Never sign up for their Promoted Closet. It's absolutely worthless; to put it mildly, it's robbery. I didn't realize they were taking $10 from my bank account every week. What did I get for it? In t... See more

Never sell on this site
I have sold a little bit over a year ago. It was okay platform. Recently went back to selling on the platform. Sent a package out buyer wanted a refund. She messaged me twice in a hour telling me I was a horrible person and should not be selling. The shirt supposed to have reeked of cigarettes
.Blocked her and accepted the return request. Today got the shirt back smelled just like I had sent it washed with tide. No cigarettes smell. However note was included I am a POS, I should get off the platform and I should be banned. Contacted Support and they didn't even acknowledge anything about the note. Just said they would be looking for anything being fraudulent return from this buyer from future purchases. What good is there policy of not tolerated bullying and harassment.?
BUYER BEWARE OF POSHMARKS SHADY PRACTICES
If I could have rated them zero stars I would have. On September 26, 2025, I bought a pair of shoes that were described as new and cost me $39.04. The shoes arrived on September 29, 2025. I wore them the next day for 2 hours and the top of the shoe detached from the platform bottom. I almost fell over. I contacted the seller that same day to notify her of the defect, request a refund, and offer to return the defective shoes. She apologized and immediately agreed to send me a refund. The shoes are clearly defective, as I’ve owned many Born/BOC shoes before and never had this happen. However, Poshmark refused to refund me the $39.04 because they claim that I wore the shoes and should have realized there was a problem before I wore them. This is nonsensical since they were marked as new shoes, and there was no way for me to identify the defect before I wore them. It appears that the shoes were not glued properly. It is noteworthy that the seller acknowledged that the shoes are defective and agreed to issue me a refund. So, Poshmark is committing fraud by keeping my money for a defective product. I am entitled to a refund.
Poshmark trying to charge me for a no show pick up twice
Been a great poster for years, no problems. Decided to join the consignment bags beta group. Now poshmark wants to charge me for cancelations of pick ups. I live in a complex where the buzzer is connected to me phone. There is also a camera. I had to contact association to pull and keep the finding of the day of the pick up. It showed noone came. This is the 2nd time they tried this with the pickup. Poshmark is unhelpful so please make sure you have your proof on hand this things escalate. Im currently in contact with Uber about the driver as well. Poshmark is no help. They continue claiming me and being very rude and they say one thing then the other. Once this is over I will not be using poshmark again. I will be going elsewhere because they do not listen nor care for us. They claim and try to charge us and take money for their mistakes. I love right next to ups I could easily drop it off but no, they want to send imaginary drivers and then charge me. Yesterday I provided photos where I was with bag downstairs for 3hours waiting on the driver and noone showed up. I also have personal recordings on hand. Take care of yourselves poshers

Poshmark is the garage sale standard of resale. They do not qualify their sellers. Their filters suck.
They do not protect the buyers against fraudulent sellers by denying claims.
I am done with them,
Poshmark isn’t getting another dime…
Poshmark isn’t getting another dime from me! Bought a necklace that looked decent according to seller’s pictures! In real life it was so thin it looked like a piece of thread. Poshmark sided with seller!
Well I’m done with Poshmark forever! Deleting my account asap.
Site full of Scammers
I listed quite a few items on Postmark, including some very expensive, top-brand boots and shoes. I asked reasonable prices, nothing was more than a hundred dollars. I was IMMEDIATELY hit with scammers and offers of heaven knows what, with at least two "buyers" asking me to PAY THEM for bundling my items. Absolutely NO HELP whatsoever from Postmark, other than a bot email that promised to contact me. That was almost four months ago. Still waiting.
If a buyer wants to return an item
If a buyer wants to return an item, all they need to do is damage it and report it as defective. Poshmark refunded a buyer who did this. I sold a jacket in perfect condition. The buyer put a hole in it in a spot not photographed in the listing. The buyer claimed this is the condition the jacket arrived in. The buyer got a full refund and I got a damaged jacket sent back to me.
Poshmark has NO satisfaction guarantee or return policy!!
Ordered a bag on Poshmark not knowing that they have absolutely no satisfaction guarantee or way to return an item if the quality is not as described. The bag has a pungent smell that gave me headaches and leaves a residue on my hands when I touch it. I opened a case with Poshmark to get the bag returned and they declined it saying that the item was "As described". Worst service I experienced with a retail company. Won't ever use again. But what a costly mistake on my part!!
No Return policy
It is very difficult to find the return policy. It appears to be non-existent. I did not ask for the return; I asked for the exchange. Now I'm stuck with the pants I can not wear. Usually, the sizing chart recommends sizing up or sizing down for the clothing. Not at Poshmark.
I will place a review for other buyers to be aware.

I purchased a VC bracelet in April I paid for it. I got a payment complete. I got an order number. I totally forgot about it. We had family problems when I did remember about it. I contacted them. You can see the purchase in my online purchases from Poshmark and you can see it says in transit because I never received it. They are not paying me or getting me the bracelet. They stole my $585. They have been giving me the roundabout for already two months. This is the worst company in the world. They literally stole my money. Don’t go near this website. I’m going to sue.
Closing my account
I have purchased several items and had a good experience. Recently I bid for a blue wristlet, the description said black. I messaged the seller but no response since January. I forgot about it and saw it again in September, I liked the picture and bid for it. A black wristlet arrived when I messaged the seller innocently stating you sent me the wrong one she said you didn’t message me to clarify, but I did you never responded. She said Poshmark will arbitrate, the guidelines Poshmark posts clearly state take picture of the item you are selling. Attached are the pictures and their guidelines. This is bait and switch, I sent it to the BBB but there are over 7k disputes. The Poshmark arbitrators work for Poshmark and have no intention on being impartial. Why would you allow someone to post pictures of the wrong item. Please be warned not all sellers are unscrupulous, but Poshmark even after escalating turns a blind eye. It’s not for the $35, it’s the principle, be warned.
Don’t trust Poshmark with anything.
I’ve been with Poshmark for years and then they offer me to try a free week of promotion and then after that week of free promotion they charged me $50.00. It wasn’t even worth me using it plus it was suppose to be a free week of promotions. I will never get them to promote anything for me again because of them lying about services they suppose to have offered me for free. I’ll also be closing my closet with them very soon.
Poshmark "Fee's" you to death!!!! Poshmark is the ONLY one that makes money!
Since a lot of people seem to gravitate to Poshmark I decided to try to sell some of my purses and bags that are just cluttering my closet on there. I've had my items listed for about 2 weeks and have had nothing but trouble.
The good... pretty easy to do a listing. Beyond this... it's down hill.
As soon as I started posting my items I was getting bot likes and comments, hundreds of them.
The seller fees are insane - 30% or more.
If you have an item that is more than 5 pounds, you have to purchase an additional shipping label for the weight needed. This will be deducted from your sale along with the cost of the original 5 pound shipping label that can't be used. You are not able to charge this additional shipping cost back to the buyer. The item I was shipping was 10 pounds, the additional shipping label was $29 plus the original shipping label for a total of $36 for shipping. I priced it on pirate ship and I could have shipped it myself for less, but Poshmark doesn't allow that. The item I was selling, sold for $80... after the Poshmark fee and their shipping costs, I got $35.
I tried the "promoted closet" for 7 day free trial, and then Poshmark charged me $10 because I forgot to cancel before the 7 days was up. (that's my fault). But there is no where on my Poshmark account that shows me what they have charged me for. I immediately cancelled the promoted closet and they still charged me another $6.71, which I can't find anything in my poshmark account that shows me what that is for. I'm assuming it was for the one item that I sold during that promoted closet period even though I cancelled it. It's also showing that I sold 2 items during that period, except one of those items was cancelled because the buyer had the incorrect address. So I'm charged for a cancelled order.
This was the worst selling experience I've ever had and I have sold on Mercari, eBay and Facebook marketplace. The only people that make money on Poshmark is Poshmark!!!!
A purchase was unintentionally (or…
A purchase was unintentionally (or intentionally by someone else) made on my account for an item that was NOT my size or preference. The seller agreed I could return item, Poshmark agreed I could return item. Then, AFTER item was delivered, Poshmark informed me I could not return item. Dissatisfied with lack of communication and honesty on this platform. Not the sellers fault.
Very Disappointing customer service
Twice I bought shoes that were not the size marked on the shoe and Poshmark refused to refund the money. I thought it would be the sellers responsibility to ensure the size designated on the shoe was correct -- but apparently not. They were more than 2 sizes too large. They were from China. So buyer beware
Accused of selling Fake Items even with POP
Slammed by bot messages then accused of selling fake merchandise. DO NOT USE!
I ordered a pair of jeans from a seller…
I ordered a pair of jeans from a seller @nanette_mass via Poshmark. After a rather lengthy wait , my package arrived which was a 3" by 7" empty box with a thank you card in it. I immediately documented this incident with Poshmark "help support" and Poshmark sent a shipping label instructing " once the package is returned to seller and tracking shows it was delivered, the order will be cancelled and a refund will be processed". I shipped the empty box back to the seller with the label Poshmark provided. It was delivered back to the seller . Nothing has happened since that time. Poshmark is nonresponsive at this point.
This company needs to be shut down
This company needs to be shut down. They would not honor my cancellation of a purchase for a friend, even though I canceled within one minute after hitting the purchase button. They wanted a secondary or back up payment method, but really wouldn’t explain why. Their product pictures are so small that you can’t see the defects, which then invalidates any return you can make when you find out the product you purchased is inferior. Poshmark comes back with, “You should’ve asked more questions of the seller.”
The merchant/seller doesn’t get back with you. In return for your questions and messages to them, you get a bot telling you that your item is on the way. Buyer beware. Do not order from this company.
One is way too high
One is way too high. I got scammed and they know it. Customer Service kept asking for more pictures, stating not clear. Using top of the line camera, nobody else has issues. Then they say, you only have 24?hours. What a crazy crappy company. Pay more as you get ripped off in the end. They sent a child’s shirt rather than a curvey woman’s. They should be investigated! The whole thing. Taxes, shipping fraud etc… NEVER USE THEM!
I was reading the reviews from all of…
I was reading the reviews from all of you guys and I cannot believe it what somebody cannot find a way to get back to this stupid consignment company! I am so pissed. I sold the item. I got an email from Poshmark support what my item was canceled because the seller had no money on the account. They supposed to send me my item and I’m still waiting for it. Send several emails no response. This is definitely my last time dealing with this company. I cannot still believe people would sell items on this horrible website! It must be the way to punished this organization ! I don’t know what else to do. They’re not BBB affiliated I cannot contact them. I don’t think so. I can’t contact police by any chance anybody have an idea thank you.
