My issue has been ongoing since August. After I previously waited for a refund over 1 month I opted for a gift voucher on my last return. This has never been received via email despite receiving everyother offer email of them. After using the fb chat that always just tells you the same multiple times I received 1 email response that advised the gift card was resent to a different email which was also never received.
Then today I contacted via the chat again to be told that they cannot assist anymore because this issue is over 1 months old. This is only £20 I am owed but that is not the point!!! Absolutely shocked at this kind of customer service

Returned items on the 23/09/2025 , heard nothing until I contacted them on 10/10/2025 on the message service which is a generated AI chat after repeated requests for my refund, it kept saying it was processed and I would receive my refund, nothing happened, so I set up a dispute with PayPal on 21/09/2025 and it’s now in my account. I hope this helps some of you if you paid through PayPal they are so helpful at resolving the issue. I will never shop with Boohoo again terrible customer service.

Swap protect charge added by boohoo
Although I am still waiting for refunds owed to me that were returned 27/9/25 their customer service and refund policy is pathetic! another order with a issue I realised once I received email confirmation that a Swap protect £5.99 was charged never had it added before not even on the order. I placed a month previously. I obviously tried in vain to contact boohoo regarding this I finally had a response, I was told the swap protect is automatically added upon checkout and it’s up to the consumer to realise and untick it! They stated they are unable to refund this amount as I have already received my items. More shocking business tactics from boo-hoo that will be my last order. I’m sure this kind of behaviour will cause their demise.
Can’t process returns properly
I did an order of 4 dresses, 3 black ones and 1 grey one. I returned 2 black dresses and the grey one. I received my return confirmation but they’d refunded me for the wrong black dress, not much money value in it but not the point. I reached out to boohoo to advise them of this. They escalated it further and ‘checked the CCTV’ to see what is returned and they’re still adamant I returned the dress that I didn’t. Either they didn’t check the CCTV, or two black dresses look the same, yet they’re claiming I’m a liar. As I said I’m not worried about the £2 difference - keep it. It’s the principle of making out their customers are liars!

Until 21st October and I messaged again and they just never bothered to get in contact I have also emailed the customer service email in their T&Cs twice but this has just been ignored.
I gave clothes to the charity shop to make room for all of my new jumpers and now have no jumpers and money to buy any new ones.
I’m extremely disappointed and have NEVER received such appalling customer service from an online retailer in my life.

I have been waiting over two weeks for a refund, I have chased this multiple times and start my getting an AI response.. impossible to speak to an actual customer service team. Just want my money back!

SO many dissatisfied customers, and I'm another one! I should have had a refund to my original payment method, but Boohoo issued me a gift card instead. I'm really cross that they are getting away with treating their customers so badly. Last time I use this company!
Refund rejected for returned items – stuck between Boohoo and Quiz!
I ordered two pairs of shoes from Boohoo, which were delivered by Quiz. I returned both pairs directly to Quiz, as instructed, since I had ordered multiple options. I also entered all the return details into Klarna.
Now, over a month later, I’ve been told that my refund was rejected and that I still have to pay for shoes I don’t even have. This is completely unacceptable. I ordered through Boohoo, but because the items were fulfilled by Quiz, I’m now caught in the middle with no refund and no help from either company.
This situation is beyond frustrating I’ve done everything correctly, and yet I’m being penalised for something that’s clearly a mix-up between Boohoo, Quiz, and Klarna. I’d like this resolved urgently and my refund processed as it should have been weeks ago.

0 stars not available. This is probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Long delays in responding, repeat requests for information already provided - don't know if bot responses, but either way useless and clearly dekay tactics. Problem is gift voucher code is wrong (they changed the format), but getting a replacement is impossible.

Would give 0 if an option. Parcel delivered on 09/10/25 and item was missing from my order. Got in touch straight away and was advised that customer service would be in touch. A week later still no response. Returned my items and added the missing item on there explaining again situation. Nearly 3 weeks later I got in touch with the ridiculous AI bot who confirms all refunds are processing apart from the missing item?!?? Again passed to CS as this was missing (still!) and shock still not received a response. So in total I am still waiting for refunds for item not fulfilled by boohoo, not sent my boohoo and my returned items. CS was SO much bette even there was a live chat option and actual responses on social media and emails instead of being directed to an AI bot and CS that seems to not exist. I need a refund for my missing item ASAP.

Clearly some sort of scam going on with refunds. I wanted an ordinary refund and have only been given the option for a gift card +10% of the order value despite still having 2 weeks left to return. It says there’s the option to choose but I wasn’t given that and of course they have no number, the ‘customer services’ is the same automated responses across all platforms. Over 3 days ago now I was told that an agent would be in touch and I’ve heard nothing and won’t get any further responses from the chat bots. I don’t particularly want a gift card given this experience but it looks like I have no choice. I’m assuming they do this to avoid cash refunds and force you to spend on their site. Would not recommend at all - don’t waste your money because on the off chance you need to return it, you won’t get it back!

Boohoo has gone completely downhill. I have ordered many times before with no issue. I order 3 items. One being a marketplace dress. 2 of my items have still not arrived, despite paying next day delivery. It has been 2 weeks since it was meant to arrive. Boohoo claim it has been handed to someone, yet the delivered photo shows them left on a floor somewhere! Boohoo still claim they were handed to someone. They take 4+ days to respond just to say the same thing. Im taking this further. Will never order from them again

Placed a large order for an event with different outfit options via klarna which didn't arrive via the courier company,had been in constant communication with boohoo regarding this and was told that as of 28/09 the parcel was considered 'lost' had to agree however that should the order arrive at a later stage i would return which I agreed to do, no refund given at this stage.
Parcel arrived and I went straight on to process return label so I could send back, a glitch in boohoo system froze the initial order return page and when I logged back in to my order it was saying refund via gift card!! immediately went no further and contacted boohoo on all of their communication platforms as there was no option to amend this to my original payment method. I had not chosen items to return, courier method nor generated a returns label
2 days later boohoo contacted to say the order would immediately be refunded to giftcard and they were unable to amend this, Klarna is aware of all issues and say they will investigate. Boohoo have not responded since to any of my emails etc and will not change this, had I completed the returns process and generated a label I could maybe understand but I had not and this is absolutely ridiculous that boohoo is unable to reset the order for me to allow me to refund to my original payment method which is all I want to do!

Absolutely shocking/non existent customer service. I have contacted on all platforms multiple times and no reply apart from an ‘AI’ response which was no help. They haven’t refunded me for an item on my order which cost £76 The most expensive item on order.. funny that! I will never be shopping at boohoo again. Since I paid through Klarna I have had to pay for a dress that I returned or I would get charged a late payment fee from Klarna, as boohoo said they ‘closed the case’ and all items had been refunded which they haven’t! Avoid!!!

what is happening to Boohoo still waiting refunds for 2 items 3 weeks after being received by Boohoo . Ordered an item 7 days ago and still saying in progress. Ordered an item it came up with error message when ive checked the same item has ordered twice and payment has been taken twice. Getting nowhere trying to chase things up. Never had issues before until the last few weeks.Getting no where with the awful customer services.

Not the same as use to be! Same as others have mentioned, returned one item over a month ago and still no refund! AI chat is waste time and no one replies to emails. I will never order from them again!!!

Boohoo the service is non exsistance, waiting ove 3 weeks for refund ,keep saying it’s in process😡. It’s gone to pot. Keeping everyone’s money not right If idont get my refund will be going to trade & standard. I won’t be buying from them anymore and will be telling friends the same.
