Priority Pass is losing value as a lounge entry card. Many lounges put one time paying customers (like in Dublin) ahead of card holders so you show up and cannot get access

Almost the time Priority Pass Lounges are full and require reservations or others memberships like AMEX have preference, Orlando, Houston, Atlanta, Miami, London basically Priority Pass is not a good option, Lounges prefer AMEX
I reserved my visit to the club mdw and was on time only got my table already booked up and barely any seating the good bar was terrible
On a recent trip through LHR T5 I tried to access both lounges in that terminal using PP. I was refused entry at both and asked to join a waiting list - both of which were longer than the wait for my flight. Totally useless!
On my next rip I travelled through FARO and Schiphol, I did get access to the lounge in FARO - it was horrible and the main terminal had better furniture / amenities. At Schiphol again I had to join a wiat list for 30 minutes before getting access, to be fair the lounge was quite nice but it was totally overcrowded.
Basically PP customers are treated like 2nd class citizens - while other walk straight into the lounges - it is ridiculous and I wont be renewing unless this changes.

I’m really disappointed with my experience with Priority Pass. I signed up through my American Express Gold card, which includes 4 complimentary lounge visits and 1 guest pass. When I used the Priority Pass app to book lounge access, it displayed a small “booking fee” of around £6–£10 — at no point did it make clear that my credit card would later be charged the full lounge entry fee.
When I noticed unexpected charges on my Amex statement, I contacted Priority Pass to query them. The representative I spoke to, Mfundo, was rude and dismissive, telling me there would be no follow-up and no feedback given regarding my complaint — even though I was simply trying to understand why I had been charged.
The whole experience has been frustrating and feels incredibly misleading. There is no clear communication about additional charges in the app, and the customer service experience has been unprofessional. I would strongly advise anyone with an Amex-linked Priority Pass to check their statements carefully and be cautious when booking lounges through the app.

I have read the review but I don't travel that often. LGW is where I normally travel from can be a problem there are two lounges that I know. Never had a problem overseas.
Safe travels

The Lounges in South Korea were excellent! Skyhub and Matina were both well stocked with good food, staffed well, and comfortable seating.

The app lists all of the lounges in the airport, except when I go to access one im told there's only one lounge in the entire airport that accepts Priority Pass. And lo and behold its the lounge with 2/5 on Google and 50 people waiting outside as the lounge is full. Absolute waste of time, I get my memembership free and I still would never try snd use it again.

When you know lounges here in the UK block off time slots and close off pre bookings to priority pass holder for full paying direct clients instead but on the day you still try and can’t get in and they say it’s full, what’s the point of having the card?
In the UK, entrance to a lounge is just a gamble, no guarantee what so ever and even when you try and pre-book months in advance it’s just got worse and worse.
Never have a problem when using the card abroad.
My card is locked when Priority pass want to charge me for bringing a guest. So I emailed them after I unlocked my card to proceed for payment but until now it’s not done and my access to priority pass has been blocked as payment is not received. I m ready to pay but no one collects it. Very poor service
If I could give zero stars I would. They couldn't find my reservation on my first reservation and told me I needed to talk to Shop, their credit card acceptance service, to get the refund. Shop told me I would have to talk to them. Finally, I went to my credit card company to dispute the charges so I wouldn't have to deal with them anymore. On my second reservation, we changed our trip plans due to weather. When I called to cancel the reservations, they told me that under condition 16 of the terms and conditions, they would not refund the reservation. I get that I should have read the terms but it is ludicrous that a travel comapany wouldn't allow you to cancel your reservations when your plans change. This membership is worth less than what I paid for it and I got it for free from Capital One.

Priority Pass charge to pre book, charge again when you enter and the lounge charge you their own fees.
When something goes wrong, like no food being available, Priority Pass say it is nothing to do with them and refuse to help.
2 people entering a pre booked lounge at Heathrow cost £90 and no food was available.
Alot of "over crowding" at lounges making you join a "waiting list" to enter. Still have quite a few airports without lounges and the ones that do have lounges tend to be in remote areas. Getting ready to change the access rules to allow only the primary cardholder in at no charge which is also a problem. Been in other lounges that are friendlier and offer more benefits.

There is only a few places I can go in and also depend on if is domestic flight or international flight, I think what k paid is not worth it cause seems like many things has to aligned for me to go to one lounge
I travel EVERY WEEK so I tough to could use this in every flight and is not the case

When I first started using Priority Pass a couple of years ago, I had a great experience. However, over time, the program has steadily lost its value.
Several lounges I used to frequent are no longer part of the network. Many that remain are poor quality, for example, the lounges in San Diego, Aruba, and Cabo San Lucas airports have terrible food and long wait times.
Some lounges have also started putting restrictions on Priority Pass users. For instance, during a recent trip to Houston, both lounges in Terminal D were unavailable to Priority Pass members during certain hours, unfortunately, the exact hours we were there.
Priority Pass used to offer credit for takeout food at some airports, which was a nice perk, but that benefit seems to have disappeared as well.
At this point, I’m not sure it’s worth keeping the membership anymore.

Dated facilities and marginal food. Always a line and non-clean environment.

Difficult to get into many lounges.
Lounges are at some of the airports I travel to but not in the terminal i am flying into or out of, so I still can't take advantage of them.

There are clubs that are very good like Istanbul & Hong Kong and there are clubs that you can not even get in as they prioritize other people like Schiphol or sometimes at Atlanta.

Bought a membership after getting an AMEX Card.
First time user. Made reservation for a flight out of Calgary for myself and a friend. Then paid for the entry to the lounge. Everything looked nice when we entered but all the hot breakfast items were COLD.
The Coffee was good.
So basically should have just ate at a fast food place in the Airport. Not worth the money if the food is not
up to PAR.

I admit i was apprehensive reading comments here about not getting into the lounge at all. On my first experience in Heathrow last week - the lodge was full and i could not get in. BUT ..... - and i dont think the pass information makes this clear - you can log into a waiting list and the lounge recalls you when they have a space. I got recalled after just a 15 minute wait. Once in it a was a good experience. I cannot see in the information what it costs to actually make a booking - Can PP reply here please.

I recently flew through the San Diego airport. The lounge listed on the Priority Pass (Chase Sapphire) was not accepting anyone other than cardholders, but the Chase representative directed me to another Priority Pass lounge that was actually closer to my gate.
In general, we've been able to get Priority Pass lounge access with no problems.
