Booked my car in for its annual service…

Booked my car in for its annual service . Advised pick up would be between 08- 1030am it’s now 12:24 and no one has contacted me so I’m none the wiser . Last time I had a service I must confess I wasn’t exactly sure what they did other than fill up my oil and add water for my wind wipers .. I’m sure a service should be more than that but hey what do I know
I haven’t bothered to ring them as a follow up .. do you think I should or do you think it’s their responsibility to follow up with me?
Edit 16:14 - if I could give a score less than 1 star I would . I received a cancellation text at 14:27.

V pleased with outcome from Fix…

V pleased with outcome from Fix Auto Uxbridge - finish is exceptional - referral via insurance co. only complaint was the 6 months it took to get on the booking list ?! .. but once on turn around was v quick. Comms professional and easy would defo recommend.

Decent but take precautions

I’ve not had any issues with Evir until recently . I will reserve judgement. I always use them for eBay deliveries I find them easier and cost effective than Royal Mail. However recently a buyer said he received the wrong item , a £2 perfume instead of a £40 one . Could the shop I dropped it off at have opened it and placed it with a different article ? I’m not sure and seems unlikely although given the reviews I’ve read who knows. I still maintain that it was the buyer attempting to swindle me - that said I now take photos of the whole process as well as the person I hand the parcel to and the process they follow . He looked shocked but I think it’s important to cover all bases in case any further issues arise. So until I have evidence to the contrary I think they are a decent service provider but take precautions and photo or video everything .

Count the costs before hand

You need to consider whether it’s appropriate to use eBay . As a seller you are vulnerable. I sold an unwanted gift . Long story short , buyer said he received the wrong article ( it’s not possible he did as I personally packed it - there’s a possibility it was stolen in the post but unlikely ) . The buyer took a picture of some cheap £2 item & said that’s what I posted?! EBay agreed despite my protests that he could get a refund ?! And he is able to return the wrong article to me . To say I’m more than annoyed is an understatement - I feel I’ve been swindled with my eyes wide open!!! As a seller I’d suggest you - take pictures or video as are you are packing your item; take a picture of it packed and at the post office or other relevant place . Also watch out for the following - getting an offer that’s more than you anticipated , getting a second offer in close proximity for a lower offer ( it’s likely a fraud , two accounts working together ) account holders with limited sales .

I just can’t recommend ……

I ordered 3 large kitchen appliances with installation & removal ( so not cheap ) , delivery due 13.10.22 was delayed by 1 month??! I only ordered because goods were in stock. I’d paid via PayPal so I raised a dispute.
AD contacted me to suggest they had attempted to make a refund but because I had escalated to PP they were finding it difficult ???! Never heard anything so ridiculous . AD suggested I close the dispute so they could make payments lol . They must think I was born yesterday ?! If I cancelled the dispute PP could no longer support me and once closed since it can’t be reopened I suspect AD would not make the refund payment anytime soon!
Nope I definitely would NOT recommend and I wont be using them again. Please note Appliance direct also has sister companies , under the umbrella buyitdirect, I suggest you avoid them all , I intend to Laptopdirect; Furniture123;Aircon
directtvs; serversdirect.
Edited :- I received a full refund today 14.10.22
I have read some 5 star reviews and would suggest that AD are more honest about what goods are in stock . I think this would provide a better experience for customers

Would defo recommend

Got my car in 8 weeks from when I started the process. I was impressed and will defo use again. Very easy process - all on line - from ordering to delivery excellent in my experience. They probably lie about time scales for delivery lol but I expected that so didn’t have too many concerns
It was part of a discount scheme at work ( not sure there was any discount and I’m still waiting for my vouchers and the price you see on line is different to what you are finally quoted ) . But I’ve had No issues . I didn’t understand the system initiAlly so maybe I was asking too many questions but happy with response etc - I would defo recommend- ordered May received July

I like them, no issues so far ...

.... but I’ve not needed to speak to customer services where according to reviews is the concern .
Ive been with them 3-4 years .I use the app on my phone , buy packs in advance I think they’re reasonably priced and I like that I can see how much electricity I’m using and how much I’m in credit etc .
I will be leaving them soon as I’m moving home so will update on how they goes but I don’t envisage any issues
Edited :- they are no longer in UK and we were moved to EON really miss being able to buy those packs - great marketing concept

Excellent program for losing weight and changing those unhealthy eating habits. I’d definitely recommend the results speak for themselves . My next challenge is seeing if I can go it alone these next 75 days

Great service - good value for money

Bought a leather sofa it was great value for money especially as I got £300 off also. Service was excellent - I'm not sure it's worth paying for the extras like the leather care pack - soap and water would suffice .

Fantastic ! Not what I was expecting

Quality of material is excellent and is far better than the original ikea covers and their subsequent replacements that I purchased. They look much better than the picture and incidentally the swatches . I'd definitely recommend both the product and company. I ordered fabric code: 100-00 . I personally think the composition of 78% polyester and 22% acryli is better than covers made with cotton , it has the feel and look of a proper sofa , looking more expensive than it was . Really pleased with my purchase
