I wish I had found the unlocks website before I wasted so much time speaking to Virgin Media trying to get them to unlock the phone from their network which they refused to do. Unlocks is a very good and genuine service and only cost me £2.99.

If your phoned is locked or you are changing you network then use unlocks
Brilliant service, got code in 1 day for € 18.
Had waited 4 weeks for a network unlock code form Vodafone that did not work
They wanted me to spend €20 getting the phone “fixed” with no guarantee it would work
Save time and money, use theses guys for Irish and UK phone unlocking.
Get NAC codes on PUK network codes for the same price

It was very straight forward, they sent the instructions and the code about 3 days after purchase. And I'm pleased to say it worked. Wish they were a bit cheaper, but I guess it was my choice to pay. Although they were cheaper than others I saw, to be fair.
