My first time buying from this company
My first time buying from this company. Ordered 4 items & returned 1, 48 hours after delivery. 3 weeks later, still no refund, no email, no update. I Emailed customer service and had a reply that my issue was being referred to the relevant department, 3 days later I sent a chase up email, end of week still no response.
My return was 48 hour postal service, they have had it for nearly 3 weeks and have held on to my £150. Dumbfounded that a company that prides itself on luxury & being built on British excellence can have such terrible customer service. Clearly need to hold on to customer’s money for interest when their clothes are pricey & just above high street brand quality. I’ve never put a bad review up before on anything so this is how disappointed I am!
Lost a loyal customer over a button
I’ve been a loyal Holland Cooper customer and have several of their pieces, which I’ve always loved for their design and quality.
Unfortunately, my experience with customer service was disappointing. A button came off my Amoria Flared Jeans after very little wear, and I was told there’s absolutely no way to get a replacement; not even at my own cost.
For a premium brand that promotes craftsmanship and sustainability, it’s surprising that they don’t support small repairs. I hope they reconsider this policy.
Poor Quality and customer service is horrendous.
I have to say, for a brand that is positioning itself as a 'premium brand' the products are very hit and miss.
The customer services is also horrendous. I have chased customer service so many times on returning a product for a exchange after i returned the faulty product and they sent the incorrect product as the exchange. Be better Holland Cooper.
Three Weeks On – Still No Resolution
Beautiful brand and concept, poorly executed.
Returned a faulty item that Holland Cooper received on 22 September. I was told it would be processed within five days as per their policy, yet over three weeks later I’ve had to chase repeatedly and been passed between departments. Reading other reviews, this appears to be a recurring issue. I’ve made several purchases with the brand and have always loved their clothes, but this experience has been extremely disappointing and falls below the standard expected from a company that markets itself as luxury. The ongoing delay also breaches my consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Surprised to learn most pieces are made abroad given the strong “British made” message.
Sadly, they’ve lost a loyal customer in me.
Ordered jeans in a petite size
Ordered jeans in a petite size. Arrived with no logo on them and of very poor quality. Had to chase several times regarding and was eventually advised to return them for inspection. Chased after almost 2 weeks with calls and emails. Had no response. Called again today to be advised the product Had changed yet the website is not updated. Now have to ho back and hunt out my tracking number as apparently they haven't received them???

I have brought alot from Holland & Cooper over the years from there Bicester shop to Cheltenham to ordering on line all have been more than extremly helpful. There returns are easy tho Iv only ever returned a couple of items … it is one of my favourite choice of clothing from casual to dressy all very chic,classy & well made with eye to detail. Packaging is always to perfection which I love , the tiny details which are Important are all there …every month I think there’s something in my basket 😂

Ordered and paid for a jacket which was never delivered. To date I haven’t received my refund for £180. Atrocious service, not responsive customer service.
No communication, no refund
I purchased a coat online, it arrived late, no communication when I chased up. I used the label provided in the box to return the coat.
I am yet to receive any form of communication, an update on my order/return or a refund!!
The service is non existent yet very active on social media.
I would avoid buying online at all costs!
Poor customer service and product quality
I bought a padded coat in March 2023, ready for the following winter. Within a year, the zip tore slightly at the bottom, making it difficult to fasten and causing it to pop open.
Customer service were initially helpful, offering either a replacement of a different style (my coat was discontinued) or a 15% refund to cover a repair elsewhere. I chose the refund, expecting to simply replace the zip — but after visiting several repair shops, none could find a compatible zip.
When I reached out again recently to ask if the brand could provide a replacement zip, I was told they don’t offer parts and that, because I accepted the refund, they have no further responsibility. Even when I offered to return the refund, no alternative support was provided.
It’s disappointing that the solution offered wasn’t actually workable, and that a repair option isn’t supported. For a “luxury” brand, I expected better product durability and aftercare.
Really poor customer service experience
It’s so interesting reading the other reviews on people’s experience with the customer service team at Holland Cooper. I’m actually shocked at how poor the service is for a ‘luxury’ brand. No response from customer service, my items were squeezed into a box that was too small so arrived like rags and you can’t return online items in store. Very bizarre service model. Once I’ve got my items exchanged (whenever CS get round to responding to me) I definitely won’t purchase online from Holland Cooper again.
Great Customer Service and support
I bought two jackets and a gilet from Holland Cooper; realising I needed them sooner than thought, the staff ensured I received them on time by changing the postal to 24hrs. Once the clothes had arrived, I was super pleased with the quality and sizing which fits me well and as described. I am definitely using them again and would recommend them too!

Clothes were lovely but returns experience poor. Denied my parcel had been received when it had, unwilling to implement a simple return, and when both items eventually refunded I was not notified. They declare customers need to wait up to 10 days for returns confirmation and this is way too long compared to other high profile retailers. If using this retailer KEEP YOUR RETURN SHIPPING RECEIPT! You may need it
Absence of any customer service
I used to be a regular client but HC are not what they once were. Items not delivered. Three emails to customer services ignored. Will have to initiate an Amex chargeback. Not a premium service and I will not be buying again, Noticed that every product seems to be made in China now.

I 'stumbled' across this brand a few…
I 'stumbled' across this brand a few months ago, when I saw a pair of ugg type boots in a magazine but had never heard of the Holland Cooper brand before. I then tried to find a boutique local to me to get a feel for their sizes. I went to the Bicester store and it was like being a child again in a toy shop. Everything looked stunning, high end, and the customer service I personally received was absolutely fantastic. I left with several items and am slowly replacing my wardrobe with HC items. I have so far bought several pairs of jeans, jumpers, a knightsbridge jacket, trainers, loafers & sandals & a winter coat!!! The quality is amazing & I feel great when I'm wearing their items.
When I have had to return anything, the process has been swift & easy.
Appalling customer service
H C customer service is appalling. 16 days after a Yodel tracked return I am still awaiting a refund. By law they have 14 days to refund so are already past that. I have had to start a chargeback with my card company to get my money back. I am reporting them to trading standards in Cheltenham.
Its a TEN from me!

Luxury brand WITHOUT the luxury experience
Order placed on 28th September
Received half of the items on 6th October with no explanation as to the reason.
Emailed customer service and got an automated response saying reply would be received within 2 working days, no reply!
Called customer service to be told the other item in my order was out of stock throughout the business and asked if I wanted a different colour instead!
It really shouldn’t take the customer having to email / call to chase a refund for items that are out of stock. If I’d of not called who knows how long they would of sat on this for?!
I had similar issues last year which stopped me shopping with them, but after a year I thought they might of got their service in order so decided to try again! Nice products but not a nice shopping experience! Will not purchase from them anymore.
Much better experience with other luxury brands, will keep my custom with them going forward.

Definitely the worst company ever to deal with. I have sent mail after mail to their useless customer service team and nothing . I can see they have had my return by the tracking but over two weeks now and nothing refund or reply. BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM AND YOU THINK YOU MIGHT HAVE TO SEND IT BACK . I’ve now put it in the hands of my credit card company to get my money back. Returns / refunds very poor service
Two and a half weeks after returning two items valued at nearly £600 I am still waiting for a refund. Having had no communication I feared that perhaps the return parcel had been lost but on phoning I was told they had received the parcel two weeks ago (thankfully but why no confirmation of receipt?) but that it would be another 5-10 days to process a refund. What supposedly premier supplier holds on to customer refund money for 3-4 weeks? Disgraceful. Good products but I for one will never buy from them again.
