible marks and scratches. They did not bother to clean the screen and back and reported that there were scratches on it and at the back as well when it was spotlessly clean without any scratches. The only thing they wanted was to downgrade from Good to OK status. It could be their way of making money. I took the phone back, sold to mazuma mobile, got the full money from them the next day; no questions asked. Avoid these guys if you need better price for your used phones. 22% of their reviewers gave 1 star which means alsmost 1 in 4 customers were not happy at all. I’m sure they will try to defend their decision with copy paste words, and with a video of inspection. . But that’s not good enough to satisfy a customer like me.
Also please be warned that they will sell your info to other companies who will then take your money from your bank account without your permission. It’s a scam!!! Beware!!

However once received and assessed by our technicians, we found your device had noticeable wear to the edges of the device. This meant your device matched our pretty good condition and so the revised value was given.

Do not use Vance if you want your transfer to reach quickly !!

This is the second time it has happened to me with Vance where the transfer to India bank account was delayed due to unknown reason. They tried to hold on to the money(don’t know why) before crediting to the nominated bank account. I wrote a negative review here first time when it happened, a manager contacted me within minutes requesting me to remove the review and was offered me compensation. I removed the review upon his request. The first instance it took almost two days where it should take only a few minutes. Apparently there are checks to be made before they can credit the money. In fact I had sent money to the same account before through Vance and it was only a small amount. It happened again in January when I tried to transfer the same amount of money to the same account; it didn’t get credited even after 24 hours, so I contacted customer service( there is no phone number where we can call) and send message on WhatsApp as well. The transfer was completed a few hours after I complained and communicating with the manager again. I expressed my concern on the Vance’s WhatsApp group, and I was removed from their group subsequently. I won’t be using them again, you need peace of mind after you send the money;do not want to take the stress thinking where my money is gone.!!!
Do not use them.. 24% of their reviews are 1 star, which clearly shows one in four customers are not happy at all…

No one should use Groupon ever again!! Stay away!!

If I could I would have given negative star to them !! No one should use Groupon ever again. The worst company to deal with. Ordered a garden sofa about 8 weeks ago, never got the item... no communication whatsoever from the company regarding the order. Went to their website, no clear instructions how to make complaint. So sent messages on their Facebook page. I specifically said I do not want a Groupon credit. But they will always try to refund the money as credits. Who needs those credits when you’re not going to buy anything from them ever?! You pay for the items and then you have to fight with them to get it back as they can’t fulfil any orders at present. I can see the company going bust in days from now. Absolutely awful service.
