Trust pilot needs to add the option of…
Trust pilot needs to add the option of “0” stars for DHL, they deserve it.
I was expecting 2 packages yesterday and today, and both went to different service points. We were at home both days, no one show up.
Now I have to drive 6 km in different directions to get what I ordered to be delivered at home.
Very disappointing and frustrating service.
NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Admin so incompetent they actually stole my money
DHL Double billed me for import cost, then refused to reimburse me unless I sent them an enormous form. (F u I don't have time for that shit)
We eventually agreed to keep it as credit, which they then applied to SOMEONE ELSE'S BILL
Their admin is so bad it will LITERALLY steal from you.

The package was supposedly delivered and someone signed for receipt, but I never saw it. This is the worst courier company out there!
Fake delivery attempts and lies
Amazon parcel with important and time sensitive items.
DHL NL faked a delivery attempt on 07/10 and changed delivery schedule to the next day which was too late. Amazon CS and myself tried to push DHL to deliver it on time, been told to DHL to bundle this parcel to other ones that scheduled to arrive the same day. DHL ignored.
I tried to chat DHL support, I told them that the delivery address is my workplace, we have CCTV and delivery driver was not shown on the footage, so it was a fake record of attempt. I offered that I will collect (depot is 2 km away from my workplace) the parcel, no need to bother with delivery, they lied that the depot is closed (I went there to check, it was fully working). Then I asked them if they really have no intention to deliver the parcel on 07/10, just return it to the seller straight away. They delivered it anyway on 08/10 by dropping it at the gate with zero chance to reject it (they forced their services when was indicated no need). I asked them to send somebody to collect the parcel and return it. They replied is not possible according to their operating procedures (yeah, fake delivery attempts and lies are in their normal operating procedures)
I contacted Amazon, only to give a feedback on DHL. Amazon said: just keep the products we will refund you without returning them. I really hope they will conduct a big compliance investigation.
Review Title"DHL eCommerce NL – Digital Stonewalling Disguised as Support"
Parcel got [ not ] delivered to a parcel point, open only from 1pm to 5pm, no card, no doorbell, every time. Wanted to complain, got worse.
I was misled by their chatbot into thinking I could escalate a service issue. Instead, I was stuck in a scripted maze of dropdowns and simulated empathy. When I asked for a phone number, the bot claimed no such thing existed — even though it does (088 – 345 4300). “Human” agents responded with slow versions of the same script, avoided accountability, and refused to acknowledge clear facts. This isn’t customer service; it’s digital gaslighting. I’ve asked Temu to avoid DHL for all future orders.
If you value your time, avoid DHL eCommerce. They’ve optimized for minimum friction to them, not maximum support for you.
Extremely Disappointing Experience with DHL Netherlands
I’ve had one of the worst experiences ever with DHL NL. My estimated delivery date was Saturday, October 11th. Two packages from the same sender were handed over to DHL. one was delivered, but the other shows a delay of 1–2 days. This is despite both being shipped within the Netherlands!
When I contacted customer service, things only got worse. The representative was completely unhelpful and seemed to have very limited knowledge. I asked for the complaints department email, she couldn’t provide it. I then asked for a copy of our chat transcript (which lasted over 35 minutes), and again, she said she couldn’t share it. Her final response was simply, “Do you have any other questions?”
Truly disappointing experience. Very poor customer service and disorganized internal processes. DHL NL should seriously review how they handle customer support and delivery issues.
DHL is the absolute worst company to…
DHL is the absolute worst company to work with. The personnel in the customer service is lying to me and trying to fool me about where my parcel was delivered. They lost my parcel and they also have no idea. But the system is really well built to protect only themselves, you cannot reach a person by calling or mailing. You only talk to AI chatbot which is absolutely useless and nerve breaking, when you reach to a real person that person either LIES or writes you pre written messages. I have no idea why they are getting paid for and I wish absolutely the worst for them.
Liars
They didn't attempt to deliver my parcel even when I was at home. Instead they marked it delivered with a fake signature. The seller opened an investigation and DHL rejected it, so the seller won't refund me and I am down 800 euros thanks to DHL lying.

I’m very disappointed with DHL’s delivery service. My packages are never delivered to my address — the driver always drops them off at a service point instead, even when I’m home and have paid for home delivery. This defeats the purpose of using a delivery service in the first place. I constantly have to go out of my way to pick up my own parcels. DHL really needs to improve its delivery accuracy and communication with customers.
3 wrong address deliveries
The airmattress was bought 02 Oct 2025 for next day delivey...3 Oct (Friday). We get a note front ecommerce dhl they would deliver in afternoon on Friday. After their delivery time passed we get a note there was no one available. (That was not true this time or for Mon or Tue, 6,7 Oct) We only received it today 8 Oct after many emails to Huddle AirMattres supplier. We noticed that the address on the supplie self labeled box was correct. Neither the Huddle company or DHL ecommerce could be contracted and interacted with on the weekend. So our expected guest could not come for the weekend ..no airbed.
We would not give higher than 0 rating if it was available...for their facilities to communicate and their miss 1 day delivery times (5 days including week-end)
We do not give it a minus store, even though then were trying to deliver it to the building garbage Bint entrance. A neighbor sawcthem and sent the around the corner on our designated Street address
on the shipping label. Once they got to the building front door my wife met them....and eventhough it is not ecommerce policy to deliver it to your flat, they did bring up to our flat. My wife is 80, and I am 82, but had a twisted knee and also a recent cancer op on that same knew. It was difficult for me to go to downstairs the building front door, even though the package only weighed 15 kilos. So our thanks to them for bringing it to our flat . That bringing store from a minus to zero. Our advice if want something the next day, do not use this shipping company. And know that in anycase, it is virtually impossible to connect with them. amAnd the virtual assistance seems useless.
My parcel has been lost during shipment…
My parcel has been lost during shipment by DHL, and on Marketplats I overlooked to add extra insurance, so probably get a refund 3.4 euro for the 400 euro ski jacket. And yes legally DHL is covered as without any clue I used their eCommerce label via Marktplaats, and the law allows them to cap compensation at €3.40/kg unless you buy that tiny insurance, which I simply overlooked...So DHL “right” on paper.
But ethically, they’re wrong — because you’re not a logistics professional. And I am again just just someone who trusted their system once. And I know you don't care...
Absolutely horrible.
Absolutely horrible.
They ship a package, and it says 'delivered'. But it is not here and not at the neighbours.
I reach out to them (takes a long time with robots etc.) to find a solution, and the only message I get is 'it says delivered so we can't do anything else'.
Zero customer experience and complete lack of responsibility.
The package came in damaged
Steer well clear if you can!
Parcel collected on 24th September and due to be delivered on 25th. Message saying delivery was delayed and it would be delivered the next day. Four days later have heard nothing more. The item is a LIVE PLANT (or at least it was when collected!). Contacted them by e-mail - no reply. Phoned today and they said they were having "technical issues" and couldn't help me! You couldn't make it up!!
Package not delivered
Package not delivered. I received an email that the package was delivered but I am home all day and there is no letter or package, not here or in the neighboorghs. Chatbot is completely useless and it is impossible to contact the support.
Terrible
Terrible. Instead of arranging the packet is brought to a pick up point they return it to the sender!
Exactly as it should be. Timely clear information on estimated…
Timely clear information on estimated delivery time. Package arrived exactly when it was due. Courier was friendly. Packaging was insubstantial but the product inside was not damaged. Overall a satisfactory service.
DHL not set up to assist handicapped…
DHL not set up to assist handicapped package recipients find alterntive ways for them to sign for package deliveries. To often packages are returned to seller because of a lack of sufficient incentive to see packages delivered to customers.
Horrible company
What a horrendous, garbage, horrible company is this. The worst employees i have met in my life. If you do not open within 2 seconds of them hitting your door bell 5 times they are beating om your door to the point where you think that you are being raided by a swat team.
Disgusting company, disgusting people, disgusting customer service system where you spend 6 years to find a phone number or to come in contact with a human being.
On top of that the other side of coin is them just not showing up and dumping your package 15-20minutes driving away because the employees are too lazy to properly deliver a simple package.
