Saving time and losing weight.. what could be better!

It's so helpful to have the ingredients and the meal choices organised in advance and to be able to choose quick to make dishes that are clorie couned and low carb. We have both lost weight and enjoyed the process with the help of Green Chef. Unlike diet injections this method actually teaches you how to eat well and within your calorie allowance for the day - and enjoy the process! Thank you - keep it going and sharing new and delicious low carb, low calorie dishes for us to enjoy - saving time and losing weight.. what could be better!

SCAM!!

SCAM!!
Same as a previous review, it asks for a preauthorisation so that you can browse the menu. After browsing and decided there’s not enough good choices, I decided not to proceed. I then noticed that it has subscribed me and set an order date already. I tried to contact within less than 15 mins of this to cancel and ensure if it not dispatched, the phone line is closed and no chat or email options. Extremely frustrating. Will have to raise a chargeback if they do not adhere to the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and process a full refund and ensure no order is dispatched.
Do not fall for it.

We do not like very spicy food

We do not like very spicy food. But the biggest complain is that we receive the order on Saturday and must then choose, skip by Monday! That is not enough time!!! Today is Tuesday (the 14th)and I'm told it's too late to change the delivery for the 18th!

Atrocious service and supply of recipes time and time again.

Atrocious. Consistently poor service of products, ingredients, recipes and mix ups. Received two of the same recipe. Received different recipe to order for example order 51 and receive recipe 21. Time and time again I give them feedback, they offer refunds as an apology but that’s useless when you have to then go out to the supermarket to purchase missing ingredients. Wrong recipes, yes you can find the On line but that’s not the point. We had a complete mix up of recipes before we went on holiday. We stopped then restarted when we returned only to receive only one recipe card. I have asked for their KPi data for right first time and fulfilment data but nothing. It’s terrible, now gone back to gusto. Only left gusto by inducement but absolutely terrible service.

Not safe for Rapeseed Allergies

Ordered the boxes and they couldn't guarantee if they used sunflower oil and stated they would interchange it with rapeseed oil without a label change - cooking for someone with an allergy to rapeseed oil so this is highly disappointing they cannot accurately label thier food - had to cancel the order!

SCAM

SCAM! I had an email with an offer. I went on the website to explore the box options, it asked for card details to view the menu options. Before I pick the menu options it had already booked a delivery for me and pre picked food options! I then cancelled the account straight away. 2 days later I checked my bank account and £64 had been taken from my account and a box on the way! They completely scammed me!
I called customer service and they advised that only 50% can be refunded to me, and there was no way to put through an official complaint or speak with a manager.
I have rejected the box from the evri driver and told them I am not accepting the delivery and to return it to sender. What a waste of food! But I refuse to be scammed. Many other reviews like mine here. I plan to go to trading standards and also contact my credit card company to file a report.

No recipe cards received .

Signed up , changed my mind and cancelled but missed that regardless the first order was coming anyway. It arrived with one completely incorrect recipe card , one for the meat version of my vegan option and one card completely missing. Looking at two recipe cards full of pictures of meat not ideal for a vegan . Had to call to get the right cards by email. Very glad I’ve already cancelled . Not tired the food yet but quality and amount of food for the price is underwhelming .

Illegal sales techniques - quote the law to get a refund

I went online to have a look and see if their vegetarian options were wider than the Hello Fresh ones. I found that they were very similar so cancelled the enforced sign up immediately. I was unable to view recipes without signing up and giving them my bank information. They took £2 to verify a genuine bank account. Even though I cancelled immediately. I received an email thanking me for registering with them. I have since found that they sent me 2 other emails which went to my junk folder ( cancellation and first order date). Today, 5 days later, they have taken £31.15 from my account. I immediately rang them and spoke to someone and told them that it is againstUK law to take money fora service or item not requested. They immediately offered to cancel my first order and give a £31.15 refund. The £2 they stole was not refunded

Sales rep was also rather aggressive to my colleague who didn't want to complete the order then either. Would not recommend!

Beware double payments

Ordered on line then downloaded the app. On the app no boxes ordered. So ordered on the app. There was a link on web ste to the app so I presumed it linked.
It doesn't.
Ended up with 2 boxes being delivered on the same day.
I was told I had 2 accounts. One with the email address I hadn't used for at least 12 years!
No idea how that was even used.
I was told by them this happened multiple times to others which as a company this needs looking at. Or is it a ploy to get 2 lots of money? Hmmm.
Consequently I have
Cancelled both accounts and will use a different service.
