Was great at first, but they paid my xfinity bill and it was reversed 20 days later and same with second bill. Someone replied they were passing along but it has been weeks and if the bill won't be paid i need a refund but you can not get anyone to ever respond. There should be a phone number you can call.

4/30/2025 UPDATE: Deferit took care of my problem 100 percent!!! I am very thankful and it has truly changed my opinion. It took a while but they made it right!!!! For a five days now I have been contacting deferit to correct a mistake on my account where they lowered my credit limit for no reason. I have not been late. I pay ahead of time and pay off early. Nothing has happened with my score that would cause it. They say they will fix it over and over and do not. When I posted a review they comment on it saying they are eager to correct it yet they do not. There is no way to contact them other than email and it takes weeks for them to answer. If you want to use a service like this make it ZIP or Willow! They do not charge a membership fee like Deferit does and they always respond. I’ve been a deferit customer for over 3 years and a loyal one they do not care about their customers who make them. I’m sure they will post on this review they are eager to help and for me to contact them but it’s lies!!!! So don’t let they fool you. You can contact them a 100 times but they do not do what they say they will do. Even if they did two weeks from now the stress of having to deal with them is horrible.

DEFFERIT is the BEST pay in 4 bill pay app I have used so far. The process is easy and it boosted my credit score and I didn't ever realize it, it helped me be able to manage paying my dentist bill and my cell phone bill when I had a financial hardship and I project that I will use it going forward to catch up some other bills and to even try to pay off bills that have higher interest or finance charges. I would recommend this app to anyone.

I’ve been using Deferit for bills since 4/2022. It’s like Afterpay for bills, but much more easier to move dates. They have helped me during difficult economic times and I recommend to all my family and friends! I would not recommend if I didn’t truly believe this is a good benefit to have. They are compulsive liars. I will never to business with them again. Paid off what I needed to way ahead of schedule and they keep charging me saying I owe 14 then charges me 19 after I already paid the whatever fee. Make payment arrangements with you bill before you deal with these people

On July 17, 2024, I reached out to Deferit for assistance with the payment of my utility bill paid to my landlord and was told that I qualified for a $150 payment. I would need to pay a subscription fee of $14.99 plus a first payment installment of $58.48, which was paid on July 17, 2024. After my payment was made, I received an email from Deferit stating that my bill could not be paid electronically and that a check would be mailed instead. It should be received within 7-10 business days, no later than August 3rd, which is the due date for my bill. Unfortunately, I confirmed with my landlord on August 5, 2024, that they never received the check payment. I reached out to Deferit on numerous occasions to request a refund and cancel my account, and to not report any information on my credit report due to me not receiving the services that were advertised. I received a refund of $58.48 on August 17, 2024, but I did not receive the refund of $14.99, so I reached back out to Deferit. Eventually, I received the refund of $14.99 on August 22, 2024, and per my communication with Deferit, my account was canceled. Well, I received a credit alert from TransUnion a month later stating that Deferit has reported the canceled account to my credit report with $450 limit, a balance of $113 owed, and monthly payment of $38 which is all inaccurate seeing that I only was approved for $150 and didn't even receive that. Now I have to go through the process of getting the account disputed when it should have never been reported in the first place.
Very disappointed with not being able to contact them I am owed $79 from a bill that was returned. I have not seen my money. I’ve messaged the company no reply.
Customer service must be ran by an AI because they refuse to actually speak like a human being and answer my simple inquiries on how to safely and securely send ID and sensitive credit card information and encrypted format in order to protect my information. It's almost hilarious on how obviously the customer service rep does not care and would just repeat themselves and give you a lousy sorry that absolutely has no feeling behind whatsoever. And at this point they haven't even responded to me since Friday when I sent the latest email. Which brings me to my next point, that they do not have an actual phone number to talk to a human. Instead what you get is plain tag through email with them. And probably the final frustration with these guys is the fact that you have to provide ID a selfie and a picture of your credit card, front and back, if you want to use anyone else's debit or credit card to pay your bill with them. I have never had a website punish me for trying to pay a bill and pay them my money if the credit card or debit card wasn't specifically in my name. This has to be the dumbest thing that I've ever experienced and I've canceled my membership, which I guess they must have so many customers at this point that they don't care because they made absolutely no attempts to try to keep my business. Overall, my experience has been very poor and I cannot in good faith ever recommend anyone using their services in any capacity. Just know that you will never get a manager to speak with you, they'll continue to basically rewrite the same email over and over again without actually addressing your concerns as a real human being. I'm just glad that I only had to use them for one month, and this experience was very eye opening because it would have been terrible if this was the holidays or something else important. The reason I bring this up is because they did not pay my bill automatically and my bill is actually late and I received an email from the company saying that they have not received the payment and they are about to cancel my car insurance. I have no idea why Deferit didn't automatically pay that bill, as I had already paid my monthly membership so that was very annoying that they basically stole my money for November without actually paying the bill whatsoever. I'm just looking to pay my last two payments and they just be done with them but I cannot say enough bad things about them. I'm just going to go to all websites and contain to leave very negative reviews so people can know the honest truth about these companies.
Deferit help me pay my rent. Not all.But a good chunk at $500 so that is just about a quarter of what I had owed, so grateful, it worked, zero issue, i will write more below for nay-sayers or for those in need of such help on rent, again not all, but it worked for me.

I have been attempting to login to my Deferit but will not accept my password. Keeps saying my password does not match my email address. So I try password reset. Apparently an email has been sent to my nominated email address. However, I have not received it, neither in my inbox or spam folder. It has been half an hour since. I have attempted to contact them, but have no reply.
Not a very reliable service. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Somewhere that is more reliable.
