Steer well clear!

A truly appalling company, one of the worst financial services companies I've had to deal with. Put account into 'sleep mode' with no warning and took all my accrued PLU. After months eventually got the cash back that was in the account but they ignored emails for months and this only happened when complaint escalated to the FOS.

They are brilliant...up to mid 2024

They are brilliant...up to mid 2024. Then it all went downhill. Promised feature are forever "Coming Soon" or launched but are as useful as a chocolate teapot. The CEO always deem and treat customers like idiots, saying customers are misusing the product. The crypto, PLU are going down in value quicker than Donald Trump could crash the share market. Stay away from Plutus for your own sanity. Don't get involved.

3 years of in-transparency and fraud

I've been a customer of Plutus since 2022. Their business model is cashback in their own cryptocurrency PLU. Over the last 3 years, I witnessed multiple shady tactics close to fraud from this company. From punishing people for transferring their earned cashback to Metamask by suspending their account, over changing terms and conditions daily and even retrospectively, to introducing a 33% fee for payouts which have to be paid in fiat. Then they advertise a way to have free payouts, where once again the terms are changed multiple times to ensure nobody is actually eligible anymore. The customer service is horrible, doesn't respond for weeks. Even in urgent matters where my account was locked it took them 3 weeks to unlock it, while they still charged the subscription fee for it. The "community votes" look nice but don't exist and are simply faked. There already are multiple lawsuits going on against them, and multiple were lost already. Absolutely stay away from this.

Not to be trusted.

Not to be trusted. I think this company has had its time! People have lost thousands. They are incapable of making up their minds for the direction they want their business to go. Everything went downhill after they announced difficulty adjustment and then decided to bin it off. They act like a FRESH FRESH FRESH startup and forget people do actually use this, you can’t keep damaging peoples trust like this constantly changing the way their offering works.

PLUTUS

Unfortunately, my experience with Plutus has been very negative. At first, everything looked promising — a payment card with cashback in the form of PLU cryptocurrency and a straightforward subscription model. However, during my usage, the rules were changed multiple times, and the actual benefits were significantly reduced.

In order to withdraw the earned cashback, they suddenly introduced a requirement to purchase and deposit additional PLU tokens to upgrade your tier. This change was applied retroactively, after I had already used the card and accumulated cashback.

Moreover, the terms for tiers and rewards were adjusted repeatedly, which clearly affected the price of PLU — mostly to the users' disadvantage.

One more frustrating aspect is that once you top up your Plutus card, you are not allowed to transfer the funds back or withdraw them — the only way to access your own money is by spending it directly with the card.

The final straw was when my PLU withdrawal was canceled, and when I mentioned this issue on their official Discord, I was banned for simply raising the topic.

A lack of transparency, constantly shifting rules, and censorship of criticism make this a very unprofessional service in my opinion. I cannot recommend it.

Plutus is following the wrong path. Same path took by Crypto.com! Final destination is Disgrace.

I'm in the Crypto scene since 2017, I've seen many companies going under for unlawful actions and wrong decisions, like Celsius, Crypto.com, FTX and others.

Plutus started well, but since their 2024's whitepaper things are going from bad to worst.
In the last 3 years they modified the rules for rewards a few times, charged insane fees to withdraw and didn't give the community much choice other than lose money!

Now they want to create a new token, because their original token PLU is losing value day after day.
When I joined the community the token used to oscillate from 8 to 20 dolars each, today it's valued below 1 dolar.
I'm sure they made a sh*tload of money in this process of controled implosion of the PLU token, total manipulation.
They're basically stealing puchased power from their clients.
Total Scam!

The governance and management of Plutus is a joke! Totally disrespectful with they clients.

PS.: Just got my account suspended today, weirdly and suspiciously enough, my account was blocked just a few days ago, after I voted against the release of a new token called PLU Rare, that would decimate the value of their original token PLU.

I fell ashemed of investing £2500+ in this company.

I don't really care about losing money or purchased power, after all I only invest money that I'm ok losing. But I do care about not been respected by a company or supplier.

Plutus don't give a damm about their clients.

Money grabbers.

Don't work with them

Can plutus explain that: on 5th April i was charge amount of money by company which I have prof of payments then on 7th April same thing happen but then I don't have prof of payment like was not me. My account did go negative balance because of it. Plutus did answer to me saying don't worry first transaction was decline that's why was charge another one. So can you explain how decline transaction show on statement as was charge not pending but show as was charge and also after that my account did go to negative balance if was decline there is no way to go negative balance ?? Did I miss something. That's clear show how bad is Plutus.

Account suspended again within the…

Account suspended again within the space of two weeks. Last time I emailed support asking how to fix, they just unsuspended the account. Now two weeks later it's suspended again holding my funds. Unreliable service, do not use.

Cant log into the account anymore as their bad 2 step verification system is not worth it. Difficult to reach them too. Feel free to keep my 3 euros inside the account.

Denied my free payout after I was…

Denied my free payout after I was upgrading reward level like prompted via their email. Now they want me to pay a 33% fee for reward self-custody (which they advertised as one of their standout features before).

All this after having been through an endless loop of devaluation. Months after months they made policy changes to the detriment of the paying customer, devaluing rewards.

I lost so much money with Plutus it’s not even funny.

Now they want me to pay REAL money to move the rewards (that are only worth 1/10 now due to their self-destructive policy changes over the past year) I earned to my own wallet.

It was good until it wasn't.

It was good until it wasn't.
A lot of promises made only to be bait and switched. Very scammy company, stay away!
Edit: plutus are on damage control as can be seen by the dismissive and somewhat aggressive response to this review.
Constant rule changes and hoops to jump through to receive cashback "rewards" in the form of PLU, their crypto currency that they printed out of thin air that has been on a steady downwards spiral since early 2023. It's only worth what people are willing to pay for it which means to me, it is worthless.

I get it, their business model wasn't sustainable and was going to drive them into the ground however, they then got angry and took it out on loyal customers, changed their terms for the worst and made the service they provide abysmal compared to what it used to be.

Have a look at all the happy former customers on reddit r/plutus_uncensored the main plutus reddit page is heavily moderated to filter out all unhappy customers. Don't trust them.

Very poor and too many fakes online

Danial Daychopan the CEO of this company is a liar and a deceiver, the only thing he does well is engage in fights on twitter with his customers and harrass them for using the product the way they advertised it.

Now they also use fake accounts in Twitter and Discord to promote the project and pay ambassadors to leave good reviews on trust pilot.

Do not believe the 5* reviews it's all family members of the owners or paid ambassadors. Do not believe the positive comments on twitter, it's all fake or ambassadors as well. Everything this company does online if faking everything, even the roadmap is fake and out of 10 milestones each year only one or two are achieved and end up very different that what was announced but they need to lure people in to keep it going.

They also use shady voting systems that can be rigged and the CEO influences the voting online.

The project is disgraceful, they change the rules very often and you end up with nothing.

The only purpose of this company is to charge you a monthly subscription that you won't be able to get any benefit from. PLU payouts are rejected, gift cards have astonishing fees, you can literally get the same gift card (and even cheaper) in other providers where you don't pay a subscription and you won't have all the trouble you have with this company. Accounts suspended, source of funds, audits where you have to send receipts and many bugs that are never resolved. It's a nightmare.

Oh and they are also very poor at handling data, you have to send your very sensitive information like bank statements and personal info through typeform. The accounts aren't deleted and you keep receiving emails about Plutus, the logins and mobile numbers aren't removed either, it stays in th system forever going against the GDPR. They try to cover it up by saying they have to save data due to being a financial company but they are not a financial company, it's a lie, they are a software company.

Stay away!
