Awful experience with Parkonomy and Link Parking

Awful experience with Parkonomy and Link Parking.
Parked with my two young children, tried to use the app several times and an error kept coming up. Decided to get the children out as we were meant to be going for a Mother’s Day meal, and as soon as we sat down (within 15 metres of the car) I tried again. Tried different cards. Tried calling the helpline, which was cutting me off.
When I went back to the car to move it, I had been fined. I tried to appeal. I attached screenshots of the errors, explained what was happening with the calls, told them I had two young children, showed them an email from Parkonomy stating there was something wrong with my account, but they denied the appeal.

If the system doesn’t work, for what looks like many people, bring back coins and contactless payments. I for one will not be using any of these car parks again.

Pure theft

Pure theft. This company is stealing poor hard working peoples' money and leaving children without food. I parked my van in font of the property where I was unloading heavy material and told the traffic warden what I was doing but he still fined me. These are thieves and won't even consider your plea in an appeal. The appeal is just an excuse so they can give you penalty charge notice and tell you that you can appeal it later which is wasting even more of your time and they don't give a f*** about your appeal anyway. They are here to take money from you (which result in my children have less food on the table). What a great country to be working hard in and trying to provide for your children.

I received an overdue pcn for a parking…

I received an overdue pcn for a parking charge on a date I was out of the country, my vehicle was outside my house.
When looked into the pcn the vehicle images and registration are not mine , so whoever did the ticket can’t read.
Obviously sent email showing this evidence waiting for them to get back to me . What a sham the authorities should investigate this company as it seem corrupt , should check all images of vehicles and VRN before sending out fines to innocent people , scandalous,

Link Parking Liars

They are a bunch of liars, I was fined on the 30th of May while moving my son into his new flat even though he had contacted Link Parking to register the van. I received the fine today 21.7.25 (£100) and was told that if I had paid the charge within 14 days it would have cost £60 and that they had left a parking ticket on the van, there was no parking ticket on the van, so they are a bunch of thieving liars.

Parked in my own parking spot

Parked in my own parking spot and this scumbag company ticketed my hire car. I thought it could be because I’ve recently had a courtesy car due to my car being written off, but it looks like these scam artists just fine any car they see.

They have illegally ticketed the car and now they caused an issue with any potential visitors using the visitors spots in the car park. Waiting to hear back from the appeal I’ve put in however, if the rest of the reviews are anything to go by, I’ll be taking this to court

Inhumane approach from linkparking

Genuine mistake - forgot to pay immediately, came back in 15 minutes and paid for 2 hours, and was fined. Tried to appeal explaining that this was a mistake and reasons behind - no apology was accepted. No humanity/sympathy at all, and no respect that parking was paid

fined me for parking outside my own home

fined me for parking outside my own flat and there's no signs to dictate private parking. happy to go to court for this.
ticket ref 89225
edit: They refused my appeal and want payment in full which is against not only their own terms but as by law i should be offered discounted price as stated in their own terms.
this company have no integrity and fined me for parking on residential parking bays when i am a resident. the signs located on sight have a number that's no longer in service. disgusting cowboys and my housing association is getting involved. if that does not work ill see them in court happliy.

These people are thieves

These people are thieves, plain and simple.
I went to view an apartment to buy and within 5 minutes of the viewing they charged me a parking fine on that property. Explained I was doing a viewing and they never considered cancelling. The real estate agent got on as well.
Needless to say I want to have nothing to do with a property that uses them. Imagine a friend stops by your house for a while and you need to be paying everyone's ticket.
They ruin relations and property values. Do not use.

They issued me a ticket when the sign is illegible.

They issued me a ticket when the sign was unreadable and faded away. I appealed, but they rejected it. I have a photo proof of the sign, which is completely illegible. British Parking Association and who ever approves of these parking companies and sites should investigate matters like this especially when the signs just white and not readable. This is daylight robbery.

This is scam

This is scam. I have been sent a fake parking ticket from Link parking.

Unfortunately I didn't realised that this was a scam and engaged with the company providing further information and my personal details.

I have now reported the company to the policy and national fraud and cyber agency.

Do not engage with them and report to national fraud and police!

Anyone who’d like to complain about…

Anyone who’d like to complain about Link Parking’s mis conduct the process is this:

You have to make a formal complaint to
Link Parking, PO Box 36, Martock, Somerset, TA12 6WL
They have an email address but I can’t put on here.

If you are not happy with the outcome, you can make an account and complain via their accreditors website IPC (International Parking Community).

If still not happy you can take to Trading Standards or the ombudsman.

It’ll also be worth finding out who the land owners are where they operate and send them a complaint also.

The more complaints the accreditors and land owners receive, the more they’ll have to take it seriously and investigate. With any luck they’ll lose their contracts because they need shutting down entirely.

THEY ARE CON ARTISTS

I hope this helps others pursue complaints against this awful company.

I have never in my life received such awful customer service. Called to question why my PCN had been sent to Debt collectors, having never received a response and I was met with verbal abuse by the ‘manager’. Refused to give me his name, but assured me ALL calls were recorded. Then tried to gaslight me in claiming I was rude first (which absolutely did not happen). Didn’t know my name or details but was absolutely sure that debt collectors would have all evidence to obtain money. How would they know without looking into my PCN number or anything?

Have spoken to other residents in my area who have appealed, had no reply but they get debt collection letters months later. As well as other scrupulous behaviour from this company, including receiving tickets when parked in their own bays, tickets outside of restriction times and rude, aggressive and dismissive behaviour from their call centre staff - believed to solely be the owner and his wife.

Made a formal complaint in writing and made a Subject Access Request to have the recordings sent to me. Funny enough, I received a response to my complaints letter, just not to my appeal.
The reply to my complaint was one sentence ‘We do not record all calls therefore do not have the calls you stated were made’
No acknowledgment whatsoever of my complaint about the rude service of received.

How convenient!

But I’m not stopping there, they messed with the wrong person.

Absolutely Shocking!

Absolutely Shocking!

I received a fine today at 6:15 am from this company for parking in my own parking space. This is completely absurd.

I sent an appeal, but I have not received a response. The car is registered to my address, I am the only driver, and the car is taxed at the address they issued the fine to. I even provided a picture as proof.

This is incredibly unprofessional and unethical. However, when they need to fine other people, they don't.

Unfair Parking Charges and Poor Customer Service

I am incredibly disappointed with the service provided by Link Parking Limited. As a resident paying £1,300 per month for my apartment, which includes access to a designated parking space, I have repeatedly found myself without a place to park due to their poor management of parking permits. Despite clearly paying for a space, I’ve received multiple Parking Charge Notices (PCNs) simply because there were no available slots.

I appealed these charges, providing evidence that all spaces were occupied, leaving me with no choice but to park on the roadside. Shockingly, my appeals were rejected without any proper consideration of my circumstances. Even today (13/11/2024), I received yet another penalty for parking on the road due to a lack of available spaces.

The parking management is highly disorganized, issuing more permits than there are spaces available, which leaves residents like myself constantly struggling to park. This has caused me significant stress, especially when the penalties are due to no fault of my own.

What’s worse, when I tried to resolve this issue with them, their customer service was unhelpful and dismissive. I have also noticed that many others have faced similar issues, as evidenced by the numerous negative reviews here.

If you are considering using Link Parking Limited’s services, beware. Their practices are unfair, and their customer service is appalling. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere to avoid the frustration and financial penalties that come with dealing with this company.

Verdict: Unfair charges, poor management, and terrible customer service. I highly recommend avoiding Link Parking Limited.

I went to visit my friend

I went to visit my friend, as he is sick can't come down and give me the parking permit, I went upstairs to get the permit, within 5 minutes of time we saw through the window, someone start to take the pictures and we call them to stop and told them that am bringing the permit, but he refuse to do that , and he print the ticket. After that I send an appeal for that and I call them, very bad attitude of the person who attended the call . Appeal refused and now I have to pay, link parking is looting. Very bad experience and even it happened after 9pm dark.
