Evri/Hermes still the same.
The only thing that has changed with Evri is their name otherwise their service is as appalling as it was when they were known as Hermes.
I ordered an item 27/10 which was due to be delivered 31/10 - 01/11 I was advised on 01/11 it would arrive by 8pm late on the delivery date was changed to 6/11(no explanation). The following day tracking advised it would be delivered by 8pm late afternoon I checked tracking which stated delivery had been attempted(a complete lie as I was at home) and that “delivery on hold” more information required before delivery could be made. The explanation I was given was that the item was bigger than they thought and a specialist courier would have to deliver it. The item I was expecting was 300mm x 110mm!!! On the 03/11 I received an email from customer services stating that the parcel hadn’t been passed to the courier which was why it had not arrived but it would arrive by 8pm on 03/11, the agent obviously wasn’t confident because she said she would check on 04/11 to confirm delivery had been made.
Surprise surprise item still not delivered, I am looking forward to the excuse offered tomorrow.
