Gear 4 Music rock

Gear4Music rock! Bought a new line 6 radio mic from them in Nov the last couple of weeks it has started cutting out. Called them expecting the usual fight to return an item they said "no problem we will send courier tomorrow afternoon to pick it up as soon as we receive it we will just send you another one"

Ok I did buy an extended warranty for £17 when i bought it but even so it's good service.

Took payment but items not in stock.

Just signed up, ordered trousers and get an email saying they have issues and they will not be delivered for approx 4 weeks as there has been higher than usual demand.

I have no desire to give your company a 28 day loan of my money. Modern shopping websites have stock management there is no excuse for this.

First and last order with this company.

UPDATE AFTER REPLY BELOW******
You are missing the point if you do not have this item in stock then ordering should not have been possible and therefore funds would not be being held against my card and I would not be wasting time emailing you. Stop passing the buck and sort out your website. I Build e-commerce platforms and I don't know of any that do not have stock management.

In addition, I did email you days ago to cancel the order and have not received a reply.

Hi Gary

I'm really sorry we've been unable to supply the trousers you wanted straight away. If you pay for goods by card, we only take the payment when they are despatched, however your bank may hold the payment until we request it.

If you would prefer to cancel the order, so your bank releases the funds, please let us know; you can then order at a later date if the trousers are still required.

This is an awesome company

This is an awesome company we ordered a new tumble drier on a Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning they were in our kitchen unpacking it and took all the waste away. AWESOME service highly recommended.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Here is my experience with booking a house move for my daughter.

1. Mis-quoted by Shift allowing just 2 hours for a 4-hour move. They were told in detail what needed to be moved. They allowed just 2 hours from Leeds to Lincoln it takes that long just to drive there. What about loading and unloading? Perhaps this is intentional so they can charge £80 per hour overage charges. We caught that and increased time to 4 hours.

2. I was then sent several confirmations not belonging to me containing other peoples moving details including addresses. So much for data protection. I will be contacting the ICO about this.

3. When I called the driver to ask if my daughter could travel with the van he knew nothing about the job.

4. The driver was changed new driver he called me asking what needed to be moved, obviously concerned about van size, I put him in touch with my daughter. They were AGAIN FOR A SECOND TIME told in detail what needed to be moved by my daughter.

5. The two-man team turns up and it is a man and his 15 year old son according to my daughter. I paid for two men.

6. They take two hours to load the van because the first time they did not put big items in first and had to empty and repack. Long story short the van was obviously too small. They then tell my daughter the job will now run over but they will turn off the shift app so there are no overages if she gives them £40 cash. She is pressured at this point as she feels she has no choice.

7. Shift uses premium numbers to call them NOT stated clearly on their site.

8. When offered a complaint link by Shift chat I was sent to a different website not shift.

9. Called the driver to ask why he charged my daughter £40 because he mis-packed his van. He told me he was trying to save me money as the company would have charged me £80, he told me my daughter lied about how much had to be moved. Both he and SHIFT were given an EXACT list. He got so agitated I just hung up. He then called my daughter moaning at her.

10. Received resolution emails with a link to monitor the dispute, the link went to stripe payment processing website.

11. Their website is not secure.

12. Every email you will get will be from NOREPLY@ so you can't
reply to their nonsense.

13. All the live chat support is in the Philippines.

The whole thing is atrocious and reeks of a scam. I will be performing a partial chargeback on my card and be reporting them to the ICO

Look at the reply below the same copy and pasted, grammatically incorrect message posted to all bad reviews. They are DREADFUL.

Wasted Day Waiting For These People

Waited in all day for collection no one turned up. No communication nothing!

Thought I would go direct to courier "My Hermes" who wanted me to contact them TOMORROW to arrange a collection time. They told me this was a glitch that happened now and again. From what I see on here it is a little more often than now and again.

The chat support was difficult to find on the parcel2go website, when I did find it I was offered a re-book, yes I am going to risk staying in another day for no one to turn up. I asked for a refund and despite paying using Paypal who issue refunds instantly am told it will take 2 working days to process. Even more great customer service.

Do not waste your time with these middle men. Go direct to the courier.
