Review of Action Fraud

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Action? What Action?

The DVLA tell you to report the fraudulent removal of a vehicle grom its database to Action Fraud. I tried. Signed up, logged in, but their rigid form wouldn't accept it, because I am not a victim. Twice I tried. No luck so I hit chat. David joined and he told me to advise the DVLA and report it online or to Action Fraud via a number. I explained I had tried online it didn't work, and that DVLA had told me to come to you. I told him I was extremely ill and couldn't do this. I asked 'aren't you Action Fraud? By which i meant why couldn't he take the details down which I'd already given. All he said is he could only deal with fraudulent sales of vehicles. My issue goes unreported. Lazy staff, inflexible systems, bad attitude, not customer service, not encouraging. Fraud yes, ACTION NO!

Future Pension Centre: Back to Soviet Era service

I have rung the Future Pension Centre 8 times and been cut off every time. The option it asks me to choose no 2 is completely silent, and after a few seconds cuts you off. It is laughable that before you get to this point, you have to listen to a entire spiel, including a warning on unacceptable behavior. In my opinion this behavior by DWP is unacceptable. Finally I deliberately chose the wrong option just to see what would happen, and then I was told you have to ring between 9 and 3! It's 4pm, people work full-time, how the hell do they expect people to get in touch when they close at 3pm what is this a primary school the service is appalling, unacceptable, and reminiscent of Soviet era service. This is supposed to be a PUBLIC SERVICE but it serves us public badly, and they forget who pays for it:US. Sir Peter Schofield KCB, as Permanent Secretary for the DWP, you should be ashamed that this is happening on your watch. Time to sort it out and serve as better.

Review of Ikea

Saga of the 3 bath mats

I wanted to order 3 more Sandersojn bath mats, two dark grey and one grey-brown. I've reordered these before without any problems and I collected them from my local Coop pick up, less than a mile away. Not so this time.I had to go through the entire order process only to be advised at the very end that I could not collect anywhere apart from Ikea's Warrington store, (110miles round trip) but I could select a different delivery option, which I did, somewhat resentfully: Paid for home delivery. Ok the bathmats were reduced so I thought it was fair enough. But then I was informed that only the dark grey mats were available for home delivery, the grey-brown ones were not. This does not make sense. Is this the 1970s? Is IKEA a state owned monopoly whose union will only deliver one colour at a time whether you want it or not? It certainly is not at all customer focused and to its own detriment. Nor can it be said to be a green company, if it expects its customers to drive a 2 hour round trip to pick up three little bath mats. Who benefits from from this customer alienation? IKEA are perhaps still too comfortable, but in their drive to lower prices they have sacrificed the customer experience, and if this nonsense is what comes with a simple purchase, we will simply vote with our feet and go to retailers who value us.

NB date of attempted order may not be exact as I tried several times last week

Update to my review

Update to my review. These scammers said I hadn't responded requesting return labels within the 30-day period following delivery. LIE: I did I responded 13 days later on the 27th of December, however they now claim never to have received my email LIE. I even sent them a copy. They used ads now banned in the UK, to sell heaters Trading Standards deem dangerous to lure in a 75 year old with dementia to order hundreds of pounds worth of them, then offered an amazing discount but still too much and WRONG. I urge all of you to ignore all the FAKE reviews.... These are criminal scam merchants who prey on the vulnerable and I for one hope they get either get caught or worse for the anguish they have caused. Lithuania: where corruption reigns supreme and this scum get away with it.

DO NOT BUY ***SCAM***

DO NOT BUY ***SCAM***
Wellheater.com - Also known as:
LumiHeat.com
AliveBlue.com
Heyhelp.cc

Based in Lithuania
Goods shipped from Indonesia
Billed GB

Their website owners hide behind an Icelandic company and laws trhat keep trhem private but put the rest of us at risk

They scammed my husband 75, who has vascular dementia, of £198. I told them, asked them to cancel. They said the items had been shipped (not true) and only refunded warranty fee and said we could return the heaters. Four weeks later the items arrived badly packed and the packaging was damaged. I sent them photos and requested the pronmised return labels. They began, not by apologisinvg and being helpful, but by dictattiung term andf telling me I'd havre to pay for any return. Then they offered me a 35% repayment if I kept their heaters. I rejected of course and asked for labels so I could fretuen the items and
get a full refund. They never sent the return labels.
Everything ab out this screams scam. They sell under one name, in our case Lumiheat, yet appear as Wellheater on my bank statement. Their helpdesk changes names too, from Lumiheat, to Aliveblue and Heyhelp with images of "Viktor Rachel or Magi" all AI generated imagesn on generated.photos.com, not real people. It is a CON and a SCAM. AVOID THIS BUMCH OF CRIMINALS THEY WILL ROB YOU

Parcel ostensibly delivered to unknown neighbour

Yodel emailed me saying my parcel had been delivered to my neighbour. Where they should have entered the house number of that neighbour they entered "MRS BH" instead. I do not recognise these initials and none of my neighbours have these initials. No photo was included to show where the delivery took place. How can I know where my parcel is? They must expect me to knock on all my neighbours' doors to ask if it's them. In Spain you need 2 forms of ID to even take delivery if a parcel because of thefts yet here we are allow operators like Yodel to be totally lackadaisical and careless. It's wude oprn to abuse. And when you track a delivery you can't easily get hold of anyone to talk to. Yodel want you to download their app as do all the other (atrocious) delivery companies. They to the needs of those they deliver to. I feel they treat us with sheer contempt and disdain. We the recipients. We are not customers who purchase their services. We just get what's sent and I firmly believe that our needs and wants just do not factor in the operations of these delivery companies like Yodel. I'd like to see them address this deficit and seriously up their game. Don't forget, I might be just a receiver this time, but I also purchase parcel courier & delivery services and I value my customers. So unless things change Im unlikely to choose Yodel.

Hi Gavin, I am sorry that the parcel shows delivered to neighbour, however you are having trouble to locating your parcel, and driver did not mention which house number it has delivered to. I understand how confusing and worrying that must be. I apologise for the inconvenience caused due to the experience. I would really like to have a look into this for you. Please could you email trustpilot@yodel.co.uk with the full name on the parcel, delivery address with postcode, contact & tracking number, along with a link to the review? Thank you, Yodel Team.

Hi Gavin,

Thanks for your review.

We have a no-contract & short-term broadband page which displays deals from 1-12 month contract lengths. You can then filter for 'under 12 months' to see strictly no-contract deals.

If you'd like more help with this, please feel free to contact us at rewards@broadbandgenie.co.uk.

Beautiful but the size isn't quite…

Beautiful but the size isn't quite right. Normally L but their sizing chart showed I should order XL which turns out to be a bit too large. Maybe it'll "shrink to fit" ad they used to say in Grace Bros. Clearly they need to get their sizing sorted although I know that can't be easy with what they're trying to achieve. Nonetheless the item is well made lovely fabric and maybe it'll encourage me to put some more size on. Why the hell not. Might be the encouragement i need. Good top though and nice feel on the skin.
