Parcel ostensibly delivered to unknown neighbour
Yodel emailed me saying my parcel had been delivered to my neighbour. Where they should have entered the house number of that neighbour they entered "MRS BH" instead. I do not recognise these initials and none of my neighbours have these initials. No photo was included to show where the delivery took place. How can I know where my parcel is? They must expect me to knock on all my neighbours' doors to ask if it's them. In Spain you need 2 forms of ID to even take delivery if a parcel because of thefts yet here we are allow operators like Yodel to be totally lackadaisical and careless. It's wude oprn to abuse. And when you track a delivery you can't easily get hold of anyone to talk to. Yodel want you to download their app as do all the other (atrocious) delivery companies. They to the needs of those they deliver to. I feel they treat us with sheer contempt and disdain. We the recipients. We are not customers who purchase their services. We just get what's sent and I firmly believe that our needs and wants just do not factor in the operations of these delivery companies like Yodel. I'd like to see them address this deficit and seriously up their game. Don't forget, I might be just a receiver this time, but I also purchase parcel courier & delivery services and I value my customers. So unless things change Im unlikely to choose Yodel.
