Possibly the biggest joke of a company in history. Please do some research before even considering going anywhere near them.

They lie, change terms with no notice, backdate rules. They also censor anyone who dares question what they are doing. Try and find one of their official forums where you can speak freely... there aren't any, it's like North Korea.

To top it off, the guy who runs it can't handle the fact that he's useless and blames everyone but himself for how terrible the business is. He's a laughing stock to everyone but himself and his team of weirdo minions.

Seriously though, avoid Plutus like the plague, you won't regret it

They continue to take recurring payment AFTER cancellation!

I cancelled this five months ago, but they’re still taking a monthly payment! Despite me writing to them on their chat EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH. to get a refund and someone telling me it’s definitely been cancelled ‘don’t worry’. I wait a month, then check and, of course, they’ve just taken ANOTHER payment! They’re lying, not cancelling and hoping you don’t notice - AVOID!

Zero Trust and Zero Integrity

They messed up so much and changed their rules so often previously - a chain of bad decisions and arrogance/incompetence at the CEO level - that they antagonized their most long term customers (which they later labeled "abusers")

To make up for it they offered free scraps in PLU, which you had to pay a FIAT fee to "withdraw". Against their promise, they never refunded the fiat fee, and even though transactions are transparent on the blockchain, their customer support is horrible and it's pretty obvious that they have the instructions to reject any claim and just want to keep my money. I'm sure many others are going through the same.

Thieves.

1) There is no free money
2) Would have been better off collecting AMEX points
3) They tried for YEARS to deliver "rewards" but STILL fail miserably
4) A lot of "customers" are in loss overall
5) Don't trust their promises and attempt to lure you into something - it's a temporary trap (their rules historically change very often)
6) CEO has zero integrity and still keeps going
7) I lost thousands of Euros and a lot of time following their changes and promises

Impossible to get your money out and…

Impossible to get your money out and dishonest way they treat customers.
Not FSCS approved so your money is at risk, EMIs like Modulr are not safe so your fiat / £GBP is at risk.
Terrible way they have treated customers when it comes to withdrawals. Their CEO has called customers freeloaders and other insults. See the Coffeezilla youtube interview for more on just how disrespectful their CEO is towards clients.

Cashback Is a Gimmick - not of real value

Plutus promotes this £50 sign-up bonus and “cashback” system, but what they’re actually giving you is 5 PLUS — a made-up reward currency that’s basically useless.

You can’t spend PLUS like real money. It just gives you tiny discounts on gift cards — for example, I tried to redeem a £50 Argos gift card and Plutus wanted me to use 0.15 PLUS for a £1.50 discount, then still pay the remaining £48.50 out of pocket. So what exactly is the “reward” here?

PLUS is not cashback. It’s a gimmick currency designed to look like you’re earning something, when in reality you’re getting nothing that feels like actual value.

To top it off, I posted in their Reddit asking for clarification and the moderator deleted my post. That tells you everything about how transparent this company is.

Don’t fall for it. Avoid Plutus if you’re expecting real rewards or actual cashback. It’s smoke and mirrors.

Do yourself a favour and stick with a real bank.

Been a customer on a paid subscription for several years and have been patient as the company tried to evolve but its gone too far now.
As other users have said, the rules are insanely complex and keep changing, usually in ways that penalise long standing customers. Communication and customer service is possibly some of the worst I have ever experienced - they promise 24 hours to turn around a request. In reality it takes weeks and somethimes months for a response. I have been waiting 3 months to close my account and get my money back. And their CEO Danial Daychopan calling a significant number of their customers leeches on X didnt help! They have failed spectacularly.

More problematic though is how misleading their promises are. 3% cashback - its not. It's predicated on a fixed value of their PLUS Reward points being worth £10. So your cashback is a magnitude less than 3%.

Even more problematic is the constant threar of removal of benefits unless you 'stack' a certain amount of their PLU crypto currency. So whilst they arent allowed to promote you to buy it, they get round these rules by creating an environment where you are forced to do so in order to get any use from your monthly subscription.

There also remains lots of problems like being unable to pay money in unless it comes from an account in your name and being unable to withdraw your money once its on the card. Basically its a points card you load with money that costs you a subscription for benefits you can get for free if you look hard enough on the Internet. Do yourself a favour and stick with a normal bank protected by financial regulations - Plutus does neither banking nor rewards well.

Stay away from this company

This company has gone down the rabbit hole to become just another crypto scam.

They stole our PLU, the customer service doesn't exist anymore, almost feels like talking to bots 99% of the time, and on top of that you now have to pay just to access to your account. Absolute trash, I hope you go bankrupt.

Complain to the Financial Ombudsman if you're in the UK

Worst Financial Experience I have ever had. For me this all looks fraudulent. Lost all my advantages/PLU by their change of terms and conditions. After all I have lost money on obligatory subscription and have had simply NO benefit at all. Highlight NOT tecommended

Not worth the hassle

I was a customer of Plutus.it for over a year and initially found the concept promising — using their card to accumulate Plutus rewards, top up monthly, and make the most of various perks. However, over time the platform became increasingly frustrating. They kept changing the rules, introducing new subscriptions, and complicating the user experience to the point where it was no longer worth paying for a subscription.

The final straw was trying to retrieve all the Plutus stored in my account. I contacted customer service multiple times over a span of more than six months. Their responses were extremely slow and in the end, they only transferred 53 pence to my account. Frankly, it felt like a joke and a complete waste of time.

The lack of transparency, the constant changes, and the poor customer support have left a very bad impression. I definitely do not recommend Plutus.it to anyone.

Another addition with a very clear…

Another addition with a very clear example.

According to plutus communication, I have 3 perks per month with a value of 10 euro and I get "3%" cashback on my purchases.

I did a purchase of 201 euro at a store that is one of my perks.

I received 1,38 PLUS.
Value at this very moment = 1,38 x 0,50 euro = 0,69 for my perk and cashback together.

Instead of 10 euro + 3%, I received a stunning 0,34% return, that's 10x less than the promised cashback, PERK INCLUDED!!! 🤣🤣
According to what they promise and how the system worked before, I should have received 16 euro of value in PLU, based on the current value and not some ridiculous "theoretical value".

And still... They believe there is nothing wrong and there is some universe in which what they say is completely correct...

I repeat, the communication is criminally misleading!
Stay far away from this scam!

Terrible Service & Misleading Billing

My experience with Plutus has been awful. They lost my verified KYC documents and then rudely demanded I submit them again, threatening to close my account when I questioned their unprofessional process.

I agreed to the cancellation, only to find they have now charged me for a subscription on this closed account. To make matters worse, the charge appeared under a different company's name, not 'Plutus', making it very difficult to spot. This is unacceptable and misleading. Their administrative process is a mess and they have serious issues with customer service and billing. I would strongly recommend avoiding them.

Customer support is responsive for me

Customer support is responsive for me. But in a bearish altcoin market, PLU struggles to perform well. However, I see significant potential for improvement in better market conditions. It's a highly competitive space, so only time will tell how it evolves.

Plutus isn't great. There are better alternatives.

I had Plutus for 5 years. For the most part they were just unreliable, considering the nature of the project i was trying to be patient and indifferent to it.

The experience i had with Plutus in the past few months changed my opinion of them. Its not just that they are unreliable but they can end up being a liability. Getting help from the support team can be aggravating and time consuming. I ended up just closing my account, not worth the hassle.

I agree with quite a few negative things being said by others on here.

As things are right now, I can't recommend it to anyone. There are better, more reliable and trustworthy alternatives.

Enshittification and censorship

I've been customer for a while, hoping Plutus would stop the enshittification of their products. To no avail: scam after scam, all trust is eroded.
On top of that, they censor critical comments on Reddit, X and Telegram, and block their authors. The only place where they can't do it is Trustpilot, and everyone can see the result.
