I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE
I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE! Purchased a hot tub on 6/7/25 and put a $5000 deposit down. We were told it would take about 8 weeks to be delivered. Started calling them the first week of August and went to showroom on 8/11/25 and they were out of business. Later found they closed the facility on Fort Darling Road on 6/30/25. Called, emailed and just filed civil papers to sue. We are not the only people this happened to and we are also filing with the VA attorney general's office and will also reach out to 12 on your side.
NON-DELIVERY OF HOT TUB
We ordered our hot tub on June 7th at the raceway. The total came just under $10K. We put down $5K with our credit card and the tub was to be delivered between 6 and 8 weeks. I called the first week of August several times and contacted them via email through the website. No response. On August 11th I went to the showroom in North Chesterfield and the place was empty and deserted. They never delivered and kept our $5000. I have reported them to the bank and BBB. Going to file two civil suits next week against the companies and the owners.

Went to the warehouse to get items I ordered in June 28, 2025. Folks the doors were locked and the building was empty. Note on door states they are no longer in business.
Paid for those items to be shipped, nothing came and my money has not been refunded. Getting an attorney, this ridiculous they have not responded or refunded orders paid upfront.
I ordered a new hot tub cover never received it.
I ordered a new hot tub cover from Barefoot Spas. I paid them $1072.49. I was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks to receive the cover. It has now been 15 weeks. I've called several times a day on different days to find out where my cover is. The phones only let you leave a message. I've emailed customer service multiple times. No one has called me back or responded to my email. Did Barefoot Spas go out of business? Do not trust this company
Poor Communications and shipping
I ordered 4 items in May. My credit card was immediately charged. I called Barefoot Spas when I received nothing and was told of a supply problem. I would not have been told if I had not called. To date, I have received 1 of those 4 items. I was emailed that the remaining items were to be shipped. Nothing has been received. I repeated requested to speak with management, but to date, no calls have been returned. I sent a letter--and no response. I'm still waiting for the items I paid for in May.
Back order response
Items were on back order but company responded quickly to messages and as soon as items were in warehouse representative assured me they would be immediately shipped out and they were. They went beyond duty to make sure that happened. Happy with Barefoot Spas overall.
Poor customer service
Poor customer service! When you finally reach someone to speak with they know nothing not helpful at all and dont fallow through with what they tell you!!! I ordered replacement head rest in May charged immediately on my credit card and did not receive the product for almost two mths later after placing a claim with better business bureau. Would have been nice when placing my order i would have been told they were on back order or there will be a delay in receiving the items. I sent 3 emails that went unanswered, in one of the 3 times I was able to speak with someone I was told he would either call.me back with an update or send a email with a tracking # which neither happened. Very disappointing spen 15k on a hot tub and after the sale Barefoot Spa drops the ball.
I did receive the product but only after ALOT of unnecessary stress on my part.
I ordered a set of headreasts
I ordered a set of headreasts. When I placed the order, the website said nothing about the items being on back order. I finally called the company to inquire about delivery date. I was then told they are running late. I feel I should have recieved an email letting me know the issue.
Took months to receive!

Ordered two control panel overlays but only one arrived. Emailed customer service last week and haven’t heard anything yet in response.
The Spa Shock is the absolute best!
The Spa Shock is the absolute best product for our hot tub, hands down! I was forced to buy a different brand while your stock was unavailable and it totally threw our tub out of sorts. Caused us to have to drain and start over with your Spa Shock. We highly recommend!
Covered warranty claim denied by this third rate company
The plumbing glue joints on your Spa still covered under the 5 year warranty was denied for repair. This company builds a subpar product and then doesn’t stand behind them. Not unexpected from a third rate company that hustles customers at fake trade shows.
Nathan is best customer service rep…
Nathan is best customer service rep ever!!! He is so helpful and knowledgeable. He follows through and always calls you back. He has helped us out on several occasions and we have been very satisfied
Don’t buy from Barefoot Hot tubs!!!
Don’t buy from Barefoot Hot tubs!!!! I am a long time owner of a hot tub and when I received this tub the 1 pillow is peeling bad. They do not back warranty and if they don’t like your opinion they remove you from there Facebook page like Brock did. My last hot tub was from pool city and they backed the product they sold 100%. Big mistake buying from this company.

They have all the items I need to care for our Barefoot hottub... the items are priced right and they ship quickly.

I’ve spent 3 years trying to get Barefoot Spas to honor their 5-year warranty. They acknowledged the issue, sent me the part, and expected me to install it—completely ignoring their responsibility. It’s unfortunate that I now have to take legal action over something that could’ve been easily resolved. Very disappointing experience.
I am very disappointed in the service…
I am very disappointed in the service from this company. The warranty says 5 years on the pump but at 3 years my pump went out and they said sorry it is only for manufacturer defects. This was without even checking it to see what caused the problem. Why give a 5 year warranty if you are not standing behind it and not even going to check and see what the issue is. Do not buy from them or it is $ 10,000 plus thrown away.
