DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VW

I am so NOT surprised that their rating here is so low. I just wish I'd taken a look before jumping into bed with these charlatans. So many problems dealing with them that I can't be bothered to list them but I'll leave this as a prime example of how they do business;

Heading into the last week of our lease we wanted to know what we needed to do to make our final balloon payment? Not how we could delay it, how we could make it? We COULD NOT get in contact with VW Finance. We called several times and sat on hold for over half an hour before giving up. The finance company we were dealing with couldn't get through to them to find out how to transfer funds. We got through to a representative twice, just for the line to go dead before they could answer any questions, AND NOBODY CALLED BACK despite them checking all of our contact details before entering into conversation. We emailed requesting a phone call to clear up how we should go about making this final payment.

Finally, on the morning our lease expired, without warning, notification, or acknowledgment of payment, £12,500 was simply TAKEN from my wife's account. The only reason we knew a payment had been taken was because my wife went £12,500 OVERDRAWN and received a notification to make funds available from her bank. Nothing from VW, not so much as a thanks for paying. We had to borrow money from friends and family to ensure we didn't get into trouble with the bank.

To this day, over 3 weeks on, we STILL have had no acknowledgement of this payment and zero contact from VW.

I have now lodged a complaint with VW Finance, but needless to say, 3 weeks on, they haven't gotten back to me. Convenient.

Rude, disrespectful, and HIGHLY unprofessional

This is an exact copy of a message I have just received;

Hello.

The delay was caused by you failing to respond, and you blame us and say you’re not impressed? I don’t think so! Order cancelled and payment refunded, go elsewhere!

If that's what you call customer service feel free to use them?

Because I placed the order using my email account, but my wife paid using her PayPal account they asked for confirmation from my wife's email account to protect against fraud (I guess, which is fair enough). My wife immediately replied to the request with no acknowledgement from Unlocks. I then asked them to confirm that they had received the email 3 days later, again they did not respond. The website says that if you do not receive a code within 3 working days to message, which I have done, and they respond with this? Very professional!

Yet another moron who can't read. Clearly informed during the order process that delivery can take up to 10 business days. Because they used an email address that was different to the PayPal email address, we requested confirmation from the PayPal account holder. That request was ignored for 4 days, then they had the audicity to have a go at us for the delay, absolutely brainless! get a grip and grow up you childish morons!

ID Mobile is a JOKE

ID Mobile is a JOKE! Their "fully automated" response system basically means you can only deal with automated responses, you are 100% unable to talk to anyone, and they can ignore your issues by passing you from one automated response to another until you finally give up. How is this even legal???

Disappointing

I insured my car with Chris Knott for 6 years consecutively. I'd never missed a payment, paying monthyvia direct debit and taking an instant renewal each year without a seconds hesitation. I recently had to sell my car for financial reasons and obviously had to cancel my insurance. I've now received a letter stating that I have to pay £109.28 in cancellation fees. Great company, just don't have any issues before your renewal is up cos they'll kick you in the backside for it. I won't be using their services in the future.

2 out of 4 not good.

I ordered three books, all of which I selected 'very good condition'. Two arrived in 'very good condition', one was battered! I ordered them as Christmas presents and whilst I am more than happy to give second hand books, this one was embarrassing. My wife has just received a book that she ordered, again said to be in 'very good condition' and it's filthy. Really not impressed.

Box quality questionable

The quality of the discs is not in question as they are perfect. The boxes however, are not in the " good condition" as described. They're actually battered!

Website is easy to use and delivery was…

Website is easy to use and delivery was quick. However, the quality of the dvd cases was not what I expected. CDs were fine, but the dvd boxset cases (cardboard rather than plastic) were battered!
