Misleading information and zero accountability
13 days ago, I enquired about the availability of the Arkfeld Ultra in either Navy Blue or Black because I own many Olight products (amongst other tactical/EDC gear) in that exact colour scheme.
I was told over the phone that the Arkfeld Ultra (blue) would be back in stock “next week” but that turned out to be completely false.
No update, no product, and eventually I got an email saying it hadn’t even been ordered yet once I reached out again on day 11 of waiting.
For a premium product at this price point, I expect clear and honest communication and the basic ability to buy the colour I actually want. Instead, I got a late, dismissive reply suggesting I buy the green model instead --> "Is de olijf groene kleur geen optie?"
Like, pardon me?! There is perhaps a reason they only have this colour left; nobody wants it, but that is besides the point.
I informed them I'll buy my light(s) elsewhere, especially as they are on average €40 cheaper everywhere else, and that I would be making this 'review'.
No answer to my actual (follow-up- question, no ownership, just wasted time and irritation. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
TL;DR:
Asked about stock for the Arkfeld Ultra (blue/black), was told it'd be back next week. Two weeks later, and still nothing; turns out they never even ordered it. Got a lazy reply pushing an unwanted colour instead.
