Dreadful experience with DHL and…
Dreadful experience with DHL and shocking customer service from Dunelm. Waited in for my order which was due at teatime but the DHL tracking was updated at14.30 to say they couldn’t find my address (I live on a main road, this is so ridiculous). No further info over the next few days so I phoned them, kept on hold for a long time and was finally told it would be re delivered early the following week.
I waited in, nothing arrived. Tracking not updated.
I phoned Dunelm, on hold for a long time. They arranged a reorder to be sent. Guess what!! It didn’t arrive yet again! Tracking just petered out on the delivery day.
Had several webchats this week with Dunelm, they contacted dhl and I’ve been told I cannot have a refund until the parcels are returned to them! But DHL can’t find them. So I have lost faith in Dunelm too, very shoddy customer service. Zero stars for both and a warning to anyone not to rely on either company.

Booked a medical express service
Booked a medical express service - I had to get the tests back to the lab on the next day - hence I booked the collection with DHL. No one has ever showed up to collect the test sample which then got ruined and will have to be retaken. Very stressful experience as this is a very important health medical condition that I have and need to get the tests in time.

I had a package that needed to be delivered within a very tight timeframe, and the DHL Australia team went above and beyond to make it happen. The staff were incredible — they ensured my parcel made it onto a plane from Sydney to Brisbane and was delivered on the same day it was urgently required.
A huge thank you to Imogene from the speciality team — your customer service was exceptional. You not only kept me informed with updates throughout the process but personally followed through to make sure everything went smoothly. I truly can’t thank you enough for your professionalism, care, and commitment.
Highly recommend DHL for their reliability and outstanding service!

Still waiting for my delivery 8 day's later past the original delivery day, I missed a day's work again because of them, I then rebooked delivery for the 13th and still nothing, no response no delivery attempts. Absolute shocking service as usual
One big unprofessional mess
One big unprofessional mess! I got an email this morning saying the delivery would arrive between 10:08 and 11:08, so I went out early to take care of some errands and make sure I’d be home on time. I get back, and there’s another email saying the courier was here at 9:01 — no note left, no way to contact the courier (I’d even be willing to drive and pick it up myself), and no way to reach DHL eCommerce to have them connect me with the courier. This company is a joke.

I HAVE LOST ALL THE MONEY I SPENT AS DHL ARE SAYING THAT THEY DELIVERED IT SAFELY AND THE SELLER IS REFUSING TO REFUND ME BASED ON DHL’S EVIDENCE WHICH CLEARLY SHOWS THAT THE PACKAGE WAS LEFT OUTSIDE IN AN OPEN AND UNSECURED LOCATION.

worst service i’ve ever had with a delivery. nearest depot is 20KM+ away if missed delivery so i had to have the recipient accept the delivery and now they know what they’re getting for their birthday. thanks for nothing.

Attempt 2 - the driver ran out of time..
Attempt 3 - unable to access the address.. what does this mean? Called DHL, horrendous queues to get through. The address had a problem, they read the address out. Spot on, and they’ve delivered here before (from the same retailer also).
Complaint now open. Will call me back before 8pm.

Spent a total of 90 mins on the phone today on 4 phone calls (one of which the operator cut me off although she did actually call me back, so that’s worth 1 star)
Parcel now missing, I have no central heating and the house is cold (the parcel was radiator valves). Having to resort to jumpers and hot water bottles.
Not the end of the world but absolutely terrible customer service..
Use a different firm if you can until they sort their house out.

Do Not use DHL you cant speak to anyone, you go round and round on their website, there is a telephone number with only a few options NOT one for lost parcels, my item which is worth £600 is stuck in a depot and I cant get hold of anyone to get it back, no contact for the depot, the worst company I've nwr come across fumming its still showing as being at the depot since 19th Septmeber 2025 terrible terrible service

NO STAR RATING !Friday 26th October 10.55am still no answer or reply or update !!!!Not acceptable to give custmer in two days running the exact time their parcel will arrive. Now at 19.50pm the same message as yesterday parcel delayed for another 24hrs! I paid for this parcel to arrive Tuesday and will be avoiding this what they call a courier service in future as they have failed to deliver my parcel which I paid extra for yesterday s delivery!

Horrible company they give you a hour tjme stamp for delivery and then deliver the parcel a hour earlier? So obviously no one’s home for the hour before the time stamp honestly so disappointing and such a hassle
