As other reviewers says,DO NOT BUY OLIGHT! they don't stand behind their own warranty, I first bought their tactical light years ago & the laser beam was messed up it was replaced but same thing happened after a year or so so I just threw it out, I have them a second chance with the recent sale of the baton 4, same garbage, now light won't charge after a single light use, they asked for video proof which I sent, initially they said they would replace the whole unit but changed their mind asked for more videos which I did send them but different people are replying EVERYTIME that do not bother to read previous messages so they keep on asking for a the same thing. NEVER AGAIN!! SPEND A LITTLE MORE MONEY WITH PRODUCTS THAT HAVE BETTER REVIEWS AND COSTUMER SERVICE!! I NEVER HAD THIS ISSUE WITH OTHER NAME BRAND FLASHLIGHTS!!!
Misleading information and zero accountability
13 days ago, I enquired about the availability of the Arkfeld Ultra in either Navy Blue or Black because I own many Olight products (amongst other tactical/EDC gear) in that exact colour scheme.
I was told over the phone that the Arkfeld Ultra (blue) would be back in stock “next week” but that turned out to be completely false.
No update, no product, and eventually I got an email saying it hadn’t even been ordered yet once I reached out again on day 11 of waiting.
For a premium product at this price point, I expect clear and honest communication and the basic ability to buy the colour I actually want. Instead, I got a late, dismissive reply suggesting I buy the green model instead --> "Is de olijf groene kleur geen optie?"
Like, pardon me?! There is perhaps a reason they only have this colour left; nobody wants it, but that is besides the point.
I informed them I'll buy my light(s) elsewhere, especially as they are on average €40 cheaper everywhere else, and that I would be making this 'review'.
No answer to my actual (follow-up- question, no ownership, just wasted time and irritation. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
TL;DR:
Asked about stock for the Arkfeld Ultra (blue/black), was told it'd be back next week. Two weeks later, and still nothing; turns out they never even ordered it. Got a lazy reply pushing an unwanted colour instead.
Great customer service!
I purchased a headtorch 14 months ago and was really impressed with it, until the battery wasn't holding its charge very long. I emailed Olight to ask how to change the battery, with a view to buying a new battery from them to replace it. They told me that it's a sealed unit and has a non-replaceable battery pack. They asked for the model name etc and then informed me that it was no longer available.
The CS rep then went and checked if it was under warranty, which it is, and told me to choose something of a similar value to replace it.
THIS IS REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE! I couldn't be happier with my outcome.
Thank you Olight, you now have a customer for life. Well done!

Just checked out the web site after seeing a promotion. The web site is terrible. It's really annoying to navigate, and just doesn't work properly. None of the knives are UK legal. I'll shop elsewhere.

Customer service does not excist at this company, avoid!
I did not request a refund but received an email saying my request was accepted.
Basically, they sold me the items, took my money, and are now expecting me to accept a refund due to their inability to fulfill my order because they oversold the items.
Why did they not just wait until the items were back in stock? Is it that you can now charge more for them?
Can I expect a refund for the same items I bought after these?
The ones I have paid for but have not received? Or will I receive an email telling me my request for a refund is accepted?
I can see why people dislike this company, when it goes right it is fine but if you need to contact "customer service" you may as well just not bother. They send one reply and then forget all about you.
They do not care about customer service as they only do the job to get free items, so they have no interest in actually doing any work to help the customer.

Placed an order received within 48 working hours. Forgot to sign in when placing the order so missed the opportunity to receive free gift. I emailed them to explain. They sent the free gift separately 24 hours later. Their products are extremely good

sent a used unit that didnt work
they sent me a refurbished unit that did not shine as bright as advertised, had fitment issues. I brought this up in their facebook group and they banned me.

Well after some frustrating wait for reply from Olight, they finally responded. I guess there was a long holiday in China but they should have notified customers with auto response to indicate this. Olight offered to replace the original batteries that had issues, that I had tried to modified but failed. I ended tossing the batteries in the garbage. Olight offered free replacements. I appreciated their effort to correct this situation. I will continue to buy their products as they are very good quality.

Seem to be upping their game
I used to have issues with customer service in the past and shipping taking forever. The past year or so, they seem to have stepped up their game. Customer service has been great, I had a defective item and they are in the process of replacing it. Shipping has also SIGNIFICANTLY sped up. The website mostly works most of the time, but could still use some polish. If you can't get ahold of olight through email, try live chat. I've found that to be much quicker.
They refuse to honour their warranty.
MISSING ITEMS AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
Though one of the products arrived, they've missed an item from my order and simply WILL NOT respond to any email or anything. There's absolutely no other way to contact them! There is a supposed number I found online but it is a dead number, probably just created for looks, I reckon. Customer service is absolutely shockingly bad, ie, completely non-existent!
You'd better just hope everything is exactly right with your order, or you're in for a nightmare.
After reading other people's reviews, yeah, seems these are a company to dodge really.
Aah well, I've paid with PayPal, so I'll get my money back.
Bought 4 flashlights on one of their…
Bought 4 flashlights on one of their sales. One did not work. Blamed me somehow. Would not replace. They sent me a replacement battery, still did not work. Sent me another replacement battery, it also did not work. Finally they said to send it back, which I thought was for a replacement. But no, they sent me the same one back. Sometimes will charge back up, sometimes will not. Now another one of them that I bought, the most expensive one will not charge up, after only recharging it 3/4 times.
They used to have a phone number, but no longer, email only now.
I will never buy another of anything from them. From now on, PELICAN flashlights only for me.
