Perhaps I should have read the trustpilot reviews, for this Bangkok located holiday package agent before I used their services. They use nefarious practices with no real access to any kind of effective recourse. I have two complaints, i will list them seperately. The first relates to discount offers: They offer many different discount options when making a booking, the one I chose, (a 10% discount for downloading the Agoda App when placing the booking) did not apply the discount at check out, apparently I missed some 'small print'. Did a same day booking with this company, my circumstances changed within 30 mins of me making the booking and I cancelled, they still charged me 75% of the booking fee even though as a car hire broker firm they will have not incurred any costs at that point with the car hire firm. There T&Cs stipulate 48hrs notice to cancel but as I booked same day that was not possible. In summary, this is a mercenary, inflexible and high handed approach to doing business and I will not be using them again they have hidden behind their T&Cs to profiteer at my expense. A reasonable company would have made allowances for my circumstances

musicMagpie are failing existing customers at a fundamental level. It was time to renew my preowned Samsung S8+ i had rented it for a year. The basic principals of trading dictate that if an item is rented for a year and needs renewing for the following year the item should be cheaper, due to wear & tear depreciation and increasing obscellence, right? Not with musicMagpie im afraid, they wanted to increase my monthly rental from £10.99 to £13.64, why? it didn't make sense. Although i tried to query this with senior managers within musicMagpie, they remain hidden and inaccessible, musicMagpie, as a token gesture did eventually reduce the proposed monthly payments, but it was still going to cost me more than the previous year. As they have total disregard for basic trading principals i will be declining their offer and looking elsewhere for a better deal. There are no winners in this situation, i have to rent another phone from somewhere else and they lose my business permanently...my advice, think carefully about entering into a contract with musicMagpie, shocking aftersales service.

I've tried pretty much everything to get my phone unlocked, I sent a message to 'unlock' hoping they could help, I didn't even get the courtesy of a response. 'Unlocks' is your company and the company I contacted, I can provide you with a private screenshot confirmation as evidence, clearly you are more responsive to a 'trustpilot' negative review than responding to a customers call for help
UPDATE: Just read what I can only call a rant regarding my review and the disproportionate response to Trustpilots upholding of my review, this guy/company really has issues, I suggest you think carefully before trusting your hard earned cash with a company that have such negative principals, read the 'bullying' review by a previous disgruntled customer, I think that says it all, beware

What should have been a 5* experience unnecessarily reduced to 3*. Recently bought a Jaguar from Peter Vardy Aberdeen, team were very helpful and professional however, my experience was marred by my after sales experience. I had arranged to pick the vehicle up at Glasgow but the sales manager miscommunucated this to his team and I was asked to drop the delivery sales guy off in Edinburgh afterwards, this was highly inconvenient because I was arriving from Carlisle into Edinburgh by train. Everybody makes mistakes so I said i would do it, I was promised a Jaguar hat in compensation! Pretty paultry really I would have thought an RSport decal or something more substantial tbh considering the 90miles excess mileage going on to my PCP. I'm not really concerned about a hat to be honest, it's the principal, I have chased them for the hat 3 times and each time been promised it is on it's way, still nothing and I've given up....pity this could have been a 5* review otherwise

Just answer were professing to be Jaguar Car experts and as I was buying an XF 2:0D I want advise on the two engines 180bhp and 240bhp, this is a rudimentary question but as of a day later I still havent received an answer even though they say they usually respond within 30 minutes, if I explained that if I wait any longer the cars could be sold to other buyers, asked for my money back and closed my account as they have been of zero help, what's the point of promoting yourself as a Jaguar expert if you cant answer rudimentary questions in a timely manner?

Shocking telephone canvassing methods and deceitful operational practices: My elderly Father lives at home on his own but has vascular dementia and is looked after by carers throughout the day.
My Father was contacted by energyhelpline and they switched him to a new provider, anybody that speaks to my Father for more than 20 seconds would realise that he is a vulnerable person. In the last 2 years he has changed providers at least 5 times based on these nuisance callers, it is time consuming, unnecessary and highly frustrating.
I complained to Energyhelpline about this and after listening to the transcript they upheld my complaint, in my opinion however, it was not escalated to a high enough level to prevent it happening again. I tried to get this escalated beyond a 'customer services' operative but was met with obstructive behaviour to the point that when attempting to obtain contact details for a senior member of staff I was lied to and given fictitious first names only without a direct email address to take my complaint further.
This was only the beginning of the issue, I decided to take my complaint to 'OFGEM' the regulation authority. They claim to be 'fully accredited to the confidence code' it turns out that this is just 'spin' as they are not a member of OFGEM and judging by my upheld complaint, do not adhere to their code of conduct.
Try as I might I have been unsuccessful in escalating this complaint due to the aforementioned obstructive behaviour which means in effect they are a law unto themselves and totally unregulated, my next step is to contact Which and WatchDog, Take note Mark Todd.
19-05-2020 UPDATE I have now had a reply from Energyhelpline.com regarding my Trustpilot review, and the response is astonishing. The main focus of my complaint was that I was frustrated that I had resistance to escalating it beyond a customer services operative and Energyhelplines reply? Please contact our customer services team if I want to pursue my complaint further, the arrogance is unbelievable
