Scam company sell faulty bad sofa which only last months not even a year DO NOT BUY
I will be taking this company to court for selling me a sofa which is now developed two faults which are only bought in July 2025 and is now October they refuse to collect and refund under the consumer rights act 2015, they make up lies about a 3 month warranty, that they can’t give refund, I will be taking them to court and exposing this all over social media obviously live in the Stone Age and don’t know the power of TikTok, you gonna learn today though! Please do not get anything from this company. They are a scam and they’ll rip you off. They’ll be reported to the ombudsman.

I am so pleased with my Sofa - ordering and paying for it online was so easy. It was very quick delivery - 3days approx and the 2 Delivery Guys were so quick and efficient and polite. Assembly of the Sofa was quick and easy no screws etc the pieces just slotted in. I would reccomend this Company to anyone.

After reading some reviews I was nervous but went and ordered and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED! £499 for a corner sofa and it is such amazing quality, comfy and looks so expensive! Delivery guys were lovely! I will be returning for more furniture. Thank you!!

I ordered the Tristan left hand corner sofa with footstool in sage. The photos on the website don’t do it justice and it is bigger than what it looks in the photos. Very comfy and I am really pleased with this purchase.

Could not be further from recommending this company. I purchased a bed back in April that their courier delivered to the wrong address. Instead of making it their job to try and resolve this, they tried to scare me into dropping it by threatening police action. I told them I would not be opening a police case as I had not been stolen from due to never receiving the delivery, and they kept persisting that they would get the police round to ask me questions and investigate. After I kept pushing they finally issued a refund, but this was a lengthy process of me being insistent that they resolve it. I can imagine the mention of police would scare some people even if they know they have done nothing wrong, and this scaremongering technique only serves to put people out of pocket and mask over this company's mistakes. Highly, HIGHLY insist on avoiding this company at all costs. As they like to reply to their negative reviews saying they aren't relevant if you don't provide an order number, mine is #98576.

Purchased a reclining gaming chair in May 2025. This was a gift and wasnt actually used by the recipent until middle of June 2025 on his actual birthday. Recently, upon reclining backwards the mecanhism seized and the chair was stuck rigid in the flat reclined position. Tried everything to make this recline open an shut as it should do, but still it remained stuck. Sent emails to home detail to express my concerns and how unhappy i am. Was told to try to use 'force'. This was an expensive purchase and is broken after not even 2 months. Customer service is very vague and unhelpful. They asked for photos, which I provided, they then wanted a video. As explained to them, because this is now stuck in reclining position and laying flat it was impossible to move in the bedroom it was located in owing to how bulky it is, therefore we had to remove it from the room so getting a video is now impossible. The photos provided clearly showed the issue and the fact the chair was laying flat.
I have now sent 3 emails explaining this and asking for an update, all which have been ignored. This is absolutly shocking from a supposing 'reputable' buisness.

I ordered a sofa bed from Home Detail, having spent an age checking out sofa beds online.
Initially, I spotted the sofa bed on both the B&Q website and Debenhams, both advertised as sold by Home Detail and at around £100 higher price than going direct to the site.
Having read a bunch of reviews on here and elsewhere ( People mainly moaning about the courier ), I took the plunge and ordered - PayPal, so I've got some protection if things go wrong.
Emails received from Home Detail confirming the order, then that was followed up with confirmation from the courier AIT, who sent a very polished video explaining what to do on the delivery day, clear the area, etc and confirmed the delivery date.
(I've read horror stories regarding a courier company called Arrow, but AIT are not affiliated in any way)
On the day, we had a confirmation of delivery time, then an update to say that the guys were running late due to a trailer issue and then a revised delivery time.
Couriers turned up as promised and delivered the 2-box sofa bed to exactly where we wanted it in the house.
Both chaps were polite and professional and hauled a huge, awkwardly shaped box between them into the dining room for storage.
The ordering and delivery process was very smooth - I've not unpacked the item yet, but any issues with that, if they arise, are a different matter.
Overall, 10/10.
Communication from the seller and courier is beyond what I'd normally expect, and if you are in doubt that the company is legit, as the price is too good, then you can rest your mind.
The only thing I would recommend Home Detail improve on is making the 4.8 **** banner at the top of their website linkable to Trustpilot, as it does look a bit dodgy when you can't click on it and screams scam site.
You have great reviews, so push that with your marketing!

Terrible service! Returning an item is proving impossible! We purchased two sofas and a coffee table, but the quality is very poor. While we’re okay with the sofas for now as they’re just for a spare room, the coffee table needs to go. For two weeks, we’ve been trying to return it, but the seller keeps coming up with excuses, claiming their supplier has strict return policies and will charge delivery fees, admin fees, and VAT. The table is brand new, still in its box, and ready to be returned. They’ve used every delaying tactic imaginable to make us give up. We informed them that admin fees are not allowed under UK DSR rules, which they seem clueless about, and VAT charges apply to businesses, not private customers.
Poor-quality furniture is bad enough, but a return process that’s a complete nightmare is even worse.
We won't be buying again from Home Detail. Waste of time.

I was a little worried before ordering that because of the amazing sale price in comparison to the size and quality of the product, that it was too good to be true. I took a risk and ordered it for my new place anyway, and I’m so happy that I did! I’m still so shocked at how quickly the sofa arrived, how professional the delivery team were, how gorgeous the sofa itself is and how many people you can fit on it. For a sofa of this quality, size, and ‘looks’, £599 is an extremely good price to pay. Thank you HomeDetail, I’m very proud of my new purchase and I will be recommending to my family and friends!

I was very hesitant about ordering my new sofa via this company seeing the mix of negative and positive comments but I decided to give it a go and I’m glad I did the quality of my sofa is amazing, it’s so comfortable, and the delivery was fast.
The only thing I would comment negatively on is putting the sofa together wasn’t the greatest but other than that overall I’m very pleased and would definitely order from this company again

I ordered a sofa bed from home detail fully expecting the advertised 3 day express delivery.
2 weeks on still no sofa bed and hundreds of pounds out of pocket.
They use a 2nd rate courier company (ArrowXL) that have been nothing but useless and unhelpful. 3 failed delivery attempts because they are too busy. (They just don’t turn up) They lie and cheat their way through a working day!
In emailing home detail they have been extremely slow to respond in first instance almost a week before they got back to me.
I’ve had an apology and suggestion of a refund but I’m doubtful I’ll be seeing that anytime soon.
Further more they suggested I might have to pay a return fee because the couriers were unable to deliver!!!
Ironically they’ve sent me a customer satisfaction survey on my new purchase. Which is still stuck in a warehouse or on a Van somewhere.
I can’t reccomend this company. It’s been a dreadful experience and a complete waste of time trying to get any form of decent customer service!

This is my second sofa I’ve bought off them and genuinely don’t let the cost put you off as a “too good to be true” moment. The quality of the products is better than some of the higher end companies out there. I highly recommend using home detail when on a budget, because you’ll get quality and budget friendly! First delivery I was given no message or email to say it was out for delivery. Finally got it resent and delivery turned up an hour early without any warning. Lucky I was in. The whole red livery was massively inconvenient. Finally opened box to find all 3 frames of corner sofa damaged. Now feeling very sick at the thought of having to get it back in the box (which is now damaged) and fight for a return and refund. It couldn't be the worst made product ever. Even if I get replacement parts I doubt they will last long at all.
