Always a positive experience

I have always had a positive experience at Bupa Dental. Efficient reception team. The gentlest hygenist I have ever met. The dentist explains everything clearly and does not do things just for the sake of it or to make extra money. Dental nurses friendly and efficient. The whole staff team have a lovely, calm demeanour. The practice is clean, tidy and comfortable.

Late delivery

I ordered a birthday card to be sent to Australia - I ordered it over 6 weeks in advance and gave a specific delivery date. It arrived 6 days late. I contacted customer support after 4 days and I was offered a full refund, a credit or for it to be resent. I chose the latter but 2 days later the original arrived. So 2 cards sent - the customer service team dealt with my query promptly. This is the first time I have had a problem and I have used Moonpig many times. I have been asked to review on this particular experience hence 3 stars. All previous experiences have warranted a full 5 stars!

Very quick with quote

Very quick with quote (almost immediately) and a good rate too. Money wasn't so prompt though, it took about 18 hours but it was still problem free. No complicated forms, no request for documents - just simple and straightforward!

Lots of options to choose from. My choice was for a birthday gift and the recipient was thrilled. It was a beautiful bouquet, exactly as described and very good value. Delivered on my chosen delivery date and I received regular tracking updates. Highly recommend!

Very efficient service and very easy to deal with

I logged an issue with our waste water online in the morning - by early afternoon an engineer was in attendance. Constant updates in regards to what time he would arrive. Issue dealt with swiftly with very clear explanation to myself and my neighbour. Very efficient service. I have always found Anglian Water to be very easy to deal with

Really easy to navigate the website and my car insurance quote was very quick to do. Great options and exceptionally competitive prices. Got like for like cover and half the price of my existing provider! Documents available within minutes. Great all round service. Very happy!

Happy with previous purchases but not this one!

I have bought several items from OF in the past and been very happy with them - these were all items which were in one piece rather than pieces which needed to be put together. This time round I bought a triple wardrobe (rustic oak) and it had to be put together which was not easy but got it sorted and it looked great. Unfortunately the hanging rail in the double wardrobe started to sag in the middle within a day, sagging to the point of looking as though it would break. I completed the online form and sent photos as requested - to date I have had no response. I have tried to call and nobody wants to help. The rail got so bad I had to get a new chrome one fitted (at a cost). This wardrobe was not cheap (£1100) but in my opinion is not worth the money. Granted it looks lovely but the doors are stiff as are the drawers despite waxing them. The rail issue has been a nightmare. OF are not one bit interested. I will not be buying from them again!

Issues since the latest update

I agreed to the latest Samsung update on my A12. Ever since when I attempt to switch on the eye comfort shield, it switches on my location. So annoying! It seems with every update there is an issue. As soon as one issue gets 'fixed' there is a new one!

Absolutely brilliant! Easy to order and lots of options. Very swift delivery and good customer service. Superb bed (+ 4 drawers) headboard and mattress. Very happy and highly recommend. My order was delivered within 48 hours!

Still haven't received my blinds!!

I wish I could review my blinds but I can't because I haven't received them. For whatever reason Unbeatable Blinds choose to use XPD as their courier - why!? I cannot get hold of XPD and Unbeatable Blinds said they would chase it for me but to date I have not had an update or my blinds. Made to measure at a cost of over £200, they have my money but I have no blinds. Nobody is in a hurry to sort this out for me. Why one earth a company are willing to destroy their own reputation by using a completely shambolic delivery company is beyond me. If I ever get these blinds, it doesn't matter how good they are, if Unbeatable Blinds continue to use XPD (for which we as customers pay for) I will never order from them again or recommend them. Absolutely ridiculous state of affairs!

'Delivery attempt failed' - no deivery attempt was made!!

Item due to be delivered yesterday. Sent me a notification 2 hours before delivery time they had given me to say delivery attempt failed. I was in and sat in a room at the front of the house so would have seen if they had attempted a delivery. They did not. The photo of their 'attempted delivery' was not even my street, leave alone my house. When I called them, the phone rings then a message says 'customer service menu' then just disconnects. I completed an online form which would not send. I tried the live chat but that doesn't load. I emailed but that was returned because their inbox is full. What an absolute shambles!

Avoid Bensons for Beds if you are hoping they will deliver your bed when they say they will!

Bought a (very expensive) bed, headboard and mattress in the Aylesbury store. Cannot fault the sales side, absolutely brilliant. Booked (and paid for) delivery day of choice to cooincide with house move. Day of delivery arrives and 30 minutes before they are due, get a text to say cannot deliver! Said they would be in touch within 24 hours to rearrange. They made no contact at all. I called the Aylesbury store and was told they would see what they could find out and call me back. They didn't. I called again and the phone just rang and rang, no answer (most likely other customers in the same situation as me) I persisted and eventually got through. Earliest 'suggested but not guaranteed' delivery was 10 days away. So I cancelled the order. A manager had to call me to ask the ridiculous question of why I wasn't happy before they would issue a refund! Refund was reluctantly issued and I have purchased a bed elsewhere with 2 day delivery! In the menatime, I emailed customer services to lodge a complaint and they responded saying I had not given enough information for them to look into it. I would expect my name, address, order number and reason for complaint would be enough but it seems it isn't and the complaint cannot be looked into. I will never, ever set foot inside a Bensons for Bed store again or look at any of their products online. Absolutely appalling way to treat paying customers!

Great in store experience but terrible delivery, or rather lack of it!

My previous review based on my in store experience was 5 stars - purchasing my bed was straightforward and the staff in store extremely helpful. Now I come to review on delivery - um, what delivery!? My (very expensive) bed and mattress was due to be delivered yesterday (I paid for my chosen delivery date) ready for us to use in our new home, having just moved. Late yesterday morning on the day of delivery, I received a text to say delivery could not be made - no explanation. I only got an update because I, as in myself, rang the store - otherwise I would still be waiting to know what is going on. They have 'operational issues' and the delivery would now be next week - no offer of compensation for inconvenience and no definite delivery date either. Appalling service. I emailed a complaint and instructions to cancel the order and received a reply saying they could not deal with it as I hadn't given enough information. My name, address and order number I would have expected to be sufficient. Attempted to call the store again and now there is no answer - I assume due to other angry customers talking to the staff. So no bed, no alternative delivery date and now no refund! I would not recommend Bensons for Beds in terms of delivery and/or a request for a refund.

Bt engineer came into my home but disappeared and claimed we weren't in!

Previously had no problems with Sky Tv or broadband but just moved home and Sky arranged a Bt engineer to come and assist with the connection in our new home. Engineer duly arrived, looked at the telephone point etc and said we needed something or other doing (not quite sure what), he accepted coffee and then said he was going to look outside - next thing his empty cup was on the side in the kitchen and I didn't see him again. When the Sky engineer came the next day to install our new dish and get the Tv up and running, I told him what happened, he made some enquiries and the Bt engineer claims we weren't in! He obviously decided the job was too much like hard work - and now they can't fit us in for another week. Appalling!

Two lovely men came to move us. We went for the furniture only option which worked well for us. From quote to completion of move was very efficient and stress free. The two men were so pleasant, extremely hard working, respectful of property and belongings - superb all round service.

Very poorly organised and not what we paid for

Booked and paid for truck experience 7 months in advance. Promoted on website and voucher purchased was for 2 trucks - 1 'American movie truck' and 1 artic and trailer. Got there and was told these trucks were not available. The person checking us in was spoken to very sternly by his manager in front of us for 'chatting too much to the customers' One person sent us to another person who sent us to another person. We were then told to stand in a particular place, somebody else came along and said we shouldn't be stood there. In the end what we drove was the transporter which they brought the cars to the track on! Absolutely no organisation whatsoever and no communication regarding the experience we paid for not being available. The supporting driver/instructor was brilliant though and the drive was fun and not rushed. Very disappointing in terms of terribly unorganised, not what was promoted - not even close, the experience we had was not worth the wait and definitely not worth the money. Great instructor though and he was fab
