Such a wonderful shopping experience. So much nicer to shop in a family run business rather than the soulless big boys. Kevin was absolutely fantastic. So relaxed, no pressure when choosing a sofa. We then also needed to get a new mattress and George was equally amazing with his expertise and friendly nature. Don made us good coffee and Daisie was great in helping us choose colours! Wow, I have just received the best customer service from “Elizabeth” at opticians direct that I have experienced in a good many years. I purchased a pair of Rayban sunglasses less than a year ago and the Rayban case split recently despite having had only light use. When I googled what to do, it was apparent from posts elsewhere that this is a common fault with Rayban cases. I contacted opticians direct as this was where the purchase had come from and within two minutes of my email, I received a reply from a lovely lady called Elizabeth who having seen the photograph, offered to send me a replacement case straight away.
I have now purchased a second pair of the same sunglasses to have as a spare given the exceptional customer service received today. Well done. It was such a pleasure to receive the kind of service we used to get everywhere but sadly is now almost obsolete! Thankyou Opticians Direct.
Yet another terrible box received. This I can safely say will be the last. I treated myself to the nutcracker box for Christmas for £70 which contained 5 x amaryllis, eucalyptus, berries and greenery. The berries were already falling off into the box upon delivery, the amaryllis were bruised and never opened properly and the eucalyptus was brown and dull. No Christmassy extras in the box like some sparkly twigs or any extra greenery. Absolutely not worth the money. I did get a refund on the 2nd attempt when I called the customer services based in South Africa!!!! Just don’t bother wasting your money. The couriers I must admit are partly to blame as I’m sure they just get thrown around in the back of vans but I have decided enough is enough. It just doesn’t work.

Firstly, please accept our apologies that the Nutcracker arrangement you received wasn't up to scratch with poor quality amaryllis. This is incredibly disappointing to hear and they do not sound up to Freddie’s Flowers standard at all.
We will of course be raising this with our quality control team, along with our logistics team, to look into how the flowers reached you in such poor condition and to ensure this doesn't happen again.
Additionally, it's really disheartening to hear that when you got in touch with us about these quality issues that you received a less than satisfactory response and had to chase up a refund. This certainly isn't the level of service that we aim for here at Freddie's.
We can confirm that a full refund has been issued to you for this order, however we would love to organise something in addition to this by way of an apology from ourselves to make up for this disappointment in both the quality of flowers and service you received.
