EU customers: The IOSS Accountability Gap
Charged customs fees because seller didn't include eBay's IOSS number (confirmed by my countries customs). The system is literally designed to prevent this exact scenario.

Mistakes happen - we're all human. But when sellers mess up documentation in YOUR system and you refuse to help? That's a choice.
eBay's "buyer protection"? Nonexistent when it matters. They provide IOSS numbers, sellers ignore procedure, YOU pay, both parties shrug.
Closing my account - not that they care. International shipping + eBay = expensive gamble. You've been warned.
