One of the worst customer services I have experienced in Denmark in 20 years living here.
I bought and outdoor lamp May 2025. The quality was poor, with uneven paint, and clumps of metallic paint on the surface. I asked to have it returned and have a new one sent. This was refused, so I sent back at my own expense, 90kr postage, clearly stating 14days return right and asking for a refund of the original 600kr. Instead a new lamp was sent to me, in mid July, while I was on holiday. I phoned customer service from abroad, a couple of times, saying I didn’t order the second lamp. I wrote an email. Customer service assured me it was a mistake, and assured me I would at least not get charged for not picking up the lamp. I was, so out of the original 600kr, I personally paid 90kr postage + 70kr fee for not picking up a lamp I had not ordered a second time. Very, very poor

Low cost shop with expensive items
I have to pay for a return shipping around 10€ for a lamp that costs almost 340€. I have to print out all return documents by myself, I have to fill them in. In the end I have less money, I have lost time and I have no lamp.

Defective furniture, non-responsive company
I paid for the order many months in advance, only to receive a product with a manufacturing defect.
After several months of receiving different excuses - somebody is on sick leave, other person doesn't know how to do it, etc. eventually they stopped responding completely.
Terrible people.

An endless chain of broken promises and zero ownership
I purchased a table, four chairs, and a lamp from Jacobsen Møbler in early June. I was told delivery would take 3 weeks. Those 3 weeks passed, only to be told it would take one more week. I waited again — and heard nothing.
From that point on, my entire experience has been an exhausting cycle of me chasing them for answers, being given vague or incorrect information, and then watching those promises fall apart. Every “update” I received turned out to be wrong. At one point, I was even given a specific delivery date, only to have the day come and go with no delivery, no message from the shipping company, and no proactive contact from Jacobsen Møbler.
On every call, I had to remind them what had previously been said, only to be told they “don’t know” the status of my order. I was promised call-backs that never happened. I was told shipments were already packed and on their way — they weren’t. Even now, I’m told the order will only be partly delivered next week (after +2 months of waiting), with no idea when I’ll receive the rest.
Delays happen. I can accept that. But what I can’t accept is repeated false promises, a complete lack of proactive communication, and absolutely no attempt to take responsibility or make things right. This was their chance to turn a delayed delivery into at least a decent customer experience — instead, they’ve made it far worse through inaction and indifference.
I’m left with the strong impression that my order, my time, and my experience as a customer simply do not matter to Jacobsen Møbler. And that is unacceptable.

Never again
As many have pointed out, it takes a long time to receive your order. Added to that, is the fact that as a customer you have absolutely zero transparency and control over your order status. After sending several emails and calling, customer service told me they had no way of knowing when my order would be shipped, since it had been directly ordered to the manufacturer. But they promised to send me an email as soon as it was ready to be shipped. 2 weeks went by and I received a text message on a Monday at 5pm saying my order would be delivered the next morning (less than 24hs notice). I called the courier customer service to try to change the delivery time, since unfortunately I am not rich and have to go to work for a living. Their answer was that the delivery date and time could not be changed and I just had to skip work and stay home to wait for my furniture, ordered 1 month in advance, despite having called to try to arrange the delivery with plenty of time. This is unacceptable customer service. We pay good money for the products and there is a total lack of respect for my time and my life. Get a serious courier, design a nicer website with order tracking, collaborate with your supply chain to give your customers visibility over expected delivery time and then, perhaps, I will shop again.

Absolutely DO NOT recommend buying…
Absolutely DO NOT recommend buying here. Wanted to send back an item that arrived damaged. No reponses to emails for weeks. When we finally got a response they said they CANNOT provide a return label. We were told we need to purchase the return label by ourselves only through GLS. GLS does not provide shipping labels for large furniture to private customers. Trying to reach back to the company to ask if they could purchase it for us through GLS and offering to cover the 50€ shipping label we were turned down. The only option they gave us after 6 weeks of back and forth is to provide a return label only if we agree to a replacement. We are still stuck with the piece with no way of sending it back.

Low quality, high price
Low quality, high price
I'm gonna avoid Jacobsen from now on. After I bought two quite expensive beds, and one completely failed as the leg broke while I was sitting on it, I contacted the company that sold the bed. They got back to me with the answer that there was no fault on the bed and that I maybe had used it wrong (how do you use a bed wrong if you just sleep on it?).
So yeah, avoid Jacobsen since the high price is not matched by quality or service.

The worst service ever with damaged item
The worst service ever. I ordered the chair, it came with multiple scratches. To return damaged item I have to pay by myself for the delivery and also bring the chair somehow to the pick-up point which is impossible with 1 person. The store didn't suggest options of the return other then to pay myself.
