Ordered something online and never got it
Ordered something online and the package was delivered and I called saying I didn't get the package but because fedex said it was delivered there was nothing they could do.But my argument was i live a in an apartment complex and the proof fedex provided had no apartment number or anything just a corner of a door

I’m only rating 3 stars bc of 3 amazing girls! One of the girls, Emma, that was “helping” my son & I was so rude & should not be in customer service. I work customer service so I know I’m extra polite & sensitive to those with that job title bc I’m well aware of how rude & entitled people can be. I asked her if they had a certain shirt in a different size & she said no, I asked her same question about pants she said no. My son & I continued to walk through the store & I found both items in the size we were looking for. I kindly let her know that I found both items in the size we were looking for & all she said was “cool” with an ugly look on her face & turned around to put clothes on hangers. The 3 other girls, Jonelle, Mattea, & one other (unfortunately didn’t get her name) were absolutely wonderful. I think they were aware of the situation bc I saw one of them talk to Emma & it was pretty clear Emma was complaining about me. Like I said,I work customer service. I work at Trader Joe’s down the street from TILLYS so I totally understand how rude people can be & I pride myself on being patient & really friendly. It sucks bc individuals like Emma kinda ruin it for everyone. I do not write reviews unless they’re positive but this girl just came across bitter & definitely working in the wrong field. Besides this experience, I’ve never had a bad one at TILLYS. I’m so tired of being a customer & feeling like I’m a horrible person for asking a question to an employee. Jonelle & Mattea & the other gal are the reason I’d come back. :)

Horrible!!!! I was charged twice for an order because their site had a glitch and have to dispute it on my cc as they are not refunding me. I will NEVER order from them again. Also was hung up on by customer service when I asked to speak to a manager.

TERRIBLE!!! DO NOT EVER have anything shipped from this store & if you are brave enough to try - know that if you have ANY ISSUES there is ZERO help. You're stuck with whatever happened. No-one will re-ship you your item or help in ANY way...I'm pretty sure the only job they have is to answer politely, say they are sorry but there is nothing they can do...but you can open up a claim. It's bullish*t. They claim they are not able to ship out anything to make things right. It's on YOU to go to a store or order again online. WOW... So, our issue was this: Went to the store and found something for vacation. Didn't have my daughter's size but it was perfect for our trip and we really needed it for an event. (When you have kids with severe sensory issues...every find is a BIG DEAL.) Sometimes we shop all day and find nothing. So, I had it ordered AT THE STORE and shipped to the address where we would be staying. I asked the manager and the clerk 3 times...hey, this is super important. Are you SURE this won't ship to a default address? Because you're also telling me our default address is an old one, where we don't live anymore and that you CAN'T update to our new address right now...but that I will have to do that later online or over the phone. Ok, no problem. Just please make sure your shipping address is 100% locked in and correct. They were annoyed with me but assured me that yes, they did this properly. Well...NO they didn't. Shipped the item to the old address where we don't live and customer service...instead of being how they should be and apologizing and re-shipping a new item overnight to the correct address...could only say sorry there's NOTHING we can do. When it arrives you can open up a claim. WTF?! That's it? It's now my problem and out of your hands. We all know that claim will go nowhere - but hey, we hope you shop with us again. How are you still in business?! I've worked for companies that shipped $300+ in inventory to a wrong address before and literally re-shipped at no charge and even added a bonus item due to inconvenience...but this company can't even re-ship a $30 item to make a customer happy and resolve an issue that honestly was WAY bigger than clothing. Tilly's - You've lost more customers from this one transaction than you know - if you even care.
Missing item and no refund
I would give this 0 stars if I could. I ordered a pair of shoes and ONLY received ONE shoe. Literally just the right shoe. I put in a claim with them, they closed the claim 3 weeks later (they said it would take 5-8 business days), and said inventory has been counted and they do not see a left shoe missing. So no refund, no gift card nothing just 100$ broker!! I ended up calling them again and they said they would give me a gift card and it would be in my email at the end of the day. It’s been 3 days and still no give card!!! This is giving me a HEADACHE. Do not purchase from them.

I placed an online order and used my new address for shipping. My confirmation order from Tillys showed my last address for shipping. I called Paypal twice and Tillys twice to try and straighten out the issue. In short the two people I spoke to at Tillys were very unhelpful so I called again and spoke to another person who at least tried his best to straighten the matter out. Bottom line after being reassured that the item would be shipped to the correct address the notice came from the shipper with a photo of where they dropped it off. Sure enough, they sent it to the old address and as far as I know it is still sitting there. You can't make this up. Worst experience I have ever had of ordering online in 25 years. Still has not been taken care of. The trouble with Tillys is "you are guilty until proven innocent."

I bought my daughter a t-bar necklace 18 months ago and the clasp broke. It cost £17 for them to repair but it made the necklace look odd as it had faded to nearly silver. They offered to dip it for £30+. In future if I’m spending this amount on dress jewellery I will use a quality retailer like Monica Vinader. Tilly Sveaas products are not of good enough quality to last
I ordered a giftcard for my grandson
I ordered a giftcard for my grandson. Never received a confirmation for the order. Called customer service and was told it was never placed. They suggested I order again but use a different credit card. I did and received a verification that the giftcard would be sent. My grandson received both. I was surprised to see all he purchased so asked about the card and found out that two had been sent. Nothing I could do but smile and promise myself never to purchase giftcards from Tilly again.

I recently ordered a hoodie for my grandson's 9th birthday. It was supposed to be delivered to him on Jan. 16th to a locker in the mailroom. Fed Ex took a pick of a package in an open locker, not showing the # of the locker. Apparently, they do this quite often and people are not receiving their packages. So, I wrote an email to Tilly's letting them know the package at not arrived, even though it was said to be delivered. I received an email back stating that I needed to call about this issue.
The woman I talked to was quite rude and stated that they could not file a claim because Fed Ex said the package was delivered. I said then I would like you to either send out a new hoodie or refund me. She proceeds to tell me that if a package is lost/missing that Tilly's policy is no refund and they will not replace the item either. I said, "So, you are telling me that Tilly's is stealing my money than? And she repeats that is their policy and I can take it up with my credit card company, which is exactly what I did. I also told her (not nicely, I own my words) that I would NEVER shop at Tilly's again. Of course, I am also writing reviews and contacting the BBB and filing a complaint. Fed Ex is getting reviews and a BBB complaint, as well. I am sick of companies with awful customer service policies and having to deal with them.
Do your research before making any online purchase, especially if it is your first time making a purchase from them.
Tillys assumes literally NO responsibilty
Tillys assumes literally NO responsibility for your purchase the second the order is submitted. It's locked in stone so if you need any changes you are SOL. This is probably because they use Fedex, a company that is awful at the one thing they do: shipping. Now most of my anger is directed at Fedex, BUT this is the company Tillys chooses to use so yes. One star. Will not use Tillys again, will alert everyone I can to avoid Tillys. It seems most people have had similar experiences to mine.
Online ordering is a joke
Online ordering is a joke. Placed order never received email confirmation, however my debit card was hit with the charge, now waiting to get the money back. Tried calling customer service, which wasn't open for 2 days, finally got through only to have them tell me they have no record of the order. Also, customer service hours are incorrect on website they don't open until 11am not 8am. Recommend finding a better retailer to buy whatever product your are purchasing. Trust the 1 star reviews all over the place on Google.
Fraud
I put my card number in at an affiliate website for Nike Cortez size 12, but changed my mind and never completed the purchase. A week later, I got an order for Vans size 7.5 that I never even looked at on any site. Desperate for sales maybe? Someone used it to complete a completely different order, then I had several other fraudulent charges for another website! I used an Avant credit card, they are the worst, and now I have to pay for all the fraud too! I wouldn't buy anything from Tilly's or their affiliated stores!

I placed my order without much research because the jewellery looked great, I had no idea about the popularity and press. Then looked at reviews and wondered what I had done. I only had an hour to wait until the shipping label was confirmed, later that same day DHL notification came and delivery confirmed next day. Finally delivered 30 hours after order. That’s pretty good!!

If I could give it a zero I would. Never received my package. Fed Ex sent me a picture of an old fire extinguisher no proof of delivery and they closed my case over a week later and told me to call the police!!! Joke don’t ever buy anything from them.
