eBay straight cap
Thought I was gettin a deal, but nah - seller sent me some bootleg junk that looked nothin like the pics. Shipping took forever, tracking was fake news, and when I hit support they hit me back with that “sorry for the inconvenience” copy-paste. Whole thing a scam vibe fr.
eBay out here cappin
Thought I was gettin a deal, but nah - seller sent some fake trash that don’t even match the pics. Shipping took forever, tracking made no sense, and customer service hit me with that “we’ll look into it” nonsense. Straight scam vibes.
I am so disappointed in eBay
I am so disappointed in eBay, I won't use them anymore. First of all, lots of people like me fell victim to gift card scams by foreigners listing bogus ebay customer service numbers via Google. It was really difficult to get someone from ebay to contact me so I could report this problem and when I finally did, they
didn't do anything to compensate me, not evento followup withme like i asked them to. They don't care if you get scammed or if scammers are making them look bad. I used to be a loyal customer but not anyone. I have lost ALL faith in them.
Worse E-Commerce Platform
I sold a camera, and when I got the money, they deducted a large amount of fee, claiming it was an advertising fee and stuff. They should've added a notice from the start so that people can decide whether to proceed with selling an item on their platform or not.
If I were EBay Customer Service I'd be…doing my job to resolve issues people are having. Why work there if you can't do your job???
If I were EBay Customer Service I'd be ashamed the way customers and sellers are treated. I probably will never buy on them again.
They say they called, yet I've been sitting by the phone and they don't. Emails are NOT responded to unless it benfits them!! What a terrible way to run a large company!!! Very closed minded!!! UGH!!!
I find it sad and unethical how eBay…
I find it sad and unethical how eBay allows all these sellers to sell unlicensed sports jerseys. It's obvious with the cost of these jerseys being under $50 when they sell in the hundreds through the officially licensed MLB/NFL/NHL shops. eBay only cares about their sellers fees. Maybe one day these sports organizations will fight this to stop eBay from allowing the sale of knock-off jerseys.
Disappointed After 21 Years of Loyalty
After over two decades as a loyal eBay customer—with more than 500 positive feedback ratings and a flawless record—they’ve shown me that seller integrity means nothing when a buyer cries foul. I recently had a buyer claim an item was "not as described," despite no evidence, no photos, just a baseless complaint. eBay sided with them instantly, accepting the return and leaving me to absorb the loss.
This wasn’t just a minor oversight—it was a complete disregard for my history, my reputation, and the truth. It feels like sellers are treated as disposable, while dishonest buyers get a free pass. If this is how eBay treats its most reliable users, I can’t imagine what newer sellers are up against.
eBay used to be a place where trust and accountability mattered. Not anymore.
False advertising
There a joke of company there iwas a car online I was interested the car was not reported as a CAT car I did a check came back CAT S reported to eBay not interested one bit I just wanted to warn others
Stole 403$ from me and no refund is…
Stole 403$ from me and no refund is possible. They just told me after 2.5 months of aggravations and waiting to contact my credit card provider to resolve it with them. Unbelievable! Never will i deal with them again!
I've been an Ebayer for 22 years and I…
I've been an Ebayer for 22 years and I have an 100% feedback for those 22 years I never thought anything could disturb me ! until I reported an issue with a hair dye which had no English instructions. I was ignored and after that no feedback from them on my case .... with seller who is dishonest and tends to play by ebay rules. I finally realised they were on the sellers side etc etc. I've now left it I do miss it as it was a daily routine, it's not honest upfront and they just don't care for people like me all they want is profit Mar
They sell stolen designs
They sell stolen designs, in our case that would be for a charity, Farm Aid and won't stop.

Just another way Ebay allows buyers to defraud sellers
The way eBay kisses the buyer's a$$, I am shocked to see that there is only a 1.2 trust rating. In my 20 year experience with Ebay, I have had 3 occasions as a seller where, with eBay's assistance, the buyer totally scammed and screwed me. This is the latest scam where Kathy Fessel from Indiana purchased a 17th century hand painted Fenton milk glass lamp from me via Ebay. Upon receiving it, she claimed it was "shattered." If anyone knows milk glass, it doesn't "shatter". It could break in half but it is not the type of material to "shatter." I asked Kathy to send me photos of the supposed damage, she refused. She claimed that she did not open the package fully because she heard broken glass and didn't want broken glass in her house. Since the lamp was still inside the unopened box, she couldn't send me any photos of the lamp as proof of the supposed damage. She then filed a dispute with Ebay and her credit card company. We all know that when a buyer files a dispute with Ebay, Ebay will find in the buyers favor 100% of the time, no matter what! So, of course this case was no different, the buyer got a full refund and as a bonus got to KEEP the lamp. That's right, Ebay did not require that she send the alledged broken lamp back to me. Because the sale was over $300, I purchased insurance with USPS. Because I don't have the lamp and I don't have any photos of the supposed damage, I am screwed, I cannot make a damage claim and utilize the extra insurance that I paid for. Thanks Ebay for screwing me once again! Just another way Ebay allows buyers to defraud sellers.
Good company
Good company, but quite a bit of scammers on their platform
eBay is withholding $1k from my sales
eBay is withholding $1k from my sales. They have not verified my bank information for over two weeks and I’ve called three times and no solution has happened. They keep saying they will escalate it and nothing has been solved. I should have just gone to Etsy.
Ebay Removed My Honest Negative Seller Feedback
Ebay tells buyers to leave seller feedback for the benefit of other buyers, however, I left deserving negative feedback for a bad seller and Ebay removed the negative feedback! The integrity of EBay is questionable.
Goodbye
Goodbye
After years on selling on eBay , sales started declining massively , plus health condition prevented me to continue hunting for stock had to let go of my business. I did have a private account on which I sold around 20 things , I always kept this separated they forced me to change this to a business seller, saying I’m a business which I no longer am , I was a while back. But trust me I haven’t been one cause I simply can’t anymore. So if I had to upgrade my private account to a business one I would rather sell on an account that with +2000 good feedback decided to have ago , even with only very few bits to sell. Paid fees to insert sold nothing , decided to try vinted yesterday sold immediately. So yeah goodbye eBay . Making a private seller selling their own stuff as business when they clearly no longer a business was the last straw. As a buyer I loath searching for things on eBay this days. Getting bombarded with offers of things that I’m not interested only cause I clicked the listings?? A bit desperate move no?! I have disabled notifications on this a still get them! I will be no longer using eBay as a seller or a buyer .
