Support was perfect

Support was perfect. Quick, to the point and very helpful. No issues from me. Really happy to see where Plutus is headed. New features are a great PLUs.

Scam. You can not cash out rewards

Scam. You can earn PLU or PLUS as they have changed now, but you can not cash them out or change them back. Annoying scam.

Each upgrade was clearly communicated with 30+ days’ advance notice, including multiple emails, in-app messages, and social media posts to ensure full visibility.

+PLUS is a non-transferable loyalty reward designed for use inside the Plutus ecosystem. It is not intended for speculation or third-party trading. This has been clearly outlined across our terms and communications.

Its value is linked to practical, in-app utility, including travel rewards, discounts, and exclusive rewards, not external markets.

We're working on licensing to enable +PLUS token payouts. For now, they function as in-app points.

The conditions have changed without my…

The conditions have changed without my approval. I cannot have my money back. It seems that you are earning large cashbacks, but you can transfer only 1 plus (10 euros) per month even if you pay 20 euros per month, so it s not worth it. I am loosing 10 euros per month. I do not wish to buy any gift cards with large fees, I want to be able to swap PLU into euros with a fee less than 3%. Not possible here. Try crypto.com, they are safe.

You will only lose money

So many false promises. They deduct everything in FIAT and give you in PLU. It is however always a problem to spend PLU. 10 euro gift card? Pay 1 PLU and 7-8 euro commission. Convert PLU to EUR? limited to 10 euro a month and with 30-50% fee. Withdraw PLU or EURO? Not possible. PLU is constantly dropping in price. And if it is very low, they will increase the amount of PLU you need to have for a certain cashback (cash = PLU, not FIAT), so you drop in % or need to buy extra PLU. Wish I never started this, they are so unfair, constantly make false claims and constantly change the rules (never in your favor). And last: the 5 star reviews here are hired by Plutus to do so.

LOL. Great idea, but the execution is a total mess.

I’ve rarely seen a platform promise so much and deliver so little.

Plutus advertises 3% cashback, but in reality, that’s just not what you get. The cashback is paid in PLU tokens, and their real value is often way below 3% — more like 0.5% or less once you calculate it properly.

Same story with Perks: you choose something like Spotify, expecting a refund — but again, you’re getting PLU, not euros, and it’s not usable outside their closed system.

You can swap PLU, sure — but at a terrible exchange rate, making it nearly useless.

The customer support is friendly, but the only answer you’ll get is “It’s on our roadmap.”
Well, that roadmap dates back to 2023, and not much has moved since then.

Let’s summarize:
• No Apple Pay support
• No offline payments possible with virtual card
• Virtual card doesn’t work, and the physical card costs ~€9.99
• If you downgrade your plan, your account goes “frozen”, and you’re locked out of the app — including your balance
• Cashback is trapped — you can’t spend it on anything unless you exchange it at a loss

In theory, the 3% crypto cashback sounds amazing — truly unique in Europe.
In practice, it’s barely functional and not even close to competitive with platforms like Bybit, Revolut, or Nexo.

Maybe I’ll revisit when the platform leaves alpha mode. Until then, it feels like 2021 tech in 2025.

I have been an og member of the plutus shop for many years. Rising through the ranks I have attained a great status. I have gone to many of the plutus club get together and have met the highest members of the leadership team including the chief executive who is quite an inspiration of a gentleman with such knowledge in the industry. First I need to mention the great customer service, secondly the free gift cards and I must also tell you if the cashback. Thanks pluto for providing a 5 star service. Thieves!

They said my KYC verification has expired. So, I re-submit the required documentation. One day later, they say that they didn't received the documentation yet and suspend my account. They don't response to messages I sent them. Meanwhile I had two transactions, sent from my bank account to my Plutus balance account. Both transactions have not arrived at my Plutus balance account yet. Without answering me where the money is, they closed the support ticket. In my opinion, they are stealing money. I am going to prepare a case with my lawyer.

An absolutely appalling company

An absolutely appalling company! Started out with such promise, and eventually they took everything that people invested into it to gain higher reward levels. Now, any cashback you earn is now a new thing called PLUS, which you can only redeem £10 of a month, as long as you have a £20 a month subscription. Do not use! The customer support is also a joke, and the CEO clearly hasn't got a clue what his users want, or how to run a business for that matter!

They have sent me 10? cards already... none arrive
I have digital cards which I can't use on their own platform
I have pluton on their app but they have downgraded my subscription so I can't access it
Upgrading with their own card is not possible
This is a joke!

their customer service is just saying all should work and they close my tickets over and over

it' so sad... I have been a customer since the beginning and I kept believing in them...

with regards to the gift cards ... that's a funny one as well.
1st gift card 10% fee
2nd 20%
you can't believe this but I went to 80%
and one of the cards was not working....

Thieves, stay far from this company

Crooked company, stay very far from them. They deceive their users and change their policies every month or so to restrict your funds and rewards from doing anything. Their management team and owners are in on it, and cover up support issues with a bunch of fluff talk and new policies to shut everyone up. This company and its assets will likely crash in future and they will surely throw users under the bus as they have always done.

I don’t see any advantage

I don’t see any advantage, because we accumulate PLUS, but then I don’t have a way to use it, because I can only swap 10€ per month, and the gift cards don’t interest me, unless you add gift cards for supermarkets, real essencial things, not perfumes, gadgets or beauty products. And adding to this I have to pay 20€ per month for a premium subscription to be able to swap just 10€ . Sorry , but I don’t see any advantage. I have other cashback cards that give me 3% with no subscription.

Scam, never use them

They close support tickets without giving a decent answer, let you wait for months. Have to pay for a transfer to my external wallet even though I still have a free payout. Account downgraded without reason, get no reaction or they postpone giving a reason (and not a standard reaction). So never use them, because it's a scam.

Update 29-05: You're talking about "false accusations". Have a look at case #369432 and #359653. Both are open for months, no solution. Looks like I'm not the only one with Plutus problems, regarding all your single star reviews. So I'll quite Plutus and won't use it again.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid plutus at all costs. Used to be pretty good but forever changing t&cs, constantly moving goal posts to gain rewards, communication is diabolical, customer service is non existent, company owner has zero awareness on how to treat customers e.g. referring to them as low IQ, anybody who dares to speak out on reddit or discord get blocked and now they are facilitating fake reviews on trust pilot. Reviews that clearly have no idea what plutus even is. Beware of their mis leading marketing and if you want the truth behind plutus check out plutus uncensored on reddit.

Avoid and use ANYTHING else, honestly...

Long story short.

I had 3 free payouts on my account with them (as I've been an active member for years, on a Premium subscription since, and currently in Chad reward level and spending 2000+ GBP monthly), and when I got the newsletter from them back in March about the new "reward" system, I initiated a free payout to withdraw some internal PLU to my external wallet (so I'll have the control over that at least).

Obviously, Plutus took the 30 days to complete the free withdrawal (I know that it the "up to" transaction time), and today now that my withdrawal has been completed, I receive an email saying the following:

"Dear Badluckboy,

Thank you for your patience while we had a closer look at your payout request.

We’ve now checked your account against the eligibility criteria for free payout credits, which include factors like account activity, transaction history, and wallet usage. In this case, your account didn’t meet the required thresholds to qualify.

We know this might not be the outcome you were hoping for, but we’ve made sure all reviews were carried out fairly and consistently.

At this point, the decision is final and further review requests won’t change the result. If you’d like to make a payout, you can use a paid payout option instead before the new Dynamic Rewards go live on 8th May 2025.

Thank you for your continued support,
Plutus Customer Service Team"

Now Plutus have just decided to remove my 2 remaining Free Payouts from my account with an invalid reason, so I can't do another free payout to my external wallet before the 8th of May deadline - very nasty to do this. Just to repeat, this was the reason I was given: "include factors like account activity, transaction history, and wallet usage".

I am (was from today) using Plutus daily, and spent well over 2000+ GBP on it monthly, so this is ...

I had experienced and swallowed some nasty last-minute one-sided changes from Plutus throughout the years, but this was the nail in their coffin for me.

If you wanna do a favour and save some headache for yourself, never interact with them. They will just rip you off wherever possible, not to mention their non-existent customer service. Average response 2-4 weeks, never resolved my fraudulent charge on this card (had to change due to no response in 2 months) etc. I have an endless list of issues, but this is already too long :)

RESPOND on the reply from Plutus.it:
We've also provided customers with 1M+ PLU rewards as a promo-refund for 6-month subscriptions. >> Got this, but abandond this whole story as after spending well over £30k in 2+ years ended up with a 0 gain and loads of headach.

PS: when you initiated a withdrawal there wasn't a confirmation (this would be the minimum in my opinon) or the withdrawal fee displayed, I just notied I got charge 100+ multiple occasions from balance, even though I had free withdrawals on my account.

All related support tickets have been individually reviewed and responded to in detail. >> My last ticket is 3 months and rolling, so .. yeah, ok :)

Stealing cash in the chaos!

I'm seeing a lot of similar reviews on here to my experience, I was shouting about Plutus from the roof tops, certainly a great concept but perhaps too good as, at the moment, there must be some financial troubles. They seem to be looking to take as much money from you as possible with pressure tactics during this 'transition' phase. I was rushed into transferring out PLU as it was shortly to become impossible, did what I thought was correct, and they took cash straight off my balance. Note, they didn't fine me in PLU, as it's becoming worthless so they just took the cash! I've cancelled both memberships, so they've lost two 'loyal' customers which is going to cost them more in lost fees. Shame to see it go this way, it is total chaos.

Invalid giftcards? Though luck

Other than what the other reviews say, I would like to add another issue, the giftcards.
I have paid fees for a giftcard that is stated by the company that I'm trying to use it that it is an invalid giftcard.
Plutus support took 3 months to reply me back, told me to contact the company of the giftcard, and closed the ticket.
So yeah, don't expect the giftcards working either. As long as you pay the fees, they don't care afterwards if the giftcard works or not.

Company has completely devalued itself

Company has completely devalued itself, I pay £19.99 for a subscription that no longer holds any value externally, you earn what is classed as internal PLU, if you try and withdraw they charge you 33% of the external value, they offer gift cards in exchange for PLU and a dynamic fee that has never changed of around 90% of a gift card so you get 10% off. AVOID!!!

Greediness turned this project intoo a nightmare

This was a great promising cashback project, but the greediness of the team turned it into a complete scam.
Continous change of reward levels and plan prices, always trying to favor big accounts with huge PLU balance.
Since last year 2024, the project turned into a useless app, and when I tried to withdraw my PLU balance they suspended my account and asked for loads of documents that even your bank won't ask for.
Ended up closing my account and forfeiting my remaining PLU and even charging me subscription while my account was suspended.
Complete waste of time.

You really are shameless. These recent spat of paid reviews from India. You are nothing only a scam artist.

Edit: Flagged this recent review to try and have it taken down. You’re a disgrace of a company and a complete scam. It’s more than evident now to anyone looking in. Your fake reviews in the sea of genuine 1 star reviews serve only to further illustrate to anyone researching you as a company how untrustworthy you are. They are laughable.
