Never trust the owner of Gpldownloads.com. I paid him my monthly subscription, but I downloaded four items in a row, and then I got a email for account termination. No refund will be provided, and the owner was very rude when replying like a small child handling things on his father's behalf. Gpldownloads.com is a pure scam. Do not trust him, and he is not only operating one site but many GPL sites, so he doesn't care if you post anything wrong about it. But please stay safe and avoid getting scammed by this site owner.

This website is completely unreliable and untrustworthy. They can change your membership conditions at any time, limiting what you originally paid for and leaving you with far less than expected. There is no real protection for buyers, and their support team does not provide any fair resolutions.

Well...what can I say about this website? I first came across this site about 7 months ago when I was wanting some WordPress plugins. I subbed for 1 month on the basic package and got talking to the support guys on there, the plugins were all genuine and trustworthy which meant a lot to me. After about a week I decided to pay for a yearly group licence for a particular plugin which was unbelievably hard to come by on the net.

This was installed very easily and hassle free and the support was so friendly and helpful, so much.....so they couldn't do enough for me to be honest. That left a lasting mark with me it really did. After I had got all my plugins sorted and updated on my website I discontinued my monthly plan leaving just the yearly group subscription remaining.

7 Months later......I had migrated my website to another domain name and didn't realize this would have caused issues with that particular group shared plugin I'd bought off them (cheap too).

So after realising this I created a ticket asking if this could be migrated across, shortly after sending the ticket I realized by reading the sites FAQs that this was not allowed, so I closed the ticket and didn't expect any help (fair is only fair and I respected this).

Then to my surprise I was contacted by the amazing support staff and they offered to migrate the licence for Free! That's an unbelievably good service, I can't thank them enough I really cannot.

Because of this I will be re-subscribing every quarter to update my WordPress plugins. I know you can scour the internet for dodgy free alternatives but you know what..when you can TRUST a solid supplier like this who charges pennies for their products and works extremely hard to provide such a service then we need to support these small businesses.

This review is an honest and genuine reflection of my experiences with them Unlike some of the Scathing reviews I have seen on here about them! I don't Believe any of them at all because my review is time served with them and guess what I will be staying, WELL DONE guys keep up the good work! Amazing company!!

I don't leave reviews often, but I thought I had to do to the misleading negative reviews that are obviously fake from people breaking the rules or reselling.

I first signed up to the service in 2019, so I have been a long member, and I can say that the owner has been nothing but nice whenever I needed to contact support, which is hardly ever. Mostly for version updates which were updated usally same day or next day.

Inventory beats any other site out there.

Friendly admin. A good selection of GPL plugins. If there is an issue, the admin solves it in a couple of hours.

The admin of this fraudulent GPL website has changed the email credentials and login permissions without my consent. The owner of this website is a thief and takes your money without letting you downloading any of their files.

I purchased 7.75$ monthly subscription. But my subscription plan and purchase hystory showing null in my account. Asking again to subscribe. Not able to download any plugins or themes. I lost my. Money.. I want refund my money...

All plugins themes are clean .
I see a lot of bad reviews here from obvious peoples fake reviews trying to destroy a busines to drive traffic away.

I had a negative experience with gpl downloads. Items are not updated, website is slow (need to enter captcha) and support is rubbish. Pricing plans are too expensive.

Fake plugins. gpldownloads just download items from yukapo and change the version number manually. everything turned out to be fake. a nightmare
Edit: NO I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT ANOTHER DOMAIN. The only thing you do is trying to deny every bad review by saying it's fake or a competitor but you have let them verify each review via the trustpilot feature and they have to proof themselves. So every bad review here is more than true!!!!

I'll be honest, I was a little nervous to make a purchase after reading some of the reviews. That being said, the process is easy, and paying via paypal really helped to calm my nerves. They delivered exactly what I ordered within a few minutes. I have my plugin already running, and all seems well.

From my experience, they delivered what I ordered without hassle or delay. I will very likely make additional purchases from them again.

Deceptive website. GPLDownloads is a deceptive website with no remorse for its clients. They ban all your accounts without any notice and their customer support is way too rude. When you ask them a simple question about installing a theme, you don't get an answer or it will be a harsh one.

Very basic questions are not being answered. Why I don't give a one-star review? Because their repository is quite big, that's only the unique advantage of this scam-fest website.

hello this service took my money. slow download speed, took my money without activating my account, responses are slow, download speed is slow, i do not recommend this service at all

GPL Downloads is a nightmare. They block your account without getting notified. Their support is not available when you need help. RUDE RUDE!! Their response time is VERY slow and this is really bad for my WordPress website. I PAID for ONE YEAR!!! I couldn't even download for a month, they took $99 FROM ME. I think they are a bunch of scammers.

This is the worst GPL website so far. We've been a customer for a very long time and out of a sudden I noticed that they changed my account into a guest account. I don't know what it means, but we're not able to download anymore.

This is why GPL Downloads is NOT recommended:

1. Rude and unhelpful customer support.
2. Accounts will be banned without any further notice. We're filling a chargeback with our bank company.
3. This company will take your money without delivering what's being advertised.
4. Slow download speeds.
5. They change the design of the website every month. Download buttons are in weird colors.
6. Bad communication: when you got an issue, they act rude and don't help you at all.

The owner of this website keeps reporting this review. While I keep editing it, I will make sure it will be kept online 100%. This website is not worth my money, they blocked my account and the owner ran away with it.

On the first look, this site looks great. It seems to have a ton of different plugins and the annual fee is low.

Let’s make this quick. The fee is low because the owner of the site does not care. Plugins are up to a few versions behind and you receive popular plugins with instruction on how to hack them.

Basically, you pay for nothing. If you want to hack software, you can just go to the dark web and get this “service” for free.

The site owner suggest this as the reason that you have to modify your plugins. (this can be found in their FAQ section). It’s pretty nonsensical as you have to trust a vendor because you have no idea if a file has been altered or not.

An all GPL sites (besides this one) give you working plugins. Once you notice you paid for nothing, you will not get a refund.

GPL Downloads does not offer support, pay programmers or own any staff. The very nature of a GPL site is to offer working plugins. And to update them timely.

In this “easy money” field, you will find some scammers. Sadly, at the point when I fell for this site, there was no honest review available.
