Never ever,
Never ever,
They will NOT help you as a buyer when you have not received your order.
They will not sanction sellers who deliberately defraud buyers.
Their money back guarantee is a scam and they have no proper link to it.
You are completely in the hands of luck whether you have received your order or not.
Bad for seller
Bad for seller. Only restriction, abusive conditions. Delete sale listings without reason
The seller did not ship the goods
The seller did not ship the goods, eBay refunded my money, thank you
Very greedy sellers
Very greedy sellers. The shipping is ridiculous and to me it's taking advantage. I have bought collectables but with a very high cost and now wished I hadn't. Avoid ebay at all cost.
Why are they not shut down by the government as a terrorist organization because that's what they are
I was a top rated seller with perfect ratings. EBay is quite adept at using the postal scam complete with tracking and everything. I have 9 years experience as both a buyer and a seller. I recently bought something small just to check it out it says that it's delivered to the post office but hasn't been accepted it's been that way for a week. I have had luck at times with things like bike parts or dart parts or car parts absolutely do not ever ever buy anything expensive. I've had stuff sent to wrong addresses on returns. Usps has a policy of not forwarding returns if it's a wrong address. the addresses themselves proved to be routed through the post office and they're retraceable back to eBay but I was out $300 in product plus the money everything traced back to eBay itself. There were many more instances where I was scammed eBay took the side of the scanner
Found the super saver delivery very…
Found the super saver delivery very very slow which i think is totally wrong, you shouldn't have to wait a couple of weeks!
I have been with Ebay for more than 10 …
I have been with Ebay for more than 10 yrs and have an excellent rating. I sold an item that is no longer available and tried to send the buyer a refund. Both the buyer and myself attempted to get the buyer the refund but, where is shows funds, there are none available. EBAY wants me to add another pay source, even though they have one, its how I get paid and then refund the buyer with my own funds and then get reimbursed. Sounds a bit scammy to me. Why would I need to add another pay source number one? Why can't the transaction simply be cancelled. Time to move away from Ebay if you ask me. Steer clear, buy and list elsewhere. There is no reason they cannot just refund the buyer their money.
Terrible people!
App and site glitches. Policies and help pages aren’t always updated. Their shipping process is a joke. Inaccurate fees, they will steal your money. They say they get a certain percentage and if you calculate it out it doesn’t add up to the correct amounts. Customer service will hang up on you without resolving the issue and they don’t even care, they don’t even pretend to be pleasant. eBay sucks and they take advantage of people.
Seller fees are too much!
I have loved eBay for more than 20 years, for mostly purchases. This month I sold an item for $175.00 and was charged a fee of $32.00 and change. They even charge their percentage fee on the shipping fee which I made no money on. Customer service was a huge waste of time as they were unable to do anything that would bring any satisfaction to the situation; just repeat policy and tell me what I sold. I will still shop there, but will find an another venue to sell items.
The worst customer service ever
The worst customer service ever. I've lost hundred of dollars with undelivered items that customer service reps don't offer any help for. I am constantly flagging counterfeit items, only to received feedback that the items 'don't violate ebay standards'. If that is the case. Ebay unashamedly profits off bootleg products, dishonest sellers and absolutely inappropriate items. The racket continues.
Don't recommend ebay no more!
I got scam by a seller and apparently there is a lot of victims and ebay hasn't done anything to stop this scams. Im just trying to talk to someone over the phone but they just have a a computer answering the phone and there is no way to talk to someone, its so frustrating! Last time using ebay!
Horrible
Horrible
You cannot find a phone number to call them. When you search the web and find one it says closed. You chat with them by chat and they give excuse after excuse why they wont help you then disconnect the chat. You can be asking for a supervisor and they will just say I am the highest person to talk with. Buying from the sellers is fine, just pray you have no issue and need customer support that's when eBay fails
Review
1. Site is not working properly and has poor design and UI bugs
2. A single item tab can reach 1gb in memory usage, contacted support and they said it's per design decision and normal - if thats normal for you that people won't be able to use your service due to constant site crashes, enjoy yourselves (12 year customer by the way, no longer able to use your site)
3. Support is pretty good and knowledgable, positive point which gave you 2 stars instead of 1
4. Fix, facelift your site.. this 1998 UI is pathetic.. feels like the street market of the internet
eBay is by far the worst forum to use…
eBay is by far the worst forum to use to sell items. They are only motivated to get sales at all cost to the buyer. I am speaking firsthand from my experience as a verified seller that was with eBay for many years. eBay automatically assumes you should take as many losses and be happy with it as long as they are getting paid. They overcharge sellers and if buyers choose to leave a bad review or complain whether they’re right or wrong eBay actually charged you more interest for that.
It does not matter how much you pay out for your inventory. eBay does not assume you’re reselling items. They assume that these items are all manufactured by you and they do not care about the losses that you incur. I personally tried every thing in my power to satisfy customers like in a perfect world that would be normal. It’s like the more sales you make the more customers you have to deal with and satisfied when truthfully speaking some people could care less about you and your company. They just want to take advantage and eBay allows there forum to do just that.
eBay also will allow you to open an account just to get your information and then close your account for absolutely no reason even in the very beginning. I am personally seeing this happen to at least five different people and again it’s being done for absolutely no reason and when you go to ask them about it, they do not give you a valid response as long as they got your information it really doesn’t matter to them why they stopped you from doing business on their forum.
I don’t know how many other people have gone through some like this, but I was actually a power seller and eBay felt at the time I could just be taken off of their forum indefinitely due to a few customer complaints. I do believe maybe 20 and almost 2000+ Sales I don’t know who does the recommendations to make someone in eligible to sell after so many complaints but it’s definitely not a fair one and for the taxes that they take from you. It is 100% unfair.
I sincerely believe that eBay should be banned from use in online businesses due to this unfair and biased treatment of sellers.

No way to contact ebay for "guarantee "
I made a purchase for a set of 9 books. Seller only sent one. When contacted, seller directed me to donate the single book received and they would issue a full refund. The refund was never issued. Ebay could still be contacted by phone, but no more. Ebay told me they would contact seller and if my refund was not issued within 3 days the Ebay guarantee would kick in.
Seller contacts me to initiate a return. Twilight zone time. Ebay no longer reachable
To hell with ebay
To hell with ebay. They suspended my account and gave me no reason as to why. I have done nothing but buy things and pay immediately once I purchase. I am completely done with ebay. They are a rip off and treat people unfair. They can take their site and shove it. Will never go back.
No recourse for a scam buyer
I will keep this short. I sold an item on eBay where their system showed the item was in transit for about a month. Buyer requested a refund due to not receiving the item (their words) which I promptly did. Fair is fair right? If you didn't receive your item, you certainly shouldn't have to pay for it. I called eBay to find out why they were charging me excessive fees and double on the shipping. When the item was lost in transit. Their customer service told me that they had access to a different system, and the item was actually delivered, on time. Buyer intentionally used a glitch in the system to his benefit to get a free shipment. eBay refuses to do anything at all and the attitude is basically 'seller beware'. There are too many companies to choose from now and I am removing all listed items in favor of a more customer supportive selling platform. Beware.
Absolutely fucken disgusted
Absolutely fucken disgusted. I reported a scam ebay not doing anything about it. Going to report police if not contacted today
