Much of a muchness really

I signed up as I wanted more details on my genome/chromosone but the continual ‘unlock’ this and ‘unlock’ that … the pricing policy is haphazard and chaotic. People don’t want to. E badgered for an extra payment everytime they log in. My ancestry account is ONE payment a month. Why overly monetise it with endless ‘if you want to see this report you have to pay more’ . I unsubscribed straight away as it was clearly not value for money in my opinion the persistent begging bowls (unlocks) is too much to be honest and I’ll stick with Ancestry. PLUS not ONE of my main Ancestry familial matches appeared in their DNA hits, which is worrying about data accuracy. I tried it for 3 minutes and I’ve given it a pass. The company needs to seriously re-examine its pricing model as if you’re turning a customer away within minutes - you’re drastically doing something wrong.

Rubbish service and takes eons for transfers

Rubbish and appalling service - was promised a transfer to Brazil within 2 hours (why so long) 1st time using the service then woke up to find something about more information needed about me declaring I’m not a PEP - no links could be found so I cancelled the transaction. Never ever had this problem with Western Union so I’ll continue using WU. Bottom line is if you want to send money quickly don’t fall for the hype of the adverts it’s a shockingly slow process and the jumping through hoops of an invisible link isn’t funny. 10 days refund - so they get interest in your money too before refunding it. Won’t be issuing Remitly again - as soon as the refund hits my account I’ll be deleting the account. If I could score this company as zero I would do so with absolute pleasure. Top tip - AVOID USING THEM.

Update so I tried again and spoke to an alleged CS agent. Was assured money would go through but as I was using a VPN they then suspended the account and issued the 10 days refund BS. Seriously?! NEVER EVER has this problem with western Union. Money in MINUTES NOT HOURS. I’m not hopeful of the account being reactivated so I’ll wait for the SECOND refund. Talk about a crock of 💩 company. FIRST attempted transfer and an epic failure - their tagline “we deliver your promises” what a complete pi$$ take.

Super fast shipping. Faultless 10/10

Needed cocodamol for pain relief and ibuprofen. Ordered very simply a few questions then approved next day. Arrived tracked service today Sunday BH. If I’d have tried this via GP they wouldn’t have got me them till Tuesday. Super fast service. Highly recommended. Now my go to online service for over the counter meds and stuff the GP will take an eon to prescribe.

Stay well clear - it’s hit rock bottom

I don’t know whether it’s the franchisees or the food quality but the app also sucks. I placed an order and by mistake pressed collect not delivery and once you’ve done that - game over no way to change it which is a bit 💩 if you ask me. £23 of grub - a foot long and 2 x 6 inch subs.

The app said order will be ready at 9.40 - I had to get a taxi as a faff with the delivery button on the app. Unbeknownst to me the bloody franchise didn’t open till 10am 🤬

One girl on serving no one else, every thing was clearly chilled - nothing ‘fresh’ including the veg as there is no way in the world she alone prepped all the salad stuff.

Even the rolls were soggy. I ate one of the 6” subs and it was lack lustre but when I got to the chicken foot long it just tasted unappealing and downright naff.

This isn’t the Subway i know of old - everything used to taste nice from the foot long steak n cheese down to the cookies.

It’s just one garbled confused mess now, so unappealing I’ve thrown the foot long out and I hate wasting food.

I thought I’d give Subway a second chance as not had one for quite a few months, zero improvement and the food quality has hit rock bottom.

It’s died it’s death and just sells food fit for the bin. The nacho 6” sub was just rank and tasteless and soggy.

This was the Gallagher Retail Park, Coventry franchise. 0/10 today and a lost customer.

Unlike the Terminator “I won’t be back!!”

Avoid EE like a dose of the clap - seriously , MUCH better deals out there for Broadband.

Been with EE as Broadband provider since 2021 - initially price was good but yearly hikes made it an eye watering nearly £80 a month JUST for a paltry broadband service. No contact over that time. “ hi are you on the right contract now you’re out of service? We can offer you a better contract ““ blah blah blah. “ Complete SILENCE.

Now that I’ve signed up to CITY FIBRE via MTH - all hell breaks loose , both emails and calls from their retentions team, desperation now sets in knowing they’ve just lost a customer and more importany nearly a grand a year in business , they’re falling over themselves to make contract , so much so I’ve had to BLOCK their number on my phone.

Given their abysmal and p!$$ poor 1.5 score on TP I’ve clearly done the right thing by going.

MTN onboarding team utterly brilliant , modem arrived a few days ago - top level TP LINK MESH modem - miles apart from the crap EE send out.

MTH team have kept me in the loop with updates not like the deafening silence I had with EE which actually took weeks longer to get those useless plebs over at Openreach to pull their fingers out their backside for a mutually agreeable commissioning date for FFTP.

Fortunately for CITY FIBRE I’m IN when they want to do the swap over and MTH have made it as smooth as possible. A breath of fresh air.

Won’t be going back to EE given their scores here and generally adverse feedback online.

Your abject failure to look after a customer has LOST you business for LIFE. Enjoy basking in the light of failure and I can’t wait to enjoy super fast 1.2 GBit speeds only your customers can dream of …. At HALF the price you lot have been screwing me over for AND a 12 month contract not the 💩 24 month arm behind the back strong arm tactics from a bunch of greedy bullies. Bye EE forever🖕

Poor returns

Disappointed but not as much as my experience with those scammers over at 32R** - big wins are almost non existent - I won on bingo 2 years ago and that was that, since then it’s been a few pennies on the slot reels losses have exceeded input of money by a long country mile.

Not impressed and I’m getting a sense of the winning algorithms are cranked so ‘the house wins 3/4 times’.

UPDATE - and THIS is a sure fire win. Tombola have been giving (SELLING) data to Meta - Facebook when you’re online or in the app.

I’ve just had an email from Barings Law no win no fee. Sign up, I have, I’ll get some of my lost money back that way.

You have to be in it to win it. Search BARINGS LAW DATA BREACH claim and fill the drop down box for gambling sites. The more you’ve used the more you’ll get.

Crooks

Believe me when I say these are thieving crooks. Wins are derisory a few pounds here and there £40 gone in a matter of an hour of so PLUS I don’t know what their app does in the background but it leeches power and I literally watch the battery go down. Take my advice stay well ckear - the fact they’ve not claimed the TP profile is all you need to know. Complete scam outfit and they’ll happily keep taking your money till you’re cleaned out. AVOID THIS WALLET EMPTYING SCAM !!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice soaps and ultra quick shipping

Absolutely superb shipping time. Ordered 3 bar pack Atlantic Pine Tar / Citrus Scrub / Irish Mountain Rain. Nice sized bars and good value (unlike Gruum soaps which was a very bad experience both poor shipping and abysmal small size of over-priced soaps)

I like the fact it’s a no hassle sale process - no in your face subscription models like the *cough* Dr. ******* American soap offering.

Nice smelling, not tried yet but have no reason to doubt judging by other reviews. Happy to recommend 10/10!

Being able to pay via Apple Pay is nice too no long forms and catchya tick boxes for a billion email offers.

Poor first attempt.

I got some (assume samples) in the post from paying P&P on my spectator subscription. What arrived shocked me. I’m glad I never paid full price as I would have been infuriated.

One bar if you can call it that looked melted and they ALL had a horrible waxy sticky consistency to them.

Result? All going in the bin thank you. A very disappointing first try at gaining a customer and they have failed miserably. I’ll stick to the othe artisan soap sellers out there. Nice packaging but a poor product. Update: they replied and wanted order numbers to resolve - nope. I’m not communicating, a lost customer is a lost customer. You get ONE chance in business to impress and judging by recent posts this lot fail consistently. 🤬

Christ Almighty. You’d be forgiven for thinking this was a search site for your next hound from Battersea dogs home. A site FULL of the most ugliest undatable 50 Tats on each arm women. Even after 20 pints you’d have to think twice taking one home. 1 - day premium is a complete rip off and crock of 💩 . Steer WELL clear unless you want to see trannies and the butt ugly mingers that wouldn’t be out of place at a crufts show and I don’t mean the owners 🫢😩🤮 … awful site and complete 💩

A decent lender for a change

A no fuss application process. Easy , painless , no awkward questions or sending 3 years of bank statements to be pored over by prying eyes. From initial application to the money in bank 25 minutes. Now THAT’S customer service. Decent APR as well not 3 billion % like some of the pre payday legislation rogue lenders. Do I recommend ? Yes 110% if you need a short term loan these guys are the ones to go to, it was almost too easy. Just make sure you have funds in the bank on the due date repayment dates. They have my custom now. Superb. If I could give 6 stars I would. 😉

Worst laptop I’ve ever purchased from new.

Having read a lot of the 1 star reviews I’m glad it’s not just me. I bought 2 years ago a HP Laptop with W11 on it model 15s-eq1542sa W11 was so crippled and slow I had to downgrade to W10 just to make the laptop usable. It’s been a nightmare AMD proc and Gfx chip but the laptop is slow beyond measure, consistently gets slower as the day goes by and the only way to speed it up is to restart it. This is my daily chore - consistent restarts. This is by far the worst laptop from new I have ever had the misfortune to purchase and I rue the day I did. Nothing but problem after problem. It came with a meagre 4gb memory which I upped to 16gb abd it only has a 128Gb NVME in it, talk about tight fisted manufacturer. I can’t even do anything decent on photoshop as it’s so abysmally slow even with the memory upgrade it just crawls along. Suffice to say I will never ever buy another HP badged product and looking at the problems folks have with their printers - it’s a definite wide berth for me. If you wish to retain your sanity steer well clear of HP products. Never again EVER !

Mediocre system not without its pitfalls.

Where do we start? Firstly ZERO communication from the housing provider save a letter saying you’re getting a door upgrade then a photocopied sheet posted thru the letter box telling you that you need to download an app in order to use the intercom. Found out early on if your phone is set to reject unknown numbers nothing comes through and the call which originates from a FRENCH number goes to the unknown call log.

So you have to add it on your contact list. I work from home and cannot be disturbed during the day with callers so I have to see DND mode to avoid the app going berserk.

Contrary to what they say there is NO off switch on the apple iOS app that lets you switch it off. The only plus point is where the tight fisted HA gave everyone one key fob 20 years ago now I have 3. Yipee !! Video quality is appallingly 💩 too.

Ambulance chasers in a different pin stripe suit.

One of the many cases they took regarding the Woodford Fund debacle. 4 long years of waiting with little in the way of meaningful or hopeful communication and at the end of the day a disappointing recommendation to take the settlement of a paltry £90 of which I paid a ‘win’ fee back to them.

Not so much unprofessional just disinterested in fighting the clients corner. I knew it would likely end badly but not ‘that’ badly.

I was one of the lucky ones in hindsight, some retail investors lost upwards of 50-100k plus and more.

Would I recommend? In all honesty - No. Would I re-engage them for future claim work? No.

Scammers and illegal software sellers

Looking at all the ‘verified’ reviews they’re all pseudo names with country flags against them. These guys are known scammers and the software you ‘buy’ isn’t legitimate. These bottom feeders operate from either China or Russia and basically the software is crippled or has compromised installation files. Avoid at all cost. Repeat AT ALL COST!!!


Update it’s p!$$ed them off being ‘outed’ sorry to disappoint but geographic location is no indication of lawful activity. You’re selling either compromised code or activations you’re not authorised to sell. Why would Adobe let YOU sell for them with their base package of £9.99 a month. There would be no profit in it. And don’t think that the ruse of ‘we have asked for more information’ will deter me from outing you scammers as I will simply repost on a handle you don’t have access to. You’re crooks and that’s all the public need to know.

PLUS a diligent search on the Adobe Certified Partners page comes back with ZERO for “softwareshore” or “software shore”. What a surprise - not. You’ve been outed well and truly.

THE worst VPN I’ve ever had the…

THE worst VPN I’ve ever had the misfortune to pay for. The connection starts off ok - then it grinds to a bloody halt a while later especially on Opera.

The CS flunkeys can save the pre canned BS response - you’re expecting people to pay for a premium USABLE service yet it delivers oh so little.

I would have though coming from CERN you could do better seeing it was a bunch of egg heads that thought it up.

It really is a p!SS poor show. I’m tired of rebooting my laptop due to your crappy VPN connection can’t hold up the speed.

This month is my last subscription. Bloody awful speed and it’s just NOT GOOD ENOUGH 😡😡😡💩💩💩

Edit: I’ve just rebooted my laptop and set the bog standard Opera VPN to start …. Guess what? the speed is perfect , no glitches like Poor Proton VPN.

I’m sure this service must be farmed out to some Chinese bitcoin farm stealing a bit of your bandwidth every time you log on as it really is utterly total trash and complete rubbish.

The other 1 star comments back me up on that.

You are best avoiding this - my subscription ends Monday - guess what? I won’t be re-subscribing it really is a blatant con of a service.

I’m watching the upload / download speeds on Wireshark and the data packets.

Save your money folks you WILL regret subscribing as I have.

I thought I’d give you the benefit of the doubt but you’ve failed.

The bottom line is this

1: don’t BS customers about line speed as you have in other responses and

2: if you CANNOT offer a FAST paid for service give it up - DONT CON PEOPLE 💩😡

I’ve looked at the processes on the laptop too and god is Proton a memory grabbing app. No wonder my laptop (2 years old) grinds like a Windows XP 20 year old laptop.

Well presented and packaged

Well presented and packaged. Relatively quick to ship. It’s a nice sipping coffee , individual sachets in a box of 12.

I got the mojo / flow ones. Each sachet is good for one medium sized coffee , don’t expect to put it in a Star****s mug it’ll be too weak.

If I’m honest - it just didn’t work for me, I felt absolutely no difference after a few days not even a tiny bit.

They do like feedback and are quick to come back on social media to ‘resell’ the product to the disenfranchised but regrettably I’m not sold on it and having tried several capsule extracts from Amazon they too didn’t impress me, overall a niche artisan coffee with lots of contenders muscling in on the new found ‘shroom’ fad of Nootropics and ‘adaptogenic’ coffee.

Nice coffee IMHO but nothing to get exited or worked up about so i won’t be placing a second order I’m afraid. You have to try things once and if they don’t work you move on. Which I have.

Currently sourced a larger pack with 10 different 🍄 additives and in a better value format. £17.49 for 12 single cups plus p+p. Isn’t value for money, again in my personal and honest product bought opinion.

Try it - you might get the buzz they claim but I didn’t.
