Can’t fault them for the price

Can’t fault them for the price. Yes you can buy better but you can also pay a lot more. I bought an uplighter light and for the price it’s beautiful again you can get better when up close but hey for the price & who goes that close? I then purchased a matching free standing lamp and again very quick free postage and lovely item. I did phone customer services prior to purchasing the lamp and the young girl or sounded young anyway was lovely, polite, professional and understanding not forgetting the no quibble free returns guarantee

Breath of fresh air

I can only comment on my own experience. I recently had a bloody awful experience dealing and ordering from HP direct with them and never again. Atrocious does not cover how bad they were regarding a new purchase. Anyway, I ordered a Brother from Viking instead, it arrived the very next day, courier very helpful, I plugged it in, followed the instructions and hey presto lovely new working printer. I downloaded the app to make connecting the wifi easier and registered it with Brother plus also entering a cash back claim with them. It did however state if I don’t receive email confirmation to contact them so I have just phoned them and a lovely lady was really helpful, checked my registration and claim and has confirmed it all by email so all I can say in these early stages is well done and Thankyou Brother, all is good so far

Fantastic service

Fantastic service. Just had a really bad experience using HP (direct with them) and still awaiting my refund (be warned don’t order from HP) so it has been a breath of fresh air using Viking. Everything has been smooth, order, delivery, being kept up to date, being able to track the delivery and finally the delivery and set up. Just waiting for Brother to return my email now but that’s nothing to do with Viking. Well done and pat on the back Viking. Happy customer

- 5 Stars. Atrocious service

If i could give a minus star I would. The worst possible ordering experience and customer service I have experienced in my entire life. Please don’t use them. I ordered a new printer after seeing my mother in laws but the trouble I had with the order is unbelievable, customer service were absolutely atrocious and getting a refund just dragged on and on. Don’t do it. I went for a Brother printer instead from Viking, it arrived the very next day and is brilliant, far superior service than HP and I thought going direct would have been better than Amazon, Argos, Curry’s etc but how wrong was I

Euston London, easy, quick professional

Arrived at Euston station in London having already booked Stasher. I must admit it was brilliant service for the cost. Storage shop was 100 meters from Euston which I already knew. My tip is check the location opening times as I had to cancel my 1st booking as I realised it was going to close at 5 and wasn’t sure we would be back to collect in time but it was no problem as refunded and I booked again with another shop which was open until at least midnight. Overall service was easy, quick and professional so yes I will be using again

Do not use or invest as you might lose control of your money

UTTERLY DISGUSTED!
I am not normally one to leave negative reviews but I am absolutely appalled and disgusted at the service I have received so far and the length of time it is taking to pay out my personal pension and so I recommend anyone looking at a pension LOOK ELSEWHERE! I am 60 in 6 days and I was paying into a civil service AVC pension for over 10 years before I changed jobs. I enquired about taking my pension in a lump sum 9 weeks ago and was told to phone up the day before I turn 60 as it only takes about 45 minutes to complete a 2 stage process to have the funds in my account. I was happy with this but Something was bothering me so I phoned again a week later and was told a complete different story and to phone back in 7 days to commence the withdrawal of finds. 7 days later I phoned to be told a complete different story again and that I needed to complete some forms to transfer it to a personal pension also with Scottish widows so that I could then claim it, bizarre! I received the forms, completed and emailed them back. Then I heard nothing so I phoned yet again to be told the account had been closed and that the money had be transferred to my new provider but I insisted it should be with Scottish widows but no they insisted it wasn’t and couldn’t tell me where it was. Panicking now I emailed and phoned again to be told don’t worry it’s in the process, but where is it, no idea was the response. I received letters telling me it had been transferred to my new provider and then one from Scottish widows telling me it had been transferred to…… Scottish widows with finally a new plan number. I could now chase it up again, simple right? Wrong! I phoned yet again and emailed as someone surely must know where my money was, it might be small but £17,600 is a lot of money for me. Again and again and again I keep getting fobbed off, we will phone you back, but no call comes, we will email you the outcome but no email comes. Today I was informed it’s in the process but there is something the admin team need to sort out but don’t worry it’s not your end but ours. Ok so when will I get my money, errr no idea, sorry just rest assured it’s not your fault. Just give me my bloody money. This could have been a much larger amount and I could have been relying on it to survive & if this had been the case it would have caused me so much stress and possible ill health and Scottish widows simply don’t care. I have been pushed back and forth one lie after another and I am still no nearer to knowing when I will get my money. I am disgusted with the whole process. Never ever again will I or my family use Scottish widows

Edit 1 - funny how I get a quick response when a negative review is posted, just a shame I had to be put through all this unnecessary stress & unfortunate i wasn’t given a satisfactory reply in the 1st place but I have a feeling that your reply posted on here is solely to nullify my negative review and therefore try to make yourselves look better! Well Let’s now see what transpires if anything does & I will update this later

Edit 2 - as fully expected the Scottish Widows published response below was just to keep the public at bay and to look like they are acting on things quickly and professionally BUT I HAVE HEARD NOTHING FURTHER after another 4 days has passed and after over 9 weeks of chasing and being passed from pillar to post. I am 2 days away from being 60 which is my retirement date. Awful, truly awful service and a sheer lack of care or compassion shown when I have spoken to someone.
Edit 3 - I won’t hold my breath as it’s been passed to ‘your team’ several times over the last 9 weeks or so with the last outcome being “we can’t do anything until the problem on your account is resolved”! What problem?

Edit 4 - retirement day/60 years old!
Not heard a thing direct from Scottish widows, no apology, no pension (due today), no update and no idea what the hell is happening. A complaint was raised last week but my pension is due today but still no end in sight. I’m just grateful I’m not relying on this pension to survive on like so many other people in my position would be. My main pension from another provider has paid out without question, no hassle, no problems, on time and date.

Terrible online application process

Recently applied to open an account online with The West Brom. 1st of all I have never had so much trouble opening bank or building society accounts as this in my life and I have opened 6 in the last 12mths, yes obviously I have money to invest. Well I followed the procedure, answered the questions and uploaded what they required me to upload and applied only to receive a letter a week later stating that due to demand my application will take longer, that’s fine but another week later I receive an email stating we are still working on it sorry for the delay and we are no longer accepting new applications followed by another email stating thanks but no thanks as you didn’t apply correctly. What a bloody joke of a building society you are West Brom & I’m actually pleased you turned me down because I will take my £150k to a proper building society now. Your loss

Used Matt twice last year to fit shutters to 2 bedrooms. Matt came to Shrewsbury to measure up and quote then returned once the blinds arrived. He was utterly professional on both occasions and over 12mths later both shutters are working like he fitted them yesterday. Will certainly use again in the future. Thanks Matt

Charged at Ilford

Charged a Merc EQC at Ilford where I was delivering it too, over a week ago. Used contactless as it wouldn’t accept my work fuel/charge card and have a week later still been charged £51.25 with £6.25 still pending. Have no idea of the actual cost yet and need a receipt to claim this charge back. Contacted MFG via their own link for a receipt and nothing! Pathetic and worst charging company I have ever come across for customer satisfaction and I use most travelling the country. Hopefully I will eventually find out the cost of this EV charge

Hi, we are very sorry to hear about the issues you had at MFG Goodmayes on the 21st December, we believe we have been able to locate this charging session which was completed on Charger 4, commencing at 08:22. Your vehicle consumed 64.879kWh with a final charge amount of £51.25. Your account would have reserved the pre-auth amount of £45 at the start of the session and then an additional amount of £6.25 once the charging session was complete. The £6.25 “pending” amount was therefore in addition to the pre-auth amount (£45+£6.25=£51.25). We were unable to find any evidence on this charger that a fuel card had been attempted, please contact your fuel card company to make sure these are accepted on our Charge Points. If while at one of our chargers and you encounter this issue again please don’t hesitate to call our dedicated EV Support line, the details of which are located at every one of our charge points. Worst customer service experience in my…

Worst customer service experience in my entire life. I don’t normally write negative reviews but enough is enough. Ordered garden furniture in April 2021 understanding long wait of 2-3 months for delivery but least we thought we would get some use in summer. After many many emails from them it eventually arrived in October!!! If we had known we would not have ordered it. Then the saga continues as I kept chasing up delivery and each and every time I had to fully explain again what my problem was because even though I replied to emails they tell me they cannot see the original email, what a right pain in the back side. Then eventually I was told because of the poor service they could offer me a £60 gift card which would arrive at most in 30 days. Approaching 40 days later and still waiting. Again I have chased this up and again they can’t see original messages and I am being passed from pillar to post with no bugger seemingly wanting to help me. A really horrible customer service experience from start and still not finished. And I only spent £1200!

They will reply to emails eventually, last one took 3 weeks but getting through on the phone even in an emergency none existent! Saying that they’ve hiked their prices this year but having shopped around they are still cheapest

Give them a break

I have given you a 5 star review because your service is usually top notch, we are suffering from unprecedented worldwide problems and Netflights themselves are suffering too like other companies and so have reduced staffing.
I personally have £9k invested in family flights to Orlando 5.4.20 and have requested a refund and been ‘put on a list’. I have however emailed and requested confirmation of when and if the request has actually been submitted to Delta but not as yet received any reply from you. I do appreciate how very difficult this is for you though in these troubling times and I hope to continue using Netflights in the near future as you have always been a very good professionally run business.
