Following my review of Evri I received…

Following my review of Evri I received a response from them advising me to ring customer services to request a call back. I rang the number only to be told they couldn’t find the parcel reference!! Why am I not surprised that their customer service is as poor as their delivery service.

Evri may have changed their name but…

Evri may have changed their name but they are still abysmal.
I ordered an item from Amazon on 10/10/25 and was advised on 11/10 that it was out for delivery but 21 minutes later it was held by carrier. Out of the blue I was told on 15/10 that I had refused the parcel needless to say I had not seen anyone.
On 16/10 I was advised it was out for delivery again between 14:30 and 16:30 but no delivery was made.
I then received notification that delivery had been attempted at 17:59 again no one had called.
Why anyone would use this company I find hard to believe.

Evri/Hermes service is still as bad as ever

Evri have had my parcel since 30/10 and it was due to be delivered on 01/11, it didn't arrive but tracking showed delivery had changed to 02/11 but again it didn't arrive and the delivery date had changed to 06/11. On the 03/11 it showed "delivery on hold" the explanation being that the item was bigger than expected and a specialist courier would need to deliver it (the item is 300mm x 110mm) can't understand the requirement for a "specialist courier".That has continued to be the position until out of the blue I received an email purportedly from "Claire" at evri who was going to sort the problem out, needless to say nothing has happened.
I the found that evri were advertising that they were offering a callback service I have requested that at least 5 times with no response.
There is nothing about this company that leads me to believe that their 4.2 rating on trustpilot is genuine.

Evri/Hermes still the same.

The only thing that has changed with Evri is their name otherwise their service is as appalling as it was when they were known as Hermes.
I ordered an item 27/10 which was due to be delivered 31/10 - 01/11 I was advised on 01/11 it would arrive by 8pm late on the delivery date was changed to 6/11(no explanation). The following day tracking advised it would be delivered by 8pm late afternoon I checked tracking which stated delivery had been attempted(a complete lie as I was at home) and that “delivery on hold” more information required before delivery could be made. The explanation I was given was that the item was bigger than they thought and a specialist courier would have to deliver it. The item I was expecting was 300mm x 110mm!!! On the 03/11 I received an email from customer services stating that the parcel hadn’t been passed to the courier which was why it had not arrived but it would arrive by 8pm on 03/11, the agent obviously wasn’t confident because she said she would check on 04/11 to confirm delivery had been made.
Surprise surprise item still not delivered, I am looking forward to the excuse offered tomorrow.

Superb Service

I have a 2013 motocaddy M1 pro and recently the lower bag support bungee snapped. I contacted motocaddy and the person I spoke to found the parts I required, the sales department took my details and informed me that the items would be despatched that day. The order was placed on a Wednesday and was delivered to me on Friday unbeatable service from start to finish.

Travel in France with an Emovis Tag

The first time we went to France we went through all the rigmarole of looking for change, queueing and remembering to stop as close as possible to the toll machine on the passenger side. having seen the speed other vehicles went through the tolls we arranged to get an Emovis tag before our next trip and what a difference it made, we, relatively, flew through toll booths it made the experience of driving through France much more enjoyable and all for a price of €8 a year, an absolute bargain and indispensable if you travel frequently.

I have been very critical of Hermes for…

I have been very critical of Hermes for the quality of their service . Recently I have been sent parcels by family and was not confident they would arrive when I found out Hermes were the courier involved. However I have to say that the service I received was completely the opposite of my previous experiences in that the items were received on the date and time stated.

Excellent customer service from American Golf

I had problems yet again with a delivery by Hermes fortunately the people I spoke to at American Golf were able to help me sort the problem out and issued me with a replacement item. I cannot fault the customer service I received from American Golf but cannot understand why they continue to use Hermes as this is the second time I have had problems with a delivery by Hermes and from the reviews I have read most people seem to have the same problem.

excellent service

Ordered an item from American Golf which wasn't delivered by Hermes. When I contacted American Golf they couldn't have been more helpful and attempted to sort the problem out with Hermes but unfortunately Hermes, being as bad as they are, chose to return the item. Contacted American Golf today and they have issued a replacement with a different courier I don't think they could have done anymore for me which is completely the opposite of my experience with Hermes.

Will only buy on line if courier isn't Hermes

Having been told I would receive a delivery on 13/07/20 which didn't arrive I contacted American Golf who tried to sort the problem out unfortunately without success as on tracking today it states item has been returned to sender. On tracking it also states "customer refused" and "Customer requested return to sender" both of which are total lies as I had no contact with the courier and it's an impossibility to speak to anyone at Hermes. In future it will be which courier a company uses rather than price which will decide who I do business with.

Hermes getting even worse

Ordered item from American Golf 09/07/20 it was delivered to Hermes on 10/07/20. When I checked tracking it stated the item would be delivered between11.00-13.00 on 13/07/20 needless to say it didn't arrive. Tracking was not updated through the day but on 14/07/20 there was a note that the item was "in their local depot and on its way to you". There was also a note "customer requested return to sender" since I have not seen a courier and it is impossible to speak to a human being at Hermes I can't understand how I could have made that request!! I didn't think it was possible for Hermes to get worse but they are proving me wrong.

This company is hopeless

This company is hopeless, The last three parcels I have ordered on line have not been delivered at the time or on the date advised. The second item was returned to the retailer as Hermes stated they had made three attempts to deliver the item which was a complete fabrication as my wife and I have been shielding during the pandemic and have not left the house for over 4 months. The latest item was due to be delivered today but surprise surprise it has not arrived, There is no way to get it sorted as they use AI to answer (not answer) your query. How any company can use Hermes is beyond my comprehension.

How is Hermes a 4 star company

How this company can have a 4 star rating is beyond belief to me. I was informed yesterday that a parcel I was expecting would be delivered between 12-2 an hour later I was informed I had cancelled the item which was being sent back to the sender. Today I was told that it would be delivered between 10-12 again nothing arrived. I contacted Hermes who advised me their courier could not access my address. This is a carbon copy of what happened recently when I was awaiting a parcel from American golf. I can't imagine any company providing a worse service than Hermes.
