Failed delivery, awful service
As others have said, appalling delivery. Due to a mistake at their end, I was faced with a customs demand of £70, or 40% of the order value. Obviously I didn't accept the delivery/goods. But they won't repay until they receive goods back, and the goods have been stuck in their delivery system since early August. I had to pay before I received their goods, but they don't understand that I should not be bearing the costs and risks of their system. And they're not so polite either. I've been a customer for years and the knickers are great. But I won't order again and I advise others to be careful.
Absolutely shocking experience - AVOID
Absolutely shocking experience. Do not buy Wolford tights online.
I made an order for just over £141 and now I have been informed by Royal Mail that there is a customs duty of £41.49 to pay on top of this.
I wrote to Wolford customer services who informed me that they were having “technical issues”. I either have to pay the customs charge and then get reimbursed or wait for 20 days for Royal Mail to return the parcel and then they would start the refund process.
In summary: I did not receive the goods I paid for because of Wolford’s mistake and yet I remain out of pocket. This is unethical.
Avoid. I shall never ever buy Wolford products again.
Appalling – order never delivered, now receiving payment demands
Appalling experience with Wolford. I paid for my order two months ago, but it was never delivered due to their mistake - even their own tracking system confirms this. After admitting their error, they initially pre-confirmed a refund but then stopped responding to my emails over a month ago. Refund never received.
Instead of resolving the issue, they are now sending me payment demand letters for an order I already paid for but never received. This is completely unacceptable.
I am still waiting for my refund and a resolution.

Appalling. No update on orders and customer service non-responsive. Finally received refund 3 months after failed order and no apologies and only got this as Wolford US assisted. European online to be avoided.
Order placed August 22nd
Order placed August 22nd. Shipped on August 25th. Over 2 weeks later and there's no update. Tracking information still says "on way to destination country" for over a week. Emailed customer service and their email bounced back. Got a second email address and the reply I got was "please be patient ". So poor.

Never order from this company. They charge double VAT.
In the UK, it is impossible to dispute this — you pay VAT on the website (it says it’s included), and when the goods arrive, you get a notification for an outrageous extra VAT. I bought something for £150 and had to pay another £45 in VAT. Be careful — never order from them.
When you pay for products on the website, it states “included VAT,” but when the goods arrive in the UK, they are charged VAT again — this is a huge scam against the customer. Their customer service does not respond, and they even threaten that if you don’t collect your parcel, they will take you to court to recover the VAT.
When you ask why double VAT was charged, they reply that there is a “system issue” and tell you to pay it first and they will refund you later. I paid, but nobody refunded anything, and after that, Wolford stopped replying to my emails. Never order from them — this is a scam, not a brand.
Also, my order took almost 1.5 months to arrive. Be very careful with this company.
Missing Item and Lack of Customer Support
My order included 2 pairs of Pure 50 Tights. The parcel contained only 1 pair (plus another ordered item). I notified Wolford by email on 3 July and again on 6 July. No response. I also tried calling the number (given on the invoice and on their website): 00800 10 088 001. I got a "number not recognised" message.
Massive import charges to UK
First of all it is impossible to get through to Wolford itself anymore. Used to be a fantastic company but it is no longer. The Customer Services seems to be based in Croatia - zero response to my emails and phone numbers listed go dead. Fact is my parcel was late ; then for a couple of clothing items on sale but over a 'limit' I received a massive £65 import charge from UK customs. It is definitely something to do with Wolford who have not paid to protect the customer from this. I have ordered from a major fashion company in Italy with same kind of prices and received zero import charges. I will boycott Wolford from now on

I placed an online order for some tights. The item is available to be purchased as it allows you to select and finalised transaction.
However, once paid, received an email later saying that the order was cancelled due to no stock.
Why did the website still allow you to purchase the item when there is no stock?
Basically you need to buy (and pay) first and then they tell you if stock is available after?.
For a luxury brand, their online shopping experience is not good.
Their website give me no confidence in purchasing anything from them in the future. You don't know what is actually available or not even though website say it is available.
Dissaponted purchase for 120€
I purchased a bra last month for 120€, which I consider expensive. But I have trusted the Brand earlier, but this time I experienced a big disappointment. I even bought this from their shop in the shop. The side support was missing, and if you have 80D you should know better as a leader in the field that you need to provide the support. Now it is missing, and the bra spreads to the sides. Super disappointed and sad for the Brand.
A complete mess – never shopping here again!
I’ve had a similar experience to many others here on Trustpilot. I ordered items back in October but never received an order confirmation or shipping notice. The payment was taken immediately. I contacted Wolford multiple times about the missing confirmation and was assured that everything was in order.
After a month, I still hadn’t received my tights. When I tried to contact customer service again, my emails bounced back. That’s when I started to worry they might be going bankrupt (especially after reading similar stories here). I contacted my bank, and they reversed the payment.
Then suddenly, at the end of December, the items appeared in my mailbox. It was quite late, but at least I had received them. I contacted my bank again, and they reissued the payment. Or so I thought!
Now in March, I received a payment reminder in the mail. I was very surprised, as the money had been withdrawn from my account, so I assumed everything was settled. I contacted my bank again, and they got in touch with Nets, the company handling financial transactions here in Denmark. Nets has tried several times to transfer the funds to Wolford, but it’s apparently not possible.
I’ve tried explaining this to Wolford’s customer service, but they insist I must pay for the items again – plus a late fee. I absolutely refuse to pay twice for the same order due to issues in their systems. Now I’ve received a second reminder and am being threatened with legal action, despite having clearly explained that the issue is on their end.
What a farce – I’ll never shop there again!

Wolford are THREATENING ME WITH LEGAL ACTION, yep, that's right, because I dared to place and win a claim with Paypal to get my money back. They didn't reply to any of my messages nor answered the phone and when the item didn't arrive for weeks and I needed it for an event, I asked them to cancel the order and bought the item from a local shop. Still no reply from them so I had to claim through PayPal, which I easily won. MONTHS LATER, shockingly, the item arrived at my address and was accepted by my concierge. I didn't know what to do with it since they didn't reply to messages so I just left it in a drawer and I had no use for it.
However, the story didn't end there. They are now sending me a final notice threatening legal action and claiming I owe them the original order cost PLUS the PayPal charge back fee that PayPal issues to companies who don't fulfill the orders.
Now I have to seek legal counsel and make sure they can't bully me any further

I wouldn’t even give them one star, but unfortunately have too.
I put my first order in way back in oct 2024 and I was so cross at lack of communication from them that in dec I called PayPal and asked them to dispute the payment. Wolford refused to speak to PayPal and so PayPal refunded me the monies and told them the case was closed.
Since then I have had 3 letters from Wolford hounding me directly for the money and threatening to take me to court and they even had the cheek to charge me fees for PayPal not paying them.
I spoke to PayPal and they said the case is with them and Wolford should not been writing to me.
The ironic thing is their letter head with address and phone numbers and even email address are all incorrect, so when I try to call or email them it gets returned or there’s no dial tone.
Wolford is a luxury brand and I use to buy from them a lot. They use to use UPS for their shipping and it was always an amazing service. Nowadays I have no idea who they use as the items never arrive.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT. THEY SIT ON OUR MONEY, BUT JUST DON’T SEND OUT THE GOODS.
One of the worst buying experience ever
One of the worst buying experience ever. I placed an order in December. After almost 1 1/2 months or so no one wrote to me to inform me of the delay in shipping. I had to write to support. In the meantime, I requested a refund through the Paypal gateway. It is about 25 euros. The package arrived a long time later and they started sending paper letters in German (???) immediately asking for payment for the order received. Customer management for Wolford is probably not a strong point. They could have requested payment with a purchase voucher attached for example. Or with a letter of apology. certainly in English and not German. I do not recommend buying from this site.

Shocking! They want me to refund the PayPal dispute costs!
Timeline:
- Made purchase. 1/12/2024
- No confirmation of purchase via email.
- Online says shipping may be slow due to busy period.
- A month later 1/1/2025. Online says “processing”.
- On 1/1/2025 I email requesting immediate refund.
- On 2/1/2025 I receive email apologising for delay. I’ll be contacted when it ships. They IGNORE refund request.
- I contact PayPal for refund, which is honoured.
- On 14/1/2025 I get email saying order has shipped. Inside of email, it says it shipped via DHL on 30/11/2024.
- Tights eventually arrive. I asked for refund, which was ignored.
- TODAY 7/03/2025, I receive a letter, “First Notice” payment reminder letter telling me that I must pay for the order AND the PayPal Dispute Fee!!!
- TODAY 7/03/2025, I call the free customer service hotline. I get a recorded message repeated three times and then it hangs up on me.

Absolutely shocking company! Do not order from these cowboys !! Item ordered 10th December. Still not arrived and I’ve no hope of it doing so . Many many emails no further forward . Courier info says not delivered/damaged . The most unhelpful company ever !! Avoid like the plague! They just keep repeating themselves. I will take this further!!
