Disgusting Customer Service
Product excellent, but service was terrible.
Purchased line and spare groundspike. Arrived later that agreed, without groundspike. Tried contacting Hills on their Customer Service line. No response to all my calls. Finally tried e-mail, to receive a reply telling me they did not respond to telephone calls.By this time I was annoyed, and they refused to answer my query (can the hight be reduced to help my 5' wife), finally offering to refund me THE FULL PRICE.
I packaged it securely, got a 3rd party to check all was ok, dispatched it and waited for the refund.
It arrived, £25 light, and the excuses ranged from 'its a return charge' (despite their offer of a full refund and no return charge mentioned on order or invoice) to 'oh, the unit was damaged' (despite a 3rd party confirming it was perfectly packed)
They finally refunded a further £12.50, but this companies Customer Service is disgusting - shame as unit was great.
I am still owed £12.50, and if I could, I would give zero stars.
If there is a parent company, I hope they read this and act to improve Hill's Customer Service
