Both my husband & I were looking for a replacement Vi-Spring bed & we met Ben. He definitely knew the products, we were guided through all of the various options. He was so helpful & made the whole process seamless. If you need a new bed just visit the Plymouth branch & ask for Ben.
Ordered the Soho bedside tables and chest of drawers. We were told the bedside tables wouldn’t be in stock until the end of November, which was fine.
On 18th September, Furniture World emailed to say the drawers would be in on 1st October and asked if we wanted them sent together. We replied the same day asking for them to be sent separately — no response.
By 21st October, still no drawers, so we chased it up. They then asked us the same question again! After explaining (again) that we wanted them separately, we were told the drawers still hadn’t been dispatched and the bedside tables are now delayed another three months because only one is in stock — even though we ordered two!
We’re cancelling, getting a refund, and won’t be ordering again.
P.S. The website still says the Soho chest of drawers are “in stock and ready for QUICK delivery” — totally misleading.
We took delivery of two swivel chairs but one of the seats had a problem. A man was sent down to check it out the next day and he ordered a new seat which arrived very quickly and was perfect. I would like to compliment the staff in Truro for an excellent service in both the purchasing, delivery and sorting out a problem immediately with no hassle. It makes a change these days to have such wonderful kind service. Thank you so much.
We went to numerous shops in Cornwall and only Ian in furniture world Truro addressed my size and build in buying the correct size sofas, even guiding us away from more expensive ones that wouldn’t suit, took his time with no pressure and so we went back and bought, great selection of products here, well worth the visit

Wonderful service.
Bought some new leather kitchen stools. Not only were they amongst the cheapest of this particular stool we found online. But delivery was speedy, and the stools were perfect!
But above all, the customer service we received from Samantha and Zia was incredible. Rectified a problem (of our making, not Furniture World) without question and extremely speedily.

I placed and order for a LHF sofa from the first inquiry on the website i spoke from Matt from start to finish . I can’t praise him enough his communication skills are 10/10 .
Received my sofa exactly what I wanted only to find I placed the order for the wrong corner sofa I needed RHF . Matt spoke with Ruth in head office who has authorized a replacement (correct ) sofa to be ordered not many companies would do this . They totally go above and beyond . Took our broken dining chair to the store where we bought it about twenty years ago. Despite the chair being out of production the staff members were extremely helpful and supportive, offering advice regarding repair/replacement solutions. Five stars to you and thank you both.

After my chaise sofa was too large to go through my hallway, Don came to my flat on the day, and was so helpful. They couldn't do enough when I went back to the store. I had the option of full refund, choose another suite, they also offered to have the large chaise sofa to be dismantled and rebuilt in my front room, or I could have my window taken out. It's rare to have such support and options given. Ben and Kevin were fantastic, which made a stressful situation more bareable. I had my window taken out, and Don (on his day off) came to my flat to help the removal guys to ensure the delivery went smoothly. Ben remained in communication with me from the initial delivery date, to the re delivery date. I can't thank furniture world staff enough, fabulous customer service, 5 ⭐

Very poor quality furniture from China , some of it arrived( after months waiting ) smashed to pieces , the only item I kept is broken after 4 months . Customer service is useless , overcharged me by £200 , initially refused to discuss it then tried to divert me to the finance company. Total failure to rectify the broken item , claimed no knowledge of the email i'd sent then 30 seconds later claimed they'd sent a replacement which conveniently must have got lost in the post. The woman I spoke to today is in the wrong job , patronising and continuously shouting over me and then threatened to put the phone down if I carried on interrupting her . Spoke to me like I was 5 years old. Its been a nightmare from start to finish !

After purchasing a table and chairs a few weeks ago I had a problem extending the table. I telephoned the Truro shop and Ollie was very helpful and when the problem couldn’t be solved over the phone he came to my address within half an hour it was all sorted. Great service.

Such a wonderful shopping experience. So much nicer to shop in a family run business rather than the soulless big boys. Kevin was absolutely fantastic. So relaxed, no pressure when choosing a sofa. We then also needed to get a new mattress and George was equally amazing with his expertise and friendly nature. Don made us good coffee and Daisie was great in helping us choose colours! We were disappointed and contacted Furniture world by email. The same day we received an offer of acceptance with 25% refund or exchange. We couldn’t face repackaging and the hassle so we accepted the offer and my husband mended it. It hardly shows really. Each email was replied to promptly. Thank you Jade for your help.

I bought enough pieces to furnish 6 hotel bedrooms after sampling some before going back and purchasing the remaining.
The reason I went back and bought more was because of the quality of the furniture, but also the way Zia went out of her way to provide the levels of service that gave me the confidence to give them my business.
The delivery teams were helpful and polite, having been upgraded to the two man white glove service, who then delivered every piece to each room, built, and then took away the packaging.
There were a couple of pieces that arrived damaged, but Zia quickly had replacements arranged and removed stresses.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I expected to have to wait 2 months for the furniture to arrive. However, after being notified that it had arrived on 9 July, I have today (29 July) been contacted by the delivery service and informed that the first date for delivery is 7 August, despite having notified Furniture World that I am away from 2-16 August. Furniture World have washed their hands for any responsibility for delivery and I now won't receive the furniture until late August at the earliest. It was ordered on 10 May. I will not use them again.

DON'T BUY MARBLE FROM THEM.
Replacement marble table top also arrived BROKEN and upon further inspection we found it was already repaired previously. 3 months wait for yet another disappointment.
This was 3 out of 3 items had to be replaced, sadly.
So for 3 different items we are now scheduling the 7th delivery with 4 of them are replacements.
Very poor finish in general, it was a huge mistake to go with this brand.
