My daughter owns a 15yr old Corsa. On Saturday, she had her steering/wheels aligned/balanced by Kwik-Fit in Fleet, Hampshire. A day later she drove 190 miles from Home/Hampshire back to Norwich as she’s a student at UEA. On the journey back there was a terrible noise coming from the engine bay. My daughter is no mechanic, so I remotely tried to book it back in at Kwik-Fit, but in Norwich. They were very dismissive and finally suggested we take it to National Tyres on Dereham Road, Norwich.

I spoke to “Steve” at National Tyres, expressing my concern about my daughter’s car, and hoping it wasn't anything fatal. Steve said that whilst he couldn’t look at it right there and then, he booked it in for the following day (today).

My daughter has now picked the car up, and the fault… an entire Kwik-Fit socket toolset left in the engine bay, on the air-conditioning fan.

The reason for writing the review… is that Steve was the most helpful and accommodating, friendly, genuine person I’ve come across in this service sector. I will definitely use National Tyres again.

Booked online for wheel alignment and included registration number, drove 20 miles for appointment. First thing asked was does car have lane assist. The answer was yes and I was told they didn’t have right equipment to do the work! Given how many new cars have this, I would have thought they would have included a question this in the booking process and saved me wasted time and wasted charge! Appalling service!
To cap it all I’ve just had an email from Halfords saying they’re sorry my appointment was cancelled and inviting me to rebook as though it was I who cancelled…

Quick to take your money, tires are perished and dangerous after about 3 months,not so quick to reply to emails when there are issues.

Guarantee is worthless DONT BOTHER WITH THESE COWBOYS

Just mention the excellent service I have always received from the National tyres autocentre in Norwich. Mark the manager and his team are great. I have had an issue lately with Halfords customer service who blamed him, this was not the case. He kindly refunded money, but more than what I was asking for.

Mark and the guys are always very polite and more than willing to talk about issues and faults that are typical of older cars. I had four tyres replaced at the Norwich branch recently along with oil and filter change. They always give an honest appraisal of the vehicle and recommendations based on necessity for safety reasons. I have been using thi branch for 2 years since moving from Poole and intend to for the foreseeable...Great stuff, well done

Ordered and paid £229.49 for stop start battery for my BMW X3.
Booked into Norwich branch to be fitted today. All done online. This morning, the branch called me to inform me, they don't supply and fit stop start batteries. I asked why the website took payment , the staff member said the website is not good. I would get a refund, but it can take up to 7 days.
He advised me to contact their sister company Halfords, as they supply and fit. I asked if the supplied the same battery, he didn't know.
I went on the Halfords website and the only stop start battery they supply is £252 plus £27 fitting. I now to to wait for my refund before I can order and have fitted a replacement battery.
Not good !

The simplicity of there website is absolutely outstanding.. Easiest and quickest format from looking, buying, booking location and paying.. As quick and easy as Halfords.. 10/10 from me

I needed 4 tyres quickly. Checked on line and Dereham Road branch had a choice in stock, all at competitive prices and had a time slot available within 3 hours. I arrived 15 minutes early and the fitters were available, so they started immediately. The job was done in 30 minutes. I stood outside and watched the guys work and they were quick, organised and meticulous. In addition, the staff were all polite, friendly and cheerful. In my experience, during several visits over the last few years, this branch never fails to provide the very best standards of customer service. The company should be proud of their employees and the fitters should be proud of themselves.

Online very easy to use. Would recommend National Tyres to family.

Finding the right tyres for my vehicle was simple using the registration number search bar. The selection offered was brilliant and being able to book for same day fitting meant this doesn't need to eat into work time and spoil the bank holiday either.
