Something has changed on Badoo. I don't know what they have done to the app but it's a complete mess now
A big and thriving app has turned into a ghost town. I left it in favor of AFHotty.com
Because I have a lot more choice there. There are more women and they're quite active. Badoo is so boring now. It's actually so unbelievably dull and lifeless that it's simply unacceptable for a paid dating service. What I'm trying to say is there is nothing special to pay for. Even if Badoo was free I wouldn't use it any longer. I value my time.
Absolutely Awful

Absolutely awful no other words to describe this site and Badoo need to get their act together.

I was talking to a friend in need.
A friend who is at wits end.
A friend who needed someone.
I would have gone to him, but I'd been drinking.
This friend was on the brink of suicide and I asked him to come over and I would pay for his fuel. I was banned. How disgusting ypu are. Lowest of the low.

Scam
I joined up to this site because it had good reviews, but I’m here to give a bad one. Basically, they’ve taken my money, and immediately blocked me for “breach of guidelines” before I’d even finished setting my profile up. I’d not even used the app. I’ve contacted the police, and all the other relevant authorities. Do Not Use This Site.
One star and that’s generous- there are only men who use the app as a porn site, crude, uneducated, porn addicted and depressed men looking for attention
One star — and that’s generous.
Badoo isn’t a dating app. It’s a digital playground for emotionally stunted, sexually entitled, and commitment-phobic men who want attention without effort and sex without substance.
You won’t find serious, grounded men here.
What you’ll find instead:
* Men who breadcrumb you with sweet talk at night, disappear all day, then come back expecting you to play nice again like nothing happened.
* Ghosters, charmers, and ego-hunters who think a kiss emoji and a “wyd” is enough to earn your energy.
* Married men, cheaters, and verified creeps who use the app’s anonymous features to live double lives.
* Manipulators who pretend to want something real — right up until you show standards. Then they either mock you, test your patience, or vanish.
The app is under-moderated, the culture is toxic, and the good ones — if they exist — are buried under a sea of bare-chested selfies, porn requests, and “just seeing where it goes” time-wasters.
I didn’t get ghosted.
I got disgusted.
And then I deleted the app — and got my peace back.
If you're a woman looking for respect, depth, or real conversation, Badoo is not your place.
It’s for men who want the illusion of intimacy with zero responsibility.
Save your time. Save your self-worth. Choose better.
I joined badoo 2 years ago and never met any genuine women in Devon
They cancelled my free membership because they failed in all of it's purpose.
I have met people on baddoo previously
I have met people on baddoo previously. I had more luck in my early 20s , opposed to now.
I would say, woman have to be careful who they meet online, and with a large amount of requests woman get, it's frustrating for men as it's a raffle. A woman looks on what you can fulfill to her life. Men more "she looks hot, or she sounds friendly" (it's a generalise). But it's how it is. As I'm older I understand the landscape. It does tend to exploit men for money, who can't get matches. Advertises woman on adverts, when only a small percentage of men would get matches. A man won't advertise the 1 match he's payed for or fake accounts. I find dating sites build resentment for men and encourage a better way to seek dopamine as it can build anger and resentment towards woman. It exploits men for money.
Badoo is the worst dating app
It is one of the worst dating apps and nothing but wastage of time because Badoo closes the account without any valid reasons. I urge the daters not to waste time on Badoo.
Poor for over 50's or those looking for deeper connections
After seeing conflicting information from various dating site reviews, which I suspected were sponsored, I turned to Trustpilot, which did seem to confirm my worst fears about most of the sites reviewed. Reviews for Badoo seemed better than most, with the main complaint being from people who had been locked out of their accounts for alleged violations of rules. I figured that had to be better than some of the horror stories associated with other sites.
Having joined, and experienced Badoo, I felt I should leave a review to explain some of the other downsides of the site.
There are three main problems with Badoo. First, Badoo is very visual oriented. There a dozen questions though most people only answer a few, and choose one of the 3 or 4 suggested answers. There are 3 "dating questions" - e.g. "What's your ideal first date?". Members are invited to choose up to 8 categories from a list which best describe their interests. And they are given 500 characters to sum themselves up, though most people don't even fill in that many. In other words there is little written information on the profiles, many have almost nothing but photographs. This makes Badoo more suitable for those looking for more superficial connections guided mainly by visual attraction. For over 55's, whose potential partners are, shall we say, less photogenic, it makes for a less than uplifting experience where members' least attractive attributes are those showcased. To be fair, things are made worse because hardly any members try to make the most of their 500 characters, to get across their personality.
The second problem is that the Badoo app / web design is far inferior to sites I was using 10 years ago. There are icons whose meaning is not explained (I discovered that clicking on the icon of clapping hands sends a "Hello" type text message to the person whose profile is being viewed). There are various "features" which can make it impossible to correct mistakes. I accidentally hit "Send" before writing a message, so an empty message got sent. But I was unable to send a second message until I'd got a reply to my empty message. I cannot see a list of those whose profiles I have "liked", only those who've liked me (for some reason mainly Thai or other oriental women, most of whom are probably living overseas though they give their addresses as in the UK). The website is dumbed down to match the app, but is even harder to navigate (e.g. I had to go to the phone app in order to change my default picture).
I ended joining twice because Badoo couldn't match my verification photo (taken live from my PC) to previously uploaded photos, the problem being that somehow the site had bypassed the uploading stage, and there was no opportunity to try again to upload. Attempts to explain this to the support team resulted in a few automated messages suggesting I try to retake the verification photo, then when I persisted in explaining why this would not work, and asked for a human being to take notice and produce an effective solution, I was told my issue had been reviewed, and I had been barred from the site. (Having had this experience I would be inclined to believe others who have been barred when they complain that Badoo is unwilling to justify their actions beyond saying that rules were broken).
The third big problem is a lack of information. After joining as a Premium member for a year (a big mistake) I discovered there was a higher tier, but I couldn't find out anything about it because there is no upgrade route, I'd have to unsubscribe from my current membership level (which, as it had cost £100 was not going to happen). The higher tier made reference to features not explained anywhere I could find; "chats" (though I can send messages as a Premium member), "shows", and "crushes". I believe these can be purchased ad-hoc using an in-app currency "credits". I'm generally pretty good at finding where a site is hiding useful information, but I think sites such as Reddit would turn out to be the best places to discover the ins and outs of Badoo.
All in all I've found Badoo to be frustrating and ineffective site, and having seen what £100 has got me I've felt no inclination to spend good money after bad to explore these microtransational features. After all, if the site did what it was supposed to, people would not need to pay extra in order to find dates. Badoo are incentivised to provide a poor service in order to encourage people to buy extras.
In summary I'd say Badoo is best suited to younger people looking for casual dating or willing to take a punt based mainly on a person's physical appearance, and who can live with the site's limitations. One star as I'm not intending to use it further despite being a Premium member for another year.
Sexual abuse and embarrassment
There are a lot of people on here want to show you their bodies and private pets and what they would like to do to you and ask you to go to other websites to do this I do do not do anything about it. I’ve asked for a refund and it is hard to get in contact with anybody. I would not recommend this site to anybody.
I wonder ful experience ✌️👌😁

My account got deleted today not sure…
My account got deleted today not sure what the reason was but I think it is very slight. They just delete blocks people for no reason and there’s hundreds of fake profile scammers out there and they just blocked the wrong people. I’ve never use that site again.
One of the worst dating apps out there
One of the worst dating apps out there. They can block you anytime, for no reason at all. Sure, you can try making a new account, but good luck with that—there's no guarantee it won't get blocked again.
You could be on your best behavior, not doing anything shady like interacting with minors (God forbid), dealing drugs, spamming, or threatening anyone, and still get blocked. Some people get offended by the simplest things, like a harmless "Hi." Next thing you know, you're reported, and bam, your account is gone with no explanation.
Meanwhile, I've seen users with fake pics and multiple accounts somehow flying under the radar. It's a dating app, for god's sake. If starting a conversation with another user is considered offensive, what are we supposed to do? Use formal language to avoid hurting anyone's feelings?
Seriously, this app is a joke. If you value your sanity, stay away. Unless you're okay with talking like a robot. It's supposed to be a dating app for ADULTS. If two grown-ups agree to have a private conversation, why block them? This app is supposed to be about dating, yet they'll block you for no reason, even if you've paid for your account and followed all the rules.
Their support is a complete waste of time. They’ll mock you with responses like, "Guess why we blocked you." Avoid this app if you have any self-respect.
Can't message anyone even with premium
Got 3 months premium but found out after that it doesn't let you message contacts unless you pay more for credits. And of course you can't get any refund ! A complete con - like all the other 'dating' sites that only want you for your data and your bank contents. Modern day pimps praying off the bad luck of others.
Give BADOO a WIDE berth like the women on there 😵💫
Christ Almighty. You’d be forgiven for thinking this was a search site for your next hound from Battersea dogs home. A site FULL of the most ugliest undatable 50 Tats on each arm women. Even after 20 pints you’d have to think twice taking one home. 1 - day premium is a complete rip off and crock of 💩 . Steer WELL clear unless you want to see trannies and the butt ugly mingers that wouldn’t be out of place at a crufts show and I don’t mean the owners 🫢😩🤮 … awful site and complete 💩
A scam that preys on lonely people
Here’s what happens ….
You sign up and within minutes you get loads of likes with blurred out faces.
Then you get invited to reveal who likes you but have to pay money to show them.
So …. Cos you’re sad and lonely, and genuinely want to meet people, you pay up.
Then it reveals Chinese folk, fat people, ugly people and people that live nowhere near you.
What happens next is you get no likes whatsoever for the entire month you have signed up for.
Total scam.
Sad little website
You can’t even send text messages to the bots. And it’s filled with OF models or s workers trying to find the next job..
Sad little website..
