This product simply failed me

This is one product you really need to work. That's why we buy it and let it take up space on our keychain. It worked when I first tested it. When I really really needed it to work, when I was late for a crucial event, it failed. Completely. Now I can't get it to work at all. Keep shopping if you want a trustworthy 'find my ____' device.

No invoice is that normal ?

Purchase a tile directly on their website - order came in fine. I received and activated devices ok but I need an invoice ( does not seem too hard for a normal company). I contacted customer care that could not find my order ( I provided a copy of my email confirmation) then customer support explained that my order was shipped by Digital River ?! I have used Digital River for other products in the past and found this strange as I received email confirmation directly from tile and no one else. They left me with no other means than an email to Digital River but while I contacted DR I doubt they will help.. This is a strange supply chain issue or a scam for not providing an invoice which is a legal requirement !

Don’t Waste Your Money

I purchased 2 tiles a year ago and for the most part they have been at least as good as the air tags although they do fail to work at times. The problem is their deceptive practice of “giving you” a free year of premium service but never let me know or had my account reflect that in the app. The status always read free trail available. Then they charge you $29.99 for renewal, I’m sure I’m not the only one and most probably don’t even notice the charge.
I’m gonna contact an attorney for the potential of a class action law suit this probably has added up to millions of dollars of theft. Their customer service is useless. I should have just stuck with the air tags they were more reliable anyway. Companies like this that steal money need to be held accountable for their illegal activities and removed from existence.

Horrible returns experience

Horrible returns experience compared to Chipolo or Airtag
First of all tile network is smaller than it's competitors.
Returned tile on 16th Jan 2025 and after chasing multiple times on 06th Feb they asked for return receipt ( luckily which was tracked & signed for & sent to tile on email). Tile customer support initially offered to refund via paypal but since then they are only responding to my emails saying we are still checking & "Please look forward to my soonest follow up".
Till date (27th Feb 2025) I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED REFUND (RMA#Rtn218722) .
Other tags ( Chipolo , Airtag) returns refund was issued within 3 days of receiving it.

Untrustworthy – Account deletion refused

I have repeatedly requested the deletion of my account, but the company ignores my requests. The account has never been used for any products, and no devices are linked—yet they refuse to delete it. Instead, they now demand that I install an app just to close my account.

This is not only unprofessional but also a clear violation of GDPR. Anyone who values data privacy should avoid this company.

CHEATED by this company

I order their products and decided that I did not need it. I sent the items back and never activated the items. I sent it off in the mail and never thought anything about it expecting a refund. I put all of the information on the product shipping and left it with postal. after several months my products they say, never was recevied and they demanded me to send proof. However, so many months have gone by and I no longer had the receipt. This company refused to give me my money back and even demanded that I track a lost package in the mail.

I beleive that this company got my package and just pretended to not have it. they do not want to admit that their workers dropped the ball and didnt process it leaving me without my products or my money they took advantage of me.

I begged, Pleaded with this companies customer service to understand that I am without options. I begged this company to understand that I do not have the information anymore because so many months have gone by.

This company continued to blame me and state that they are not responsible for the postage companies and with that refused to give me my money back.

I researched all that i could. checked with the UPS that I used and they did not have copies of the shipping because so many months went on. I am deeply upset that this company is allowed to Operate and take peoples money.

Customer Service not trustworthy

Bought one for a gift and found out they already had one. Package not opened and returned for a refund via tracked delivery. Took them over 2 weeks to acknowledge that they had received it, then said it needed checking (it’s still in the cellophane) over 3 weeks now, and I still do not have a credit!!!! I cannot review the product, but the company is not trustworthy! I’m determined to get my credit back on principle!!!!

Tile customer service

I contacted the Tile customer services as I was having issues connecting a tile to my mobile device.
After liaising with the Tile team, who were very prompt in responding, they decided to send me a complimentary Tile replacement. I would definitely recommend Tile customer services for any issues you have 😃

Pretty bad

I wanted to return an order and wrote three times to support. Instead of sending an rma or whatever i need to get it done, i just received more questions or no answer at all. Now iam fed up with their bullshit. Thanks for nothing.

Overpriced by incompetence or a scam

Good product but totally incompetent sales organisation that does not understand or respect EU legislation about NOT charging VAT for purchasing between two EU-based registered companies. This made the products 25% more expensive for us. Mayby the reason for why the Tile-products are almost impossible to buy in Sweden. I guess Tile / Life360 keeps the 25% themselves as there are no legal grounds for passing them on to the Tax Authorities. If so this is a scam! The absolute worst thing is that their support does not care to listen or act to find the proper solution even though I sent them links to the official EU legislation pages in this matter.

Tile won't activate

Tile won't activate. I loaded 2 on the app, one disappeared, and won't reload. The Help is very unhelpful, and you just go round in circles getting no-where. I only gave this one star because you can't give it nil.

Tried editing an order

DO NOT ORDER directly from TILE, order from other retailers so you can actually get a refund. Tile.com has no customer support! Tried editing an order, unfortunitly. They have no order customer service that could help. Told me to reorder, then they over charged me, and there is no way to contact them to correct and order I would not order in the future.

This company has no integrity

This company has no integrity. I ordered an active product on their website (2024 Sticker Tile), and was shipped the older 2022 Sticker Tile. When I called it out I was told I ordered the wrong one. The 2022 option is not on their website and not a product you can order anywhere that I could find. But because I did not take a screenshot of my order check out the best they could offer me was to refund the original order and have me place the EXACT same order again and hope I get the right order this time. No ownership at all.

An ugly trojan horse

Poor product that only allows your phone to find the tile, not the other way around (I found after going through a complex set of phone set up instructions). It's a trojan horse that wants all your data including your driving style etc. Avoid!

Ordered the B Grade Tile product on sale. Recieved a used and worn product

Ordered the B Grade Tile product on sale. Received used product that was clearly scratched and worn. Sent pics to Customer Service and they told me that the Tile that they shipped to me was not associated with my order. Haha. Returned the item but they wouldn't pay for return shipping. Be careful about ordering B grade products on sale. Customer service obviously doesn't care about their customers. Read the reviews about this company before you buy Tile products.

Terrible Customer Support Experience

I recently had a very disappointing experience with customer support regarding a simple request. Instead of offering a straightforward solution to apply a coupon code retroactively, they suggested that I return the product and repurchase it using the code. This response is not only inefficient but also shows a complete lack of understanding of customer convenience and satisfaction.

Rather than facilitating a smooth and customer-friendly resolution, they chose to make the process unnecessarily complicated. This kind of service is unacceptable and has resulted in me deciding to return the product without repurchasing.

If this is how they handle simple requests, I dread to think how they deal with more complex issues. I am extremely dissatisfied and will not be recommending this company to anyone.

Horrible on line ordering experrience

Ordered from the site on March 19th. After a couple weeks, I contacted them via chat and was told the address was wrong (even though correct in the confirmation). Reorded and 10 days later, no order. Chat said the items were out of stock. Why wasn't I notified 10 days ago?

I ordered the items for a trip and there is no way I'll get them on time.

What a horrible customer experience.
