Charged at Ilford

Charged a Merc EQC at Ilford where I was delivering it too, over a week ago. Used contactless as it wouldn’t accept my work fuel/charge card and have a week later still been charged £51.25 with £6.25 still pending. Have no idea of the actual cost yet and need a receipt to claim this charge back. Contacted MFG via their own link for a receipt and nothing! Pathetic and worst charging company I have ever come across for customer satisfaction and I use most travelling the country. Hopefully I will eventually find out the cost of this EV charge

Hi, we are very sorry to hear about the issues you had at MFG Goodmayes on the 21st December, we believe we have been able to locate this charging session which was completed on Charger 4, commencing at 08:22. Your vehicle consumed 64.879kWh with a final charge amount of £51.25. Your account would have reserved the pre-auth amount of £45 at the start of the session and then an additional amount of £6.25 once the charging session was complete. The £6.25 “pending” amount was therefore in addition to the pre-auth amount (£45+£6.25=£51.25). We were unable to find any evidence on this charger that a fuel card had been attempted, please contact your fuel card company to make sure these are accepted on our Charge Points. If while at one of our chargers and you encounter this issue again please don’t hesitate to call our dedicated EV Support line, the details of which are located at every one of our charge points.
