Waste Of Time

Had this reader for a while just used their invoicing system to invoice a client. A few days later I get an email telling me cloud services (I host websites) are not allowed and they can no longer provide the service.

My account is now suspended.

Their TOS page or their business exclusions page do not list web hosting or cloud services and I clearly stated the nature of my business when I joined.

Contacted chat and after messing around for 30 minutes waiting and talking to "Support" she said she could not find the issue and to email support.

I have an additional new business selling a food product for delivery I was going to use this for too, not anymore.

I don't think I will bother messing with their silly hoop-jumping, who has the time? Things are hard enough with the pandemic do not need this company adding more stress to my days. Quicker to sign up with one of your competitors there are plenty to choose from.

They also want me to return the card reader I paid for. Happy to do that Sumup when you send me back the money I paid for it.

Anyone reading this please do check their exclusion list below you will see that web hosting is NOT listed as a prohibited type of business.

The fact remains this company totally wasted my time and money. My recommendation to avoid them stands.

Unfortunately, the type of business that you have described is not within our scope to support. This is due to restrictions in our business license as well as agreements with our banking partners.
