Excellent Service

Just migrated from WHMCS. The first thing I have to say is the support is first class, Paul was REALLY helpful with migration issues.

Blesta is much cleaner than WHMCS less cluttered and faster to work with once you get over the learning curve of changing admin areas.

Only one little criticism it could do with a better text editor in admin that would allow linking text within paragraphs instead of having to insert HTML blocks, especially in the knowledge base functionality.

Over all though very happy with it.

Don't do it!

Don't do it!

I have to agree with the other posters. I received the same sort of treatment they did. Spent $88 in total, the product had errors all over the place.

I asked for the guaranteed money back they advertise, they say up to 60 days I asked on the same day as purchase. In the end I asked THREE times and each time received emails just offering upgrades. Why would I want more from them when I did not trust their first product?

Now they have stopped responding to emails and I have been forced to open Paypal disputes for all three transactions.

I don't get it, why not just produce quality products, honour your promises and gain long term clients?

Going down hill fast

Going down hill fast. If you are going to force all your customers to use your app MAKE IT RELIABLE FIRST!

Every time I try to pay the monthly payment the app hangs then I have to spend 30 mins on the phone messing around with your 100 menus and waiting to talk to someone.

Why you can't offer online as well as app like all other credit card companies is beyond me.

Ever consider not everyone wants to bank on their phone?

Great so far. Ordered a microwave after a few days it started making a really loud noise. They apologised and have sent me a prepaid returns label to send it back for fixing or replacement.

Nice to see a company with great customer service.

Waste Of Time

Had this reader for a while just used their invoicing system to invoice a client. A few days later I get an email telling me cloud services (I host websites) are not allowed and they can no longer provide the service.

My account is now suspended.

Their TOS page or their business exclusions page do not list web hosting or cloud services and I clearly stated the nature of my business when I joined.

Contacted chat and after messing around for 30 minutes waiting and talking to "Support" she said she could not find the issue and to email support.

I have an additional new business selling a food product for delivery I was going to use this for too, not anymore.

I don't think I will bother messing with their silly hoop-jumping, who has the time? Things are hard enough with the pandemic do not need this company adding more stress to my days. Quicker to sign up with one of your competitors there are plenty to choose from.

They also want me to return the card reader I paid for. Happy to do that Sumup when you send me back the money I paid for it.

A real bunch of clowns

A real bunch of clowns

Let's start at the beginning of the issues.

1. After being a customer for 5 years without ever missing a payment theydropped my credit limit by nearly 4K to within £200 of my limit. Had I not made an immediate payment this would have resulted in fees for going over the new limit at next statement.

2. Fast forward to their Covid payment holiday, I am an entertainer so completely lost my living. I took the first payment holiday, then renewed it for a second three months.

Despite them assuring me it was renewed they later reported me to the credit agencies for a missed payment. I contacted them they admitted it was their error and said they would remove the missed payment strike still waiting for that.

No compensation for all the time wasted and the impact on my credit rating. Nothing!

3. I got some money together to pay off the card the payment was processed by the bank all the usual OTP and security hoops, I am redirected to the AMEX site and it has logged me out. The payment did not go through, called AGAIN try later in the week. I did same deal, called them AGAIN, please use a different browser. A day later it did work.

I call to close the account and get the usual we are sorry to see you go can you tell us why. I list the above and point out that they repeatedly make mistakes and all they ever give customers is lame apologies.

He then tells me he will refund the late payment fee. I said you should have done that when you spotted your error falsely reporting me.

He again said we do appreciate your loyalty and custom. I said really? Because your actions do not match your words. If I make a mistake you charge me, you make several mistakes I get NOTHING

He said I can credit your account with 1000 nectar points. Woo hoo £5 that is what incorrectly affecting my credit rating is worth to AMEX?

The company is a JOKE when it comes to customer service, they make promises they do not keep and when they make mistakes which in my case was frequently they offer no compensation just lame excuses and apologies.

PLEASE choose another credit provider. These people do not deserve your custom.

And the farce continued......I got so fed up with them I moved some cash around and paid the card off completely. The next day they sent me an email saying "We are reducing your credit limit to £1000" Guess what AMEX? You can reduce it to 1p for all I care I would not give you one penny. You are a bunch of incompetents and don't deserve anyone's business!

ANOTHER UPDATE*******************

Weeks after paying the card off in full and closing the account someething which they assured me had be done on the phone, Amex sent me a bill for £88.51.

I called and asked how a settled closed account could have a balance, the first response was it will be your final interest. I asked to speak to a manager and was told it was an error and should not have been charged and would be cancelled.

You could NOT make this up!!!! If you deal with this company make sure you note down times and dates of calls and who you talk to. They repeatedly LIE to their customers.

If you are considering taking a card with them please do not. They do NOT care about their customers and will only cause you stress.

Great deal and support

Purchased a very high spec Dell workstation at about £1000 off the list price for the same spec new. I must admit I was a little unsure about spending so much on a refurbished machine but it is indeed just like a new unit.

After ordering I had some doubts and their team called me to make sure the machine would suit my needs before they sent it.

When It arrived it wasn't as fast as I expected but I quickly discovered that they had installed windows on the data drive rather than the SSD drive so that was an easy fix, hey we all make mistakes every now and again.

Then I noticed the data drive was noisy annoyingly so. The team said I could either call dell who would send someone to my home the next day to fix it or they could collect the machine and replace it. Great service no complaints there.

I opted to call Dell they sent an engineer the next day who arrived and fitted a new drive.

Note here the deal includes 3 years next-day on-site service from Dell what is not to like.

In short, a few teething problems but they can happen when desktops are transported and they were all solved within a day. I now have a blazing fast awesome work station with 3 years of full service for about £300 more than you would pay for a decent gaming desktop.

Recommend this company.

Underhand and dishonest!!!

This is indeed very deceiving, one assumes when you buy a lifetime license for software that it is for the software not just on one PC.

I love this little program but will not be buying another license, it is bad enough that my Pc gave up the ghost without AVS adding to my financial burdens especially while not working during the corona lockdown.

I also used to recommend this to a lot of my entertainer friends a few of whom I know purchased it too, I will not be doing that anymore.

Disappointing, underhand and misleading. If you go to their checkout page you will notice that when buying an unlimited license it DOES NOT state it is tied to the machine you install it on and can not be transferred.

I will be replacing all AVS4u software with software from a more reputable company.

If you happen to read this AVS little note for you, read this thread, a lot of your customers feel cheated that is not a good way to run a business. Be more honest!

I understand the need to protect your software from piracy but ripping off your existing customers is not the way to do that, most software including photoshop and the like allow you to reset licenses you own when replacing a computer.

Can you imagine if all software companies were as draconian? Every time a computer was replaced people would be spending thousands.

I am a pro entertainer who lost his livelihood completely a few months ago, I have been recording new comedy songs to entertain the public even though I am not being paid to do so. Unlike these thieves I am not all about "Money"

With no income, it was bad enough that my PC died and had to be replaced now they want me to pay for lifetime software again.

I have contacted trading standards regarding their deceit and recommend the hundreds of other people that have been deceived do the same.

BE VERY CLEAR THESE ARE NOT LIFETIME LICENSES IT IS A LIE PURE AND SIMPLE!

Been paying this company for over 2…

Been paying this company for over 2 years never missed a payment. They then announce what THEY call a payment break. It is no such thing. Banks currently not charging on overdrafts, giving interest-only payment breaks on loans even the council giving breaks on council tax.

This company say we will give you a 3-month break then after the three months, your payments will jump up by £80 a month so we can recover it. They could not possibly extend the agreement by three months and just charge a little extra interest.

This is not a payment break it is a delay! You should not be able to call your offering a payment break. Disgusting!!

Absolutely shocking do not waste your…

Absolutely shocking do not waste your time.

I ordered a $100 VPS from them. We started the set up here is a list of the issues in no particular order.

1. Depreciated DNS software installed. Opened a ticket they replied saying it was fixed it was not. Lots of messing around taking screenshots of WHM and posting them in replies.

2. Asked to have cloud linux installed was told I could not as they did not support it on their vps. THEIR VPS? The whole point of a vps is being able to choose your hosting environment this was supposed to be my VPS. They DO offer it on their dirt cheap shared accounts, their reseller accounts and their dedicated servers but not on the VPS.....insane!

3. VPS was litespeed powered I specifically asked when ordering (they had two versions not worded the same as the litespeed packages on the litespeed site) if I was ordering the version that worked with the WordPress litespeed caching plugin. I was told YES. HOURS later after migrating one site I realise they have just installed the server litespeed but not the caching module so I was NOT ordering the right version despite specifically asking before I ordered.

4. After migrating the first site and waiting for them to sort out the litespeed issue I ran a GTMETRIX speed test. Time to first byte uncached was 2.7 SECONDS!!!!! Shocking!!! Their processors are 2.4ghz so very standard.

5. Along the way there was a dns issue they said wait for propagation, when that was really slow I asked again and they had not edited a DNS zone on the machine correctly. Bear in mind this is supposed to be a fully managed VPS.

On the Cloud Linux issue I actually found the support staff rude. It was very much a case of "We don't support it sorry" I asked what practices they had in place to cage accounts or balance resource usage if I couldn't use cloud linux. Was told they do not cage accounts and it was up to me to monitor my clients for over use of resources so much for fully managed I would have thought usage monitoring would come under server management.

All in all I wasted a whole and very long day trying to get a managed VPS set up and never got there. Half way through the process I got jittery with the level of service and asked for cancellation, then after calming down thought I would give them another chance. 7 Hours later I wish I had not bothered.

The final chat I had was with sales as I was not getting a reply from billing re upgrading the lightspeed to the more expensive version. Perhaps 15 comments back and forth, that would normally be what a 2 -3 min chat. Nope, the replies were that slow it took 40 minutes while I sat there waiting like a moron.

If you are looking for seriously fast VPS with quality support unfortunately despite their claims it is not at A2 Hosting.

Shocking A2 you are nowhere near as good as you think you are.

Didn't even get started with them

Didn't even get started with them. Contacted sales chat to ask questions which of course people will do before choosing this company for something as important as your business accounts.

I get 3 questions in and she replies to my question with "I would love to help you more but we have limited resources if you want more help read this (A page I had already read) or email this email address.

What kind of support is that? Insane! Glad this happened when it did I would not touch this company with a barge pole. If that is their level of pre-sales support I certainly wouldn't trust their member support.

Perhaps you could spend more on support and less on expensive TV ads.

This year I went back to give them another try after a friend said they had a good experience with them. After signing up and wasting about 3 hours I find out they only allow a single PayPal account for a sole trader. This is totally ridiculous. Many sole traders have more than one small business and each of those businesses will have separate financial accounts. This is totally useless to me. Support is marginally better though.

I LOVE this company

I LOVE this company. They really do provide a professional, no quibble, customer service based service. I have bought equipment from them several times. Latest purchase was a set of 15" powered speakers which to be blunt I did not like, the sound was just a little muddy.

Try to return equipment like that to other companies and be ready for a fight, not with this company. I called, said I did not like the sound, they sent a courier the next day to collect the speakers and refunded me two days later.

They are easy to get through to on the phone and ask for advice.

Nothing bad to say about this company.

Very disappointing!! Went in and asked for a low fat chicken salad with boiled potatoes. Even asked if the meat was grilled or fried if it had been fried I would not have ordered it. I was told it was grilled.

Food came the chicken seemed like the cheap compacted chicken texture was all wrong and it was indeed greasy. The boiled potatoes were dripping with butter, they even put cheese on the lettuce, there were fatty croutons it was the complete opposite of what I asked for.

In fairness the waitress was very polite and did refund the meal but still it was a VERY VERY poor experience. This company need to realise people are becoming more health conscious and short of ordering a place of lettuce there is NOTHING on their menu remotely healthy.

Check it out online a lot of their salads are 500 to 600 calories more calories and fat than a Big Mac.
