This was never mentioned on any sales order or purchase documnets of the new car when they were aware i was keeping my private plate.

Buccaneer purchased over 35k no aftersales support

I brought a 2019 Buccaneer cruiser from Green Trees paid over 35k, just over 12months ago, it developed a small stress fracture on the roof linked to a joint, only noticed when i had it serviced last month, which could have let water into the bathroom area if not sealed, the service engineer kindly sealed it for me short term to stop any water getting in, I contacted Green trees to inform them about this sent pictures and the service report, they did not want to know, they sat behind the TCs of Elddis, now they are trying to sell me end caps to cover this small fracture. a good job the service guy kindly put some sealant in this fracture to stop any body water ingress through it short term!!! which in my understanding should come under the water ingress warranty?..... response from Green trees this does not fall under the 6 year bodyshell warranty, as stated by Elddis - "Ten Year Water Ingress and Body Integrity Warranty Elddis Buccaneer products are covered against water ingress damage for 10 years from the original date of purchase of a new product. This applies to water ingress through any permanently sealed seam joints (BTW this fracture is from one of the joints on the roof) You currently do not have any water ingress (this is because the service engineer sealed the stress fracture short term) so this does not apply,

I'm in sales, my customers satisfaction on products we sell is where we continue to grow our business year on year, even if warranty is just a few weeks outside of a 12month period, we would bend over backwards to help our customers..... i would think twice about buying a caravan from Greentree's, the aftersales care is extremely poor and they defiantly hide behind their TCs....

We are sorry you feel that way, we do not hide behind any T&C's, we do however uphold warranty in line with the franchises we hold, we can not submit fraudulent claims so we are only authorised to do work within the manufacturers warranty. We apologise that this is not covered however it is not a decision we have any involvement in and feel this does not reflect upon our business.
