Contacted this company through there website to see if they could unlock my phone, which is quite old. After reading various review that had been placed by some customer. There was a mixture of good, and bad.
But went ahead, and decided to use this company, because you are alway going to have some customer who are not going to be satisfied with the service they received.

I filled out the required information, which was all quite straight forwards. Just before you come to the page where you will make your payment, there is a list that you have to read through, to make sure your phone is suitable to be unlocked.
I must say that I found the whole process quite easy. I paid the amount due, and was informed of how long it might take, and also if they were unable to unlock my phone, I would receive a refund.

The next day I had a message from pay pal, to say that I had received a refund from Unlocks. That is why I have given them 5 stars, because as soon as they realised that they could not unlock my phone, they refunded my money, I did not have to chase them up about it.

There is only one minor criticism that I have, and that is that I would have really like to have known, why they could not unlock my phone?

The delay was caused by you failing to respond, and you blame us and say you’re not impressed? I don’t think so! Order cancelled and payment refunded, go elsewhere!

If that's what you call customer service feel free to use them?

Because I placed the order using my email account, but my wife paid using her PayPal account they asked for confirmation from my wife's email account to protect against fraud (I guess, which is fair enough). My wife immediately replied to the request with no acknowledgement from Unlocks. I then asked them to confirm that they had received the email 3 days later, again they did not respond. The website says that if you do not receive a code within 3 working days to message, which I have done, and they respond with this? Very professional!

Was skeptical at first but they did indeed do the job. Unlocked my very old orange SIM card with an old ZTE phone can now use as back up, only took 4 hours.

Brilliant. Unlocked 2 alcatel phones in under 2 hours. Very clear instructions. Recommend to anyone.

My phone provider in Australia wasn't even listed but he still managed to unlock it for just a few dollars in under 48h.
Really helped me out, as I couldn't afford a new phone or to switch to the phone's provider. I doubt he's earning much from this.. to unlock from the provider would have been over 10x higher cost.

It's not good I don't believe this company gets the correct unlock codes.
I have tried & tried to enter the codes & every time they're not accepted.
I've asked for a refund but I'm told I've got to keep trying the codes in 24 hours, then 48 hours, then 72 hours, so when does it end, in a year?
I just want my phone unlocked & this company is unable to do it.

Brilliant. After being scammed by another unlocking company I thought they were all the same. I couldn't believe it when I found this website that could unlock my old Nokia 6310i for free. Tbh I thought it was a scam because it was free but it worked perfectly. Thank you for providing this great service.

I bought an unlock code for a motorola from them. They never sent me the code but they took my money, around $ 3. Seeing that I do not send my code I asked paypal to return my money. After about 2 weeks I received a refund from paypal. That same day I received a threatening message from a Derek from unlock, that he had contacted the fraud department and my internet provider, as well as that I was dealing with fraud. Can you believe how brave this Derek is? So they are scammers but i am the one with fraud :) If necessary, I can attach the emails from them. there are so many serious companies, I have never had problems.

Honest and fast delivery of phone code, that worked. Not much more that I can add.

Had no reason to contact them so cannot comment in this respect.

Edit. Actually one more thing I can add, used them a few years ago for a Blackberry 9000 unlock code and the code came within minutes (as far as I can remember!!), so no issues there either.

I've tried pretty much everything to get my phone unlocked, I sent a message to 'unlock' hoping they could help, I didn't even get the courtesy of a response. 'Unlocks' is your company and the company I contacted, I can provide you with a private screenshot confirmation as evidence, clearly you are more responsive to a 'trustpilot' negative review than responding to a customers call for help
UPDATE: Just read what I can only call a rant regarding my review and the disproportionate response to Trustpilots upholding of my review, this guy/company really has issues, I suggest you think carefully before trusting your hard earned cash with a company that have such negative principals, read the 'bullying' review by a previous disgruntled customer, I think that says it all, beware

Be very careful when dealing with these people. I left a negative review a few days ago & in response they threatened me with 3 things if I didn't remove my review. These include legal action from which they are now pursuing due to them wanting to claim costs for the custom they believe they've lost due to my negative review.
Also they are reporting me to my service provider.
Also they intend to contact my mobile phone manufacturer to get my phone black listed!
So woh be tide you if you have bad service & leave a negative review ha ha. You have been warned. I feel you as customers reading this you really need to see how this company operates by using threatening & bullying tactics just because they don't like customers leaving negative reviews from which we are all entitled.

I find that unlocks is very useful, especially in an emergency, I'd recommend unlocks to any1, it's quick, very easy instructions and very affective, thank you unlocks.

this item was for my step-daughter who do's not have access to the internet,or is IT savvy. The time it took for the code to come through caused a slight delay in gettig her phone up and running. But it worked perfectly. Thank You.
