Day Light Robbery
Booked car parking via Ringo, unfortunately the car we were going to take is in the garage now so asked to change the car registration, was told to submit a new request and then request a refund for previous purchase. Now ive booked again they are telling me they dont do refunds. How since I still need and have paid for parking they will send me a cheque as they dont do bank transfer and there's £10 admin charge. Absolutely disgraceful and shouldn't be allowed to operate, day light robbery.
Premier Parking Solutions - Parking Scam
I am at the very beginning of my adventure with PPS, an adventure that I see from social media reports continues to haunt many other people who have been caught by this scam; let's call it what it is.
In May, I visited Hope Cove. Parked my car, bought a ticket using my bank debit card (my phone did not have a signal to use the alternative Ringo app). Some weeks later, the Parking Charge Notice (PCN) arrived from PPS together with timed photographs of my car entering and leaving the car park. I was not unduly concerned as I have bank statement evidence of my payment to PPS at the associated time and date. I was somewhat aghast when PPS turned down my quite reasonable appeal citing that I did not display a correct ticket and cannot now produce it in evidence. As there was a delay of almost a month between parking and the PCN, it is not unreasonable that I no longer have the ticket. Interestingly, PPS cannot provide evidence that I did not display a correct ticket (despite me asking) as they did not send a picture of my dashboard. My other piece of research revealed that a ticket will not be produced by the machine nor payment taken UNLESS and until a vehicle registration number is entered. The evidence of my payment, therefore, must prove that the other steps in the process were followed correctly. PPS refused to accept any of these points, in fact they just ignored them.
I am now taking my appeal to arbitration. In some respects, I hope that arbitration will find in favour of PPS as I am really looking forward to my day in court.
PPS how do they get away with it
Couldn't pay by Ringo got back in the car & drove off. A couple of weeks later got a threatening letter for £60 for 10 mins in the car park The appeal & payment numbers don't work to get you fined more. Also give my bank all their bank details & they refused payment & called it a scam

Hope cove carpark, parked here for just over an hour, paid cash for parking, when got home recieved a 100 pound fine paid with 14 days 60 pounds, absolutely discusted as we had thrown ticket away , we paid to park for 2 hours parking by cash and placed ticket in our car on display Do not park here as you get fine even though paid cash to park. Pps parking company should be ashamed of themselves

I have called PPS to pay by phone but you have to leave a message for someone to return my call. No one has responded.
total hairy ball sacks
Just received a ticket for parking where machine not working and no signal for app or cash accepted. along with others probably at the same carpark. Bovis sands no means of appealing working.
Perhaps the owners of the carparks should stop using companies like these, charge notice A5681320
PPS Operators
PPS control the parking where I live. In fifteen years I have never seen them here or anyone receiving a parking ticket. The parking which is for permit holders is on a fist come basis and forces people to park a distance away from where they live. PPS are apparently supposed to monitor the parking on a weekly basis however Christmas comes round more often than PPS. I refer to companies like this as operators. They're looking to make money not provide a service
100 pounds for a parking infringement…
100 pounds for a parking infringement is just ludicrous. In a carpark I use every day. No way of appealing online. A total scam. Companies like these need to be stopped, the world would be a better place without them. End of!
Not wishing all that work at premier…
Not wishing all that work at premier parking a merry Christmas and I hope they all have a bad new year
Cockroaches of society
Another unjustified fine in Mevagissey
I parked in Mevagissey in October and paid cash for a ticket. Nonetheless I received a parking fine from PPS. Initially I couldn't find the ticket for proof of payment so reluctantly decided to pay the reduced rate of £60. I later found the ticket and contacted PPS but they have referred me to the small print which says the £60 payment now precludes me from making an appeal. So I have proof of payment but no avenue to progress this. What a thoroughly immoral operation this is! They shouldn't have issued this fine in the first place. Either their machines are faulty or this is a scam!
Another one for Hope Cove
Another one for Hope Cove ! I purchased a ticket but was sent a fine. Appealed and sent evidence of ticket, but still asked to pay fine because I hadn't entered registration correctly. I was never prompted by the machine to enter a reg, but it still issued me a ticket.
Have absolutely no intention of paying
Parked in Hope Cove on 29/6/24
Parked in Hope Cove on 29/6/24, and currently PPS demanding £170, saying no trace of payment. My creditcard statement shows that I paid the corrct amount. Please see "Hope Cove parking issues group" on Facebook, where recent victims are collectively looking to get evidence of (a) date of parking, and (b) what car registration details PPS say were recorded by their faulty machines. Add your info asap
PPS and their partners in crime BW legal
PPS and their partners in crime BW legal are greedy, deceitful con artists
Don't pay them !
We parked in Mevagissey PPS car park june and purchased a ticket for 4 hours, we entered our registration number into the machine but unbeknown to us it only showed the first 2 letters of our registration number, luckily we did photograph the ticket so that we were sure of the time our ticket expired
Our fine for £70 was awaiting us on our return home from what was a lovely holiday, showing photos of us entering and leaving the car park and saying they had no record of us paying. My bank account showed the transaction and the time, PPS said this was insufficient, even though the VAT number on my transaction matches the one on the letter I received from them
I have forwarded the photo of the ticket to no avail
After hours of communicating with PPS and BW legal we now owe £170 !
I have no intention of paying this money, someone is making a lot of money out of innocent car park users and they should be stopped
SO DO NOT PAY THEIR FINES AND DEFINATELY DO NOT PARK IN THEIR CAR PARKS
WITH A BIT OF LUCK THEY MAY GO BANKRUPT !
Untrustworthy and Unfair
Parked and paid in full in Devon but they have issued a penalty notice!
They do not provide any contact phone number. They have old payment machine! They stress customers' for no reason. Local authority must question them for troubling public!
Stop paying them for unfair reason but put complaint for cheating, if the parking charge was paid.
Keep your printed ticket - do not put in bin.
I parked in a car park in Devon and…
I parked in a car park in Devon and paid for two hours. I had my two toddlers with me and was under stress to update the RingGo app, collect our belongings and keep my children safe whilst trying to exit the carpark. As a result I accidentally put in the wrong car registration.
When I received the notice I admitted my mistake and asked for some understanding given the situation. I also sent them the receipt showing that I had paid (albeit for the wrong car).
I received a very rude letter from a Mr Oliver Taylor (appeals manager) explaining that if I couldn’t abide by the terms and conditions then I should have parked elsewhere.
The passive-aggressive tone of the letter, implying I’m an idiot who actively sought to avoid paying was disrespectful and rude.
I hope that if they are ever in need of some understanding/empathy, it’ll make them realise to be kinder to others.
Warning,
Warning! Do not pay these scammers if you receive a penalty charge notice. They operate faulty machines which even if you attempt to enter your full reg will prevent you doing so. We parked in Mevagissey in Cornwall and left the car park well before our ticket expired, I still received a penalty charge notice for £100 because the session expired. From similar experiences, you will receive a few aggressive reminders to pay but eventually they will desist. If they ever did take anyone to court, which is highly unlikely, their company would be exposed for the scam it is. If you fall foul of these vultures please report them to Trading Standards. I would give them -5 stars if it was an option.
Premier parking solutions have no sympathy even though I did pay for ticket!!!!
I bought a ticket for the Hope cove car park in Devon, left before it expired, BUT because when my daughter entered the reg of the car, she didn't put ALL the reg in by MISTAKE, ive had a £60 letter.
So I appealed I even still had the ticket which shows I PAID and they STILL fine me!!!!
Really, mistakes happen but we actually DID PAY!!!
Legal theft
Was over the time allowed by 42 minutes (my fault which I admitted - not sur ewhy it happened) but received a £60 fine. I think this was excessive so offered £30 as my error. Told constantly there was no evidence of payment. I sent my bank statement to prove I had paid (for an hour). I assume I made a mistake putting correct reg in but very bright sunny day and couldnt see the screen clearly so my second error (however I have an Irish number plate so pretty obvious which car was mine.
Lost appeal surprisingly so gone to BW Legal who have raised it to £170. Not sure whether to pay or fight. Prefer to fight as this is simply extortion/theft as no justification for such high charges but do not want car clamped then charged £400 to remove.
Have written to Plymouth City Council to report them and encourage them to revoke their license and others should do the same.
Why do these parking parasites exist?
Parked in one of their car parks in Devon, paid the full fee, left on time, then got a £100 'fine' for 'breach of contract'!. Apparently I hadn't entered my registration number completely in the parking machine. See them in court.
To anyone who gets a ticket from these…
To anyone who gets a ticket from these donuts. They must follow BPA rules giving a 10-minute grace period, do make yourself familiar with BPA rules as they may save you. DO NOT PAY THE TICKET INSTANTLY, their evidence will not hold up in court if they even proceed to do so as it will be more expensive than to get £100 off you. Find as much about the company as they are simple clowns playing on time and impatience or fear from whom they try to fine. Worst that can happen you lose £40 more to the first penalty of £60.
They do not follow legalities and force out fear to receive money. Do everything out of moral rights to not pay and get them shut down.
