I had 3 emails from you then the last one said my account has been closed so now i have no idea what's going on or if you think i owe money or not. I would appreciate being written to by post so it's clear what's going on. Do you have a direct number i can call on please as i can't just wait on hold all day.

I like them, no issues so far ...
.... but I’ve not needed to speak to customer services where according to reviews is the concern .
Ive been with them 3-4 years .I use the app on my phone , buy packs in advance I think they’re reasonably priced and I like that I can see how much electricity I’m using and how much I’m in credit etc .
I will be leaving them soon as I’m moving home so will update on how they goes but I don’t envisage any issues
Edited :- they are no longer in UK and we were moved to EON really miss being able to buy those packs - great marketing concept

The Worst most disorganised electricity…
The Worst most disorganised electricity company I have ever dealt with, extremely expensive.
I have never felt so stressed having to deal with a company before and I am so thankful I will never have to deal with you again.

Worse Supplier!
Worse Supplier!! Do not go to this supplier. Billed twice for the same month! The customer service was so bad, rude and insisting that there were no twice payment when one household is in the process of transferring ownership. The billed both accounts and both of us paid. Tried to switch but didn't allow me to switch supplier after numerous attempt of calls and paying outstanding bills. The worst out of all supplier. Do not go for powershop!

What an absolute joke of an energy…
What an absolute joke of an energy supplier. Over 12 months since I switch provider and now a single email they claim I owe them money. With no active account (final email from Powershop) over 12 months ago confirming account closure they send me a single email requesting a reduced payment due to hard times of £10.50
Are you serious, having called and lodged an official complaint with your team and assured a callback, no callback happened.
You should follow the complaints procedure but yet my complaint that I officially lodged has not been actioned.
Your really think a single email is enforceable by law to request payment with no way of me checking the now closed account or grounds to prove otherwise any monies are owed?
Please may I remind you of the Back Billing code you promised to abide by set by Ofgem.
Rant over, do not touch this borderline Fraudulent Company

Went back on an agreement
Went back on an agreement to clear off debt, agreement was £25 admin charge which is questionable anyway would be written off if i kept to payments of £10p/m lo and behold today i ge email offering a settlement if i clear £18 off, i only owe £10 scammers avoid at all costs.

Ridiculous Company
With a big choice of great energy suppliers out there (I reccomend Bulb) you'd think they pick up their customer satisfaction game, but nope - they're trying to charge for 'an outstanding debt' (which has come out of the blue, no other comms in-between), TWO YEARS after cancelling with them. I'm convinced I settled the account and don't owe anything, but even if I did, that boat has sailed (or did you think waiting for a global pandemic and borderline credit crisis years later was just the best time to bring it up?)
I could have easily come back as a customer on my next switch but will actively avoid powershop now (and reccomend everyone else I speak to does too) just for the principle of how ridiculous this us, is £10 really worth that? Whoever is running marketing over there, get your act together.

More transparency and better customer service required.
I've recently left Powershop after several years and got had got used to buying the power 'bundles' as and when they were notified to me. It's not as hard as people make out (just a different way of doing things) and I would say that overall their prices are competitive.
So why have I left?
Simply because it is a nightmare to get your money refunded and the LONG delays getting through to customer services (averaged 30 minutes) who promise one thing and deliver another.
I found myself around £800 in credit on my account and was not comfortable with Powershop holding all that money if they went to the wall (though I was advised that they are owned by Npower and my money was safe?).
Then came repeated attempts to get my money refunded which would, you would think be just a question of transferring the overspend to your account?
No, I'm afraid not and here's where I feel sorry for the customer service advisors. You need to select which purchased 'bundles' you wish to be refunded.
This is time consuming, laborious and completely unnecessary.
Neither the advisor nor yourself knows where you are and even when I thought it was resolved I had to chase up the refund.
Having then decided to leave and transferred to another supplier on 11/10/20 I had to wait until 20/11/20 for the £175 credit owed and that had to be chased up twice with the inevitable wait to get through.
I still have no idea whether I have been refunded correctly and can't check because my account is closed and I can no longer access the App to view previous transactions.

SHOCKING COMPANY STAY AWAY
SHOCKING COMPANY STAY AWAY
I had so many problems leaving them last year and when I finally managed to it was a relief. The customer service is useless and they pull figures from the sky. Today a year later I receive a bill saying I owe them money, how did I manage to switch if I owed them money. When I called they said they had a problem issuing bills at the beggining of the year. What kind of excuse is that especially when I have an email to say the account was closed and nothing is owed.

My father died with Powershop owing him over £150. As an executor to his will
I asked for refund to be paid to me. I had to give Powershop my banking details for the refund to be processed. The operator I spoke to was more interested in me to open account for my late fathers property. He tried to get me to sign up for a monthly payment near to what my father was paying. I explained that the property would be empty and I would not pay that amount. I said I would pay a direct debit for £5 which he accepted. He did not give me any tariff information so I did not realise that there was a high daily charge. I checked my bank account and Powershop had set up 2 direct debits one for my late fathers account and a new account for me I received an email saying they will not give refund as they are worried I have a low direct debit payment. I am writing this review while waiting for them to answer the phone 15 in the queue been waiting 44 minutes and only down to 8 in the queue. I will not be held to ransom for them to make refund to my Dad's estate. Be warned how Powershop deal with customers especially in this situation I find myself in. For Powershop if you read this now please answer the phone.

PLEASE DO NOT USE!!!!!!! WARNING!!!
My account closed last year on the 15/11/2019, I had paid every direct debit, they sent me an email saying sorry you are leaving....you don’t have to do anything we are waiting for your last meter reading.
That was a year ago....
I received an email from them 10th November 2020, saying I owe them £830!! I rang their customer service line, on hold for 55 minutes, for one of their representatives to pretend the line was breaking up then hung up. I rang back to be placed number 15 in the que.
I have now contacted Ombudsman.
DISGRACE OF A COMPANY.

Be warned before signing with Powershop.....
After switching dual supply away from Powershop in December 2019 due to the constant headache of dealing with them, and it taking until February to finalise our accounts, we today received four emails from Powershop including a bill for £227.63 as a closing account balance.
I have been on the phone to them for over 60 minutes now, in a queue initially, a brief conversation with a service agent, on hold again, and then a supervisor telling me that we could pay the outstanding on a payment plan.
We spent hours last year trying to get through to this company to check meter readings and on switchover, and were assured that everything was in order.
If this is an administrative error on their behalf, I am gobsmacked that we haven't heard anything until today, and I am minded not to pay given the hours we spent trying to make sure we had our i's dotted and t's crossed before switchover.
Off to loft now to dig out our notes from our calls with them last year.
Beware suppliers who seem to good to be true.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Absolutely abysmal! Sent us a final bill of £200 after the account was in credit before we decided to leave them. Second time we have had to make a complaint.
The bills are illegible and deliberately designed to confuse the customer even their own advisors can’t explain them to you! Failed to make initial complaint contact within the 10 days time frame given (with no update to state it would take longer than this)will now be taking our complaint to the ombudsman costing them as a company money ... looking at the reviews looks like they’ve robbed many others too!
IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO SWITCH TO POWERSHOP AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Absolutely shocking
Absolutely shocking. Sent me a bill for £900 3 months after I left them, with absolutely no explanation. I understand that this has been an issue in the past due to some error, but it's been IMPOSSIBLE for me to get through to customer support to discuss it. I waited in a queue of 11 and then they hung up for me. I'm beyond frustrated trying to solve this issue now.

Expensive …
These were the electric suppliers when I moved into my very small one bedroom apartment in January 2020. Naturally I changed suppliers. Finally received my bill for the one month it took to changing over £60... for 258kwh.... works out about 6p per kwh more than my current supplier. Oh and two days notice to pay.
