Disappointing Experience at Vienna Airport Lounge

I’m an Amex Platinum cardholder and visited the Vienna Airport Lounge on 29th September 2025 around 9am with my wife and my 14-year-old son.

We had to wait in a queue for around 20 minutes before being allowed in, and once inside, there were no seats available. The only space left was a small office-style room, where we had to sit at a desk — hardly a comfortable or premium environment.

To make matters worse, I had to pay €30 each for my two guests (€60 in total), which made the experience feel even more disappointing considering the very basic food options and overcrowded conditions.

It was quite embarrassing in front of my family, and overall, the visit felt more like being herded through a process than enjoying a premium lounge. For the level of service and comfort expected from an Amex Platinum experience, this fell well short.

Honestly, we would have been better off sitting in the main terminal area.

Our on-demand service allows you to access the lounge if there’s space available. Some lounges also offer pre-booking for a small fee, but to avoid overcrowding, lounges can open waitlists or deny access at times. Lounge access charges depend on the type of membership you have. For example, if your membership only includes free visits for yourself, additional guest visits are charged at €30 per person, which is our standard lounge access fee. The choice of refreshments and facilities is entirely at the lounge's discretion and can vary from lounge to lounge and seasonally. Very Good Support and Solid Product

As a web design agency, JUCRA Digital, technical support for my own clients is super important in that it's fast and accurate. With DIVI (Elegant themes) I don't need support very often but when I do I need resolutions fast and being a DIVI customer since 2017 I have raised 4 tickets and each of those tickets was handled fabulously within a short period of time, usually over chat and the issue was always some conflicting plugin. For anyone saying the support is poor, most likely reason is they are not providing all the information that the DIVI team needs to resolve the issue. A bad workman always blames his tools. But from me a big thumbs up!
